Good location to 5th avenue and beach. Very friendly staff

Breakfast was very very small portion. I do not except the miracles for £10 is around 270MXN and you can get proper breakfast for that money. portions were very small to the point where you couldn’t even pick up food from plate with your fork. that you could not pick up food from your plate with fork. That plus coffee substitute = and we ended up for 2nd breakfast at Greenfit and Starbucks coffee everyday.

Location is excellent, close to Quinta avenida. The staff is very responsive, especially Guida, she was super helpful and attentive. The hotel is comfortable and very clean. The reception is open 24/7. It is especially great for those who want to explore Playa del Carmen and the surroundings (from the hotel they can help you with excursions and recommendations for many activities).

Because of the proximity to busy streets, for us it was a bit too noisy. There was a bar with live music until late (one day 2am). The breakfast is exactly the same every day (choice from 5 egg options, fried beans, toast with jam and butter, juice and American coffee) so I don't recommend it if you are staying longer than 2-3 days. The best beaches (playa Punta Esmeralda, Playa 88) are not in proximity (20-30 minutes walk, which can be problematic when very hot), but we easily got taxis (for about 5-10 euros, funnily the price varies for the same distance, so you have to negotiate).

Absolutely LOVED the staff and location. The staff Jade, Erick and Maggie were super polite and helpful. And the location is great, its literally right next to 5th avenue which is where most of the action is.

I didn't care for the beds to be honest, it was a bit too firm for me. Also would've preferred a larger TV. The restaurant attached to the hotel, their breakfast is good but I didn't like their lunch.

Great location, easy to get around. Staff was very helpful and helped us organize our daily trips from hotel several months in advance. Big kudos goes to receptionist Giada who not only helped with booking all the daily trips, informing me about the prices in advance etc, but also made sure we are on schedule with each trip knowing what to do. All in all it was a great and relaxing stay.

Would need some renovation since building is visibly old

Location and friendly staff above expectation. We were on the upper floor, so external noise from the street or pool was not an issue. A nice large room with balcony. We would stay here again for sure.

Breakfast selection after day 3 get's a little repetitive. Some of the internal doors need a bit of attention

The hotel is just a short walk from all the stores and pick-up points, which makes getting around so easy.

The room doesn’t have any equipment to hang towels or a proper working table inside for eating or working. There is a table and chair on the balcony, but it’s too hot to stay outside for long.

The front desk staff was great. Very helpful. They gave us a coupon for a discount at the Vagabunda restaurant, which was great. Explained tours to us etc. The hotel has a great location a block away from 5th Avenue, and near some good restaurants. The pool and courtyard was nice, but small. Hotel had good hot water and AC, and a safe to put valuables in. Our room had balcony overlooking the courtyard, which was nice.

On our last day there, they put some disgusting looking stained sheets on the bed. I brought it to the front desk's attention and she was horrified by the picture I showed her. She said she would tell the manager. The common areas like lobby sitting areas and the stairs were dirty. I did see a maid mopping the hallway, though. We didn't always get our toilet paper and soap replenished, and had to go to the front desk and ask for more.

Breakfast was always the same but delicious and enough for us. Eggs (you can choose from 5 types), juice and coffee. The restaurant is right next to the pool, easily accessable. Air conditioning stopped working on the first day but such happens, we got a new room immediately. The hotel is located just one street away from the famous long walking street in PDC but already far enough not to hear the noise. The hotel does not have its own parking lot but we could always park the car just next to the hotel, on the road. It is 10 peso per hour, and you need to pay from 10am till 10pm. The pool is nice but in shadow during the whole day, therefore the water is very cold.

Warm washing water came very slowly, we usually had to wait minutes till the water was warmed and we could have a wash. It was not an issue for us but for the 1,5 year old baby.

King room setup was perfect for our 3 adults and 2 small children. Plenty of space to spread out and a little sitting area in the room too as well as nice sized balcony. Giada was also excellent at helping us find options for tours, transportation, and activities. She was very patient in answering all our questions and asking around for the best pricing.

Good location, a block away from 5th Ave. Clean, quiet, with a nice shady pool. Pool towels provided. Sweet little cafe downstairs - great breakfast! Nice people at the desk. Small refri, big enough for a 6-pack & leftover food box. Good hot water. Shampoo and soap provided. Elevator is a nice perk if you are on the 3rd floor as we were.

No towel racks or cups provided in bathroom...I asked for a cup - no. Pillows were lumpy, wished I'd brought mine. We thought we escaped the noise but a LOUD band played across the street on Friday night into the wee hours. Glad I brought my earplugs. Other than that night it was fairly quiet... sadly, a diminishing aspect in PdC.
