The warm welcome and hospitality of our host Joelle and her lovely little dog Tommy, if we needed anything extra for the room nothing was too much trouble.........Merci. Our ground floor room was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable with a good quality TV, it contained a kitchenette unit with sink so we could prepare a simple meal if desired and the bathroom / toilet was also very clean with nice hot water every day. We had an excellent nights sleep every night as the house is situated in a very quiet residential street about 2 miles north of Nantes city centre.We never heard Joelle or Tommy in her home above us so the room must have sound insulation. The house is about a ten minute walk to the nearest tram stop; Motte Rouge on the number 2 line and it is a very short distance back into Nantes centre; the Commerse stop. There is a supermarket at the end of the street if visitors wish to purchase any snacks, milk, bread etc.

There is nothing not to like about the accommodation or the owner Joelle........everything was very nice. There are very few restaurants near the house, visitors would have to take the tram back to the city centre, however, this is an easy thing to do as the tramway is excellent.

The location is perfect, you are outside of the main streets but in the middle of the city after a 15 minute walk. The breakfast is great and the homemade jam is delicious. Our sweet host even mended a pair of our trousers after she saw they were damaged. All in all a great stay that I would recommend to anyone visiting Nantes!

The host is the best part of this B&B. She is so sweet and patient with my awful French. It felt like staying with my grandma. Everything was cozy and so welcoming. And the bathroom is really nice as well.

Everything was perfect. No complaints.

Joelle, the owner, is extremely nice and she is up to make a worthy visit. She explains to you about Nantes, where to go, how to move.

Her place is really clean and comfortable. The bathroom is very spacious and the things we wanted to visit where easy to move around.

3 min walk to bus, 10 min walk from tram, 5 min walk from intermarche express. The lady of the house is super welcoming and friendly, as is her little dog. I spoke very little French, and she had a little English, but managed conversation fine!

A peaceful atmosphere, a beautiful garden, a fine breakfast and, most importantly, an attentive hostess.
