The hotel is in the Tokyo bay area and conveniently services by two tram and one bus stations. Room (2 single and 2 futon beds) was adequately large and comfortable for a family of four. The hotel also has a coin laundry on site which was very convenient. The self luggage area is also good and practical.

Access by elevators to the reception on the first floor is not well marked and upon arrival ended up going a flight of stairs with our luggage. The restaurant area, while large, does not cater for the capacity of the hotel and hence waiting lines are the order of the day (practically over a 4 night stay we had to line up 3 times). Furthermore, while breakfast is advertised until 1000hrs, staff on the day always informed us that food would be taken away at 0940hrs and restaurant would close at 1000hrs, even though we would have lined up until around 0915hrs to enter. Breakfast food selection was good, however despite the large selection of items and French toast prepared on site, no bread for ordinary toast was available.

Awesome hotel. Definitely add the breakfast to your reservation. The hotel is attached to a mall with lots of stores and restaurants. It is just a five minute walk to the train station. So you can go just about anywhere. Tokyo Big Sight is a 15 minute walk for the hotel. And Diver City is only two train stops away. Lawson's ( a great 24 hour convenance store) is on the corner. We would go early every morning for coffee and danish.

There was a kettle for hot water and drip coffee packages. I would have loved a coffee pot. But Lawson's 24 hour store was on the corner, and we went there every morning for coffee.

I loved the layout. It was close to the train station and there is a large mall attached. The mall has plenty of food options, shops and even a claw machine arcade. Theres a mini stop also connected which was perfect for late night snacks and treats. They also have their own luggage delivery service that was super cheap to ship to our next hotel. The dining hall attached is buffet style and theres plenty of options!

The rooms are definitely small and theres minimal luggage space especially if you are traveling with large suitcases. The spa and relaxation amenities were hard to use and we didnt end up using them because of this

The hotel is located about 30 min from the main touristic areas, but I was aware of that. And it happenned to be a good choice, because they have a great infrastructure, integrated with mall, spa, subway... you don´t even need to walk out of the hotel to reach the food court of the mall with more than 30 options of good restaurants and a beautiful garden. There is also a big supermarket on the lower floor. Also Daiso store and even a theater on the complex. So pretty much you dont need to get out of the hotel if you dont want to, which was very convenient for me. check in was smooth and quick. Although the rooms are simple, they had all the necessary things: USB adaptor for bed time charging, hair drier, slippers, spa bath clothing. It was also possible to book private spa and sauna sessions, which I think is great. Subway station is one block away, and there is a LAWSON store at the corner.

Room was small, however this is a standard in Tokyo, not really a matter of this hotel only. It was a twin bed, so I could use one of the beds to put my big suitcase, because otherwise it would not fit inside the room, so please be aware of that when you book. Beds were hard for me, and shower with curtains instead of glass is not my kind. But it was worth the money, since the infrastructure compensated this part.

We loved our stay! We even had reservations with another hotel on our last few nights in Tokyo before we flew home and we loved our experience so much during the first part of our trip that we canceled our last hotel and booked with Ariake Villa Fontaine again. We especially loved the Spa/Onsen! We will be back!

I didn't love that we could not keep the hotel pajamas... I loved them! I wish you guys sold them so we could have taken them home as a souvenir! Other than that, the room was a little small but that is no one's fault. I think the pictures make it seem larger than it is but it's japan so I should have expected this. Its okay! We loved our stay.

Great location. Hotel is located next to a big shopping mall with a wide selection of restaurants. Just near 3 convenience stores (konbini) and also 5 min away to 3 different train stations by walking. teamLab Planets is just a station away. But other attractions are at least 30-40 minutes away by train so keep that in mind. Rooms were very clean, brand new and had everything we wanted. 2 USB-A ports by the beds and a universal power outlet. They keep your luggage after checkout if you want to.

Staff does NOT know any English and they are very inexperienced. Lack of experience is absolutely okay when there is an experienced person looking after them but there were none at any time and this is not a budget hostel. You are all by yourself at the reception trying to explain yourself in most basic English. As you can guess by the lack of experience, such no concierge too.

Location in Ariake great, right next to a shopping mall Ariake Garden with lots of places to eat and shop. The room was nice and spacious, beds very comfortable. Airy, tidy lobby with high ceilings. Very easy self check-in process. Breakfast buffet great, not cheap but reasonable at 2800 yen per adult (our 4 year old boy was free), excellent selection of seafood if that's your thing. Busy hotel but we did not feel crowded or rushed. Nice view of Odaiba/Ariake from our top level room.

The knobs to turn off the bedside lights were broken; one worked but made the light flicker like a strobe light before you could turn it off, and the other one the knob kept turning around with no effect, before either coming off completely, or mysteriously turning the light off. Other than that, only complaint is there was no hot coffee in the pot for breakfast.

It was close the University that I was going to visit. Connected to a big shopping mall with a supermarket in the basement of the shopping mall, it was easy enough to get supper. There was a Ministop convenience store beside the hotel (I didn’t visit it but at least it was there), a Lawson about 5-10 minute walk away and a Family Mart about 15 minutes away by foot, opposite Tokyo Ariake Medical University. The staff were very friendly and helpful. While not perfect English, it was more than enough to communicate. The room was wide enough for a solo traveller, and could allow a luggage to be opened up easily enough without compromising too much on walking space. Television had a wide variety of channels (but most if not all were in Japanese (understandably so)). You could even track which washing machines in the laundry room were available and how much longer each wachine machine/dryer would take! There was also a speaker that you could connect via bluetooth but I didn’t try it out. In the evening, you had free access to anything you might need in the lobby, such as facial oils, creams, drip coffees and tea bags. I was able to store my luggage in the hotel before and after checkout for free, and the staff also assisted me in calling for a taxi when I finally collected my luggage in the evening after checking out.

The pajamas was… oddly uncomfortable. Not sure if its the material or I just had the wrong size, but it was very slippery to me and while I had my good night’s sleep, I did find myself wishing that I had my own pajamas. The washing machine cum dryer also didn’t really dry my clothes that well, and it came out fairly damp despite drying my clothes for a longer period of time than the preset one. I had to airdry them in my room, on my bed. A bit of a hassle, but something I expected would happen, especially after using other hotels’ waching machines/dryer. No deal breakers however.

Nice and convenient hotel near bay area. Close to conference centre and easy to reach by public transport. Room was compact but had all the needed amenities. Comfortable bed, good shower, adjustable airconditiong. Spent only 2 nights but perfect for the purpose. Breakfast was good and staff was very helpful.

The self-checkin machines are a bit impersonal, but the staff was quite helpful to explain. I believe this is the standard method across hotels in this area. I was a bit disappointed to find no coffee/tea in the room at arrival, but I found later that it can be taken from the lobby along with other things (the drip coffee was actually quite nice), would have been useful to have that indicated in the room booklet.

I loved the cleanliness of the hotel and the room, they were really attentive and it was great to be right next to Ariake garden mall with endless food choices. The spa was also really beautiful, it was such a great experience, and a great insight into Japanese culture and comradery whilst having a public spa and bath experience.

The bed was a little too firm for me, I also wished that we didn't have to pay for extra water when the 2 bottles a day were done.
