The hotel was located in a nice neighborhood, close to the main attractions of the city and relatively well connected. The room was clean and the staff very helpful. The room also hade a very good view on the city.

The room was very small, although it had everything needed. One side of the bed was almost attached to the wall which made it uncomfortable to get on and off for the person sleeping on that side.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Buckle Street Studios by Locke and must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment I entered the hotel, I was captivated by its unique design and attention to detail. The bed in my room deserves a special mention – it was unbelievably comfortable. I found myself reluctant to leave in the morning morning, and I even stayed until the very last minute. The hotel's commitment to providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere truly stood out. One of the aspects I appreciated the most was the incorporation of art into everyday items, such as the beautifully crafted cups by local artists. It added a touch of charm and authenticity to the overall ambiance. Another noteworthy detail was the hotel's support for refugees by offering tea made by them. This thoughtful gesture not only made the stay more meaningful but also contributed to a sense of global awareness. The location of the hotel was perfect, making it easy for me to explore the surrounding area. During my stay, I had the pleasure of interacting with the receptionist, Simona. Her friendly and helpful demeanor added a personal touch to my experience. We had a delightful chat, and to top it off, she graciously offered me coffee from the nearby coffee place, further enhancing the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. I want to express my gratitude to Simona for going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Her kindness and attentiveness truly made my day better. Overall, my time at this hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a delightful and memorable stay.

I arrived after midnight and night time receptionists were a bit less professional than day time receptionists (Simona was great!).

Bed was super comfy and hotel is located in a really good location. I did not run into any troubles

The location was excellent, very convenient for getting around. The studio was well-maintained, and equipped with nice appliances. The staff were extremely helpful—they stored our luggage before check-in and again after check-out so we could enjoy the city without hassle. The internet connection was reliable, and the TV worked perfectly with Chromecast, which was a big plus.

The bathroom occasionally had an unpleasant smell coming from the drains. Also, the standard cleaning schedule was only once per week unless requested otherwise, but we managed fine.

Pretty cool place next to the metro station. Nice and safe walkies to surrounding areas. The corner room was spacious and clean. Everyone smiley and helpful. Hot Pot place next to the hotel was really cool, so we changed our plans and went there, too.

There was one pillar next to bed which tried to kill us or at break our toe or hip :D There also was a buggy fire alarm which went off around 7 am. Fun. All they need to do is to turn the bed by 90 degrees and we are gucci. WiFi password wasn't on the TV as promised, but we were outside all the time, so we didn't bother.

The aesthetics of the original room were amazing. Even though the room was micro, it was very decent, especially just for 2 people. The bathroom was a good size with lots of room with a huge mirror with the addition of the Tv being in good potions and decent size. Staff members were very welcome, kind, and friendly, especially with our enquiries, surrounding the continuous high-pitched sound coming from our room. The staff were very accommodation allowed us to change rooms and enjoy our time at Buckle Street Studios. The replacement room was lovely as well very similar to our original room just slightly different shape in an L shape. The sleep was good, and the checkout time was a good time. The area was good surrounding by many food place and a nice coffee shop across the street.

The original room we were located in had a continuous high-pitched sound throughout the room.

Well-designed (aesthetic-wise), modern facilities with sleek lighting. The kitchenette was clean and although I didn’t get to use it, it’s good to know that it’s well-equipped with plates, glasses, mugs. I like that there’s a selection of teas readily available. Location is also quite central.

The lighting could be a bit of a hassle for some because not everything is connected to one switch. The space is just right for one traveler, but could be cramped if you’re two people. Lighting in the bathroom is too dark. A concept suggestion for lighting in the bathroom: a warm and dimmable lighting for ambiance, and bright white ring lights in the mirror.

Staff was excellent!!! Interacted with 3 of them and they were all so helpful, attentive and friendly. Place was super cute and cozy and clean. Good restaurants and pubs very close too.

The apartment was incredibly small and tight. Banged my elbow on the wall probably 5 times. Wife did too. When i say small and tight, i mean it. Luggage didn't have anywhere to go, just blocking either front door or bathroom, your choice. Had to move it and/or trip over it a lot. All in all a cute place tho. Just be warned that it is very tight moving around.

We really enjoyed our stay in our little studio. It was clean and comfortable with great facilities - strong shower, great heating, big fridge, etc. the location is absolutely perfect - the area itself has lots of options for eating out, and you are only a short walk away from fab shopping areas like the Spitalfields Market or Brick Lane. Right beside the underground station so getting to all major attractions was easy! Would stay again.

The layout of the studio is not ideal. The hall space between sleeping area and kitchen & toilet is very narrow. To get into the bed you have to climb , and if you want to use the couch , you have to climb over the bed. None of this was a major problem for two young and able-bodied people, but may be difficult for others. The lighting in front of the mirrors was very frustrating - the fixtures stick out from the mirror so if you are leaning in trying to do make-up/floss/shave etc you are in shadow. A small thing, but a very strange choice!

The Buckle Street studios are the perfect accommodation to spend a few days in the city: near the city centre, but far from its crowded and noisy streets. We were gladly surprised by the quiet environment. In addition, in the neighbourhood, you can find a tube station which takes you downtown in less than 20 minutes, a few supermarkets and restaurants, and it's close to one of the most remarkable landmarks of the city (Tower Bridge/Tower of London). Speaking of the studio itself, it has all the necessary amenities, beds are really comfortable, and the studio is cozy.

The check-in process was a bit weird because the worker who performed it was not much into making themselves understood, and it was not due to an issue of our understanding of the language. However, the other colleagues were really kind and efficient when solving an issue we had with the shower drain (especially Simona, who addressed this issue).
