The room and facilities were excellent, nothing was forgotten about. Doormen greeted us and took our bags which arrived into our room minutes after we did. Staff could not do enough to help, every aspect of the stay was explained and made as easy as possible, turndown staff left a note as we had switched on do not disturb beside the door while we got ready for dinner, this let us call down to tell them when we departed for dinner that evening The staff also made the trip incredibly special as it was our honeymoon. Asking about the wedding as well as small gestures to make every interaction special The discretionary service charge on the bill at the end was especially welcome as the staff were beyond amazing. It would have been nice to know about this before the stay to know if wee could/should tip staff, and also have some information on how tips are split between staff and the property

Could not fault the stay

The location of the hotel is excellent, just a short walk from Harrods, and backs on to Hyde Park. Loved the King's guardsmen parading past the hotel in Hyde Park, during breakfast, on their beautiful horses. The food at Heston's was exceptional. We had a suite which was lovely. Diptyque products were provided in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was, as to be expected, of a high quality. Absolutely loved both the Dyson hairdryer and GHD hair straighteners provided, as it saved me having to bringing my own.

The bathroom in our suite was disappointing as it was just too small.

Great location

I stayed with my wife at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park for my 50th birthday celebration and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the service was attentive without being overbearing. The location really is fantastic for tourists like us, right on the doorstep of Hyde Park, close to the West End for a show and of course Knightsbridge and Chelsea for shopping and dining. Whilst it is expensive, for a special occasion it was exceptional and we would love to return.

Bear in mind that of the £930 cost for the night, A large chunk of that is VAT! Everything was just perfect. The service is exceptional but discreet. The staff are clearly highly trained. What I particularly liked is that they were polite but not overly deferential. They quickly knew when to have a laugh or a bit of banter. You are paying for the quality of the entire experience. The staff, the beautiful building, the location.

The room was comfortable. Furnitures and wardrobes are very new and technological. Charging systems just near the bed well thought and designed. Bathroom can just be defined as perfect. The toilet is useful for all nationalities and its electronic. Bathroom amenities are fully in place. Breakfast has variety choice of options.

Room air condition system was not working properly. The price/benefit is quite high. Last minute compulsoey discretion fee apply on the invoice was not kind and not necessary. All visitors who stay on this hotel are well experienced and aware the proprieties. Incase they would like to share, they could share tip but not on that way. My room view was blind, looking into inside of the hotel hole. For that price that view was not fair.

Every member of staff was friendly,helpful and professional. Reception staff the extra mile when they found out it was our wedding anniversary. Every area of the property was immaculate, the floral displays outstanding. Made for an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

What’s not to like in this little slice of paradise. It’s an incredible hotel with a stunning interior and fabulous facilities. The service from the staff is extraordinary and on a completely different level.

I like the location, excellent service, lovely staff. A very special thanks to Miss Lina and her colleague Mr…. from the reception for her wonderful reception and kindness, as we arrived at the hotel early before chek-in time and we were tired from the trip. So, she gave us free breakfast for the first day until the rooms were ready, and she also gave us early check-in to the rooms. Also special thanks to the great hotel guard for his service, kindness and smily face.
