Bed was very comfortable, room was nice and clean, breakfast was unbelievably excellent -the choice was extremely good, staff lovely, brilliant location, very close to lovely restaurants and the canal, very good for Utilitia arena which is what we were staying for, we will definitely return here.

Room a little shabby for the price, air conditioning was poor in the heat in our room but we did have a fan which worked well, dressing table was chipped on the side, a part of the shower was missing its cover, the soap holder in the shower had lost its covering, several badly covered drilled holes in the bathroom tiles, it just needed a handy person to fix these things really but this is nit picking as we loved it here.

I was horrified to see that there was a giant dog in the bar for hours (during our lunch and still there after theatre). It slobbered all over floor - slip hazard - and climbed and dribbled and slept and scratched on numerous couches and soft furnishings. I found this disgusting. Not because I’m scared of dogs, but because of the awful hygiene and safety issues this presented. I doubt you will take the least bit of notice of my feedback here, but this would definitely put me off in the future, unless I am able to read your positive policy in this regard.

The hotel looks very nice outside. It has a good restaurant, the staff is nice and helpful. The location is very good.

The hotel doesn't have its own parking, so you have to park the next door Q-parking or to pre-book also a next door parking (just a little bit closer) and to prepaid which is impossible especially when you dont know your time of arriving... for example if you booked arriving time at 6pm and arrive at 4pm you cant enter, have to wait...so you have to book for early hours and be extra charged...that is why we choosed the Q-parking with a ticket system upon of your arrival and is very good but you have to walk the street with all your luggage. It was not problem, just saying for others to have in mind. Rooms are a little outdated and need renovation in order to remove the old carpet to be removed and replaced with wooden floor or tiles, as it has a lot of stains and it is not very hygienic.

Every Staff member was pleasant and helpful, without exception. The room was well furnished , spotless and the bed extremely comfortable . The bar area was comfortable and stylish . The breakfast was very good and catered well for vegetarians. Freshly ground coffee was available and eggs were cooked to order. The hotel is very central for all the city’s attractions and there are numerous bars and restaurants close by. All of this came at a very competitive price. I would not hesitate to to recommend this hotel.

the moment I first checked in was treated with a smile and friendly staff that showed how much they welcomed us. we were given the wrong code from just park, when I mentioned thus to reception they apologised and gave us both complimentary breakfast, they also checked the driving zone for me reassuring I wouldn't get charged. they explained exactly how I get to our room. the lobby, restaurant hallway carpets and room was outstandingly clean with lovely details/decor. Nice spacious room and perfect location. The breakfast was a delight great variety and plenty of friendly staff again. walking around the hotel you felt in good hands, clean, always someone around if needed help really felt you special. On checkout I asked where they brought the chairs from in the rooms as I had been looking for a new office chair. Theirs was perfect, to my surprise tge manager came out and said as they are refurbishing the rooms (no idea why as really nice) that i could have one of these chairs and got a chat to kindly get one for me and put in my car. thank you so much your kindness has left me in such high spirits. They really do go above and beyond to look after you and to make your stay absolutely pleasant. I will be there again and will let everyone know if they are going to a concert and need somewhere to stay thus us 100% the best place to stay, only wish I could have stayed longer.

Friendly staff, clean hotel and comfy beds. Decent size room, birthday package we booked was lovely- nice balloon, message and delicious brownie / drinks. Iron and ironing board / hairdryer/ safe/ shower gel etc all provided. Really great location, close to loads of car parks, the utilita arena, sea life centre, legoland discovery centre, bars & resturants & cafes. Fab! Think they have their own carpark too but we used a cheaper one only 7 mins walk away.

Wasn’t given any info about breakfast & couldn’t find any breakfast info either. We looked at the menus around the hotel and also on the TV but didn’t see anything. Only 1 tv channel worked

Everything. Location, room, cleanliness, facilities, food, drink but mainly THE STAFF. I've been staying here while my partner has an operation at the Royal Orthopedic Hospital. After checking in together on night one, I've been here alone. The staff have gone above and beyond at every stage of my stay. The care and kindness they have shown me has been unwavering - at reception, with room service, by housekeeping and at the bar and restaurant. When I had to book an extra night (twice) at short notice they easily accommodated me and also gave me my old room back. I've had the odd extra treat from room service and at the bar and I just generally feel cossetted. All of this has been so welcome and appreciated while dealing with hospital visits. Notwithstanding the location has easy access to coffee shops, restaurants and a lovely walk along the river to the Bullring etc. Would not stay anywhere else in Birmingham if and when we visit again.

The service at the desk was really attentive even though arrival time was quite late. I appreciated the run through of the room and when the breakfast would be available. Also really liked the service staff on breakfast, nothing was too much and it was a service with a smile attitude that felt genuine rather than forced which is hard to deliver when really you need the guests out to flip the service for afternoon.

Bathroom felt quite boxy and tight to navigate but not something I would take issue with but just smaller than I would like.

The hotel was a short walk from the train station and the Utilita Arena. There were plenth of options for dinner and we recommend JuJu’s for Brunch in the morning. It’s only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The bed was comfy and the room had a fair amount of space which helped whilst we were getting ready for the evening. There were several mirrors so I could do my hair and makeup at the desk and not have to sit on the floor or an odd area of the room to be close to both plugs and mirrors!

The room was quite dark when we arrived during the day as there is not a main light in the bedroom area, only lights on either side of the bed. This was not a major issue as we weren’t in the room for much of the time and you can pull back the curtains and blinds for more light. The desk chair was very squeaky when used for getting ready and did not fit under the desk.

right from the reception the hotel was clean and welcoming. The staff were friendly and polite. we were room 15 on the 6th floor. we had a queen room with breakfast included. the room was compact but perfect for our nights stay. it was clean and had everything we needed. There was plenty of storage, a desk and chair, tea and coffee. The lighting was subtle so the room felt relaxed. the TV was on the wall. When I sat on the bed, it felt a bit firm, I didnt think I'd sleep well but i actually slept really well. The bathroom was compact with nice shampoo, conditioner etc, nice fluffy towels. Breakfast was included between 6:30-9:30. There was a cooked breakfast, cereal, toast and pastries. Juice, water and hot drinks. I really enjoyed mine. check in and check out was easy. it was close to the Utilita so for a night stay was perfect.
