We used the hotel for a school group visit. The staff couldn’t do enough to help us Cihan the manager helped us organise a coach for a days out to Canilica and Eyüp. Breakfast cooked by Ablas was fantastic. They tried to vary the breakfast. Every morning was delicious. The hotel was warm. Showers were really powerful. The power Ayub came to say goodbye when we left. The children treated the hotel staff to a show of singing and dance. The location was so convenient. Basically we could walk everywhere. The shop next door sold most things that we needed and was a valuable asset to the school group. A local bakery was frequented every morning to pick up fresh bread. I have thought long and hard about what they could do to improve. I suggested they expand and they told me they were opening the Esve hotel. Fab people with a family touch. I have stayed a couple of times more. Keep up the great work Cihan and team.

The location was very convenient for touring the main attractions of Istanbul including Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace. The staff were very accommodating, especially Abdul. The breakfast was delicious and kitchen staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were adequate size and clean. Our family of 4 occupied adjoining rooms and really enjoyed our time living in Magnaura House while being tourists in Istanbul. This hotel is highly recommended for sightseeing in Istanbul.

The only part we did not like was having to leave and go home 😒

We stayed in a room with balcony ‘sea view’, although it’s a small hotel but super comfortable. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful when needed especially Arda and Salih. We love the hotel surrounding, small road with so many different restaurants, short few minutes walk to Hagia Sophia, blue mosque and topkapi palace, you can’t go wrong staying in this hotel at Sultan Ahmed area. It’s the second time we stayed there and definitely will book there again on our next visit to Istanbul.

More option with the hot food.

Very close to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia , Topkapi palace and Basilica cisterns. Friendly front of house staff, excellent and plentiful buffet breakfast that would suit most dietary requirements. The view from our room was spectacular. Nice comfy bed and good Aircon. You are right in middle of lots of lovely restaurants and take advice from the concierge. His suggestions were spot on. Local market in shadow of Blue Mosque well worth a visit.

Street can be noisy at night but the double glazing deadened the worst noise. Keep windows firmly closed.

Nice comfy bed, strong Aircon and nice views from the balcony. Excellent area for food, entertainment and also close to many tourist attractions. Helpful staff and were able to help me check in a little early.

Could have provided more in the bathroom, there was only cheap shower gel and shampoo. No toothbrush, toothpaste, comb or anything else you'd expect for this price. TV was outdated, not a smart TV for Netflix or YouTube and no English speaking channels. The WiFi was very weak, barely functioning in my room at times.

We recently with my family stayed at this hotel for 7 nights with breakfast included, and it was a fantastic experience from location that very close to Hagia Sophia and blue mosque also just a short walk to the tram station, staff were incredibly helpful and friendly Ekram and the one in night shift I forgot to ask his name always willing to help whatever ask them with smile and welcoming and provided us with map highlighted with the attraction place which made it easier to visit.. food was delicious 👌.. Also the hotel provided us with transfere from and to the airport with hassle free ..we had a great time and unforgettable experience I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and sure when back to Istanbul I will stay there again...

Nothing happy with all service provided

Staff are very helpful, polite and kind, I would like to thank them all. The room is clean and the decent in size. The best thing is the location, very close to all attractions, vibrant area and very safe

Breakfast is very limited compared to other breakfasts in Turkey, most of the days I skipped breakfast and ate somewhere outside because it lacks variety. The rooms has no enough sound proofing so it’s noisy specially during weekends sometimes, but over all I loved this hotel and it’s a family business that I would support again

The position of the hotel Is strategical with respect to attractions and transportation. It Is in a rather touristic but really nice neighborhood as well, with restaurants, convenience stores where you can buy Turkish SIM cards and other commodities. The hotel staff people are super kind and effettive in giving advices and solving issues. One general advice: buy the "Istanbul card" ASAP. It Is a transportation card wich allows you to use tram, buses, ferries. The "Sultanhamet" tram stop Is a 5 minutes walk away from the hotel and you can reach the whole city starting from there.

We booked a family room and a double room. The rooms were side by side as we requested. Both were quite spacious (bigger than the majority of the hotels) and well equipped. Shower and hot water were nice with good water pressure. The matresses on the beds were very confortable (medium/hard as we like). Cleaness was 5 stars with daily cleaning service and towels change. Wifi is also very good with enough speed and coverage of the bedrooms. Both bedrooms had heating system and Air conditioned. Free water and coffee on the bedrooms. The location of the hotel is perfect near a lots of restaurantes in the center of Sultanahmet area. Public transports (tram T1 line) is 400 meters from the hotel. For sure we'll return in a future and we can recomend this hotel.

The only things we can comment are: - Breakfast could have more varied although has the minimum required. - The soundproofing of the rooms could be better.

We stayed in the hotel for 10 days in September 2024 The location was vibrant and within a few minutes walking distance of the main attractions of the Sultanahmet It is next to many good restaurants providing delicious food at reasonable prices. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was kept immaculate, and the breakfasts most enjoyable with plenty of variety. The hotel lift is a great bonus. The view across the Bosphorus is wonderful. It was outstanding.
