Great location close to the train station, shops & restaurants, and a 15 min walk to the old town. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable

Just wish there was a hanging line or some way to hang dry our bikinis in the room on the window, i feel that would be helpful especially in summer

5€ for a towel rental is too much. Shouldn’t be more than 2€.

breakfast really simple, not many options, if you pick the top bunk it's difficult to get up, doesn't have a railing so it can be a little scary, but it can be managed, if you are scared of hights don't choose the top bunk.

Great for solo travelers, this hostel is just a 5-10 minute walk from the Nice-Ville train station. They offer a good variety of breakfast options for 8-10 Euros, including croissants, coffee, milk, cereal, fruits, eggs, chicken/ham slices, honey, dried fruits, and pancakes. The beach is a 30-minute walk or a 10-minute tram ride away. The staff is friendly, and the hostel is clean. It also features a foosball table, a table tennis table, and a 90s-era Tekken game.

The rooms are small with limited space, but they are clean. Ideal for solo travelers who plan to explore during the day and just need a bed at night. Remember to bring your own padlocks.

I booked Hotel OZZ for my Mom's winter trip and can recommend it to sophisticated senior travelers as absolutely perfect. The hotel is located in the heart of Nice, a stone's throw from the old town, Opera, Piazza Garibaldi, next to the train station. You can take the direct tram from/to the airport (L2, 12 stops, 27 minutes, JEAN MÉDECIN stop) and then get any travel advice at the front desk. The place is very clean and bright (and has an elegant Christmas tree) - true for the common and private areas. The receptionists are very professional and good-natured. We really hope that the municipality will pay these fine people a well-deserved bonus for the New Year. Hotel OZZ makes sophisticated travel reasonable. Special thanks to Léa, Julius, Victoria, Sebastian, Amin, Sarah! Sincerely happy to recommend this wonderful hidden treasure to family and friends and of course to return!

Absolutely nothing!

The location was really nice. It is located in a good area. Everything is reachable by foot. The staff was nice and really friendly. You get free filtered water and at check-in I even got a free soft drink. I stayed in a 4 bed female dorm and most of my stay we were only 3 people in the room. The bathroom is located inside the room and it was very clean. There were big lockers to store all your stuff.

It was a struggle to go up and down the bunks. The bunks weren‘t really clean. There were dead mosquitos all over the wall and in my bed there was stuff of the person staying there before me.

They have curtains for some privacy which was awesome! The breakfast is pretty good (ham, cheese, fruits, milk, cereals, eggs, bread, croissants, jam, hazelnuts cream, honey, juices). They provide earplugs for free which was a lifesaver. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great, close to public transportation.

They should have some rules like no lights in the rooms after 11 PM so if someone wants to sleep, they can. It was not the hostel’s fault but on my last night my roommates were super strange: they didn’t flush the toilet so it was pretty smelly at morning. One of them used my locker to hang his towels. When the man who slept in the bunk bed above me came down from the bed/went up to the bed jumped like he is a trampoline. I have no idea where he came from but for sure he did not care that someone is in the bottom bunk bed and wants to sleep. Thank God it was only one night.

Excellent hostel, very close to the railway station, not very far from the old city of Nice (around 20 minutes on foot). It was very clean and the staff was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was particularly nice, it was of good quality and the variety was quite wide. Also, there was a free coffee machine until 18:00, a free filtered water tap to fill your bottle and free earplugs at the reception.

I would recommend booking your stay directly via the hostel's official website as the price difference seems to be quite big if you book via Booking (for me it was around 20€ difference for three nights).

Good location, 10min walk from the Jean Médecin train station (for the airport) and a 4min walk to the Nice-Ville train station (for other destinations). The key card I was given didn't work 4 times and had to keep getting reset, sometimes more than once, for no apparent reason. The room was a decent size and had large lockers, which fit my large luggage nicely. The 3-tier bunks were very flimsy and the ladder for mine was crammed in between the other bunk, so you had to squeeze to climb up. Every small movement shook the whole bunk, rattled the corrigated plastic on the walls, and was felt by everyone. The bed had 1 plug and no shelving, along with no sides except one part near the pillow, so your things could fall down very easily, and there was a decent gap between the bed and the wall. There were curtains, which was great, but the long side did have a gap, which was annoying (photo). The bathroom was very small and the bathmat had stains. The shower pressure was good, but had an uneven temperature. You had to get a hair-dryer from reception, but they were given out and not returned for hours, so there were not enough, and there was no effort made to ensure they came back. There were no cooking facilities, but there was free still/sparkling water and a free coffee machine. For having a bar, the hostel was very quiet, and there was plenty of space in the communal area. There was 1 toilet in the communal area, and 2 urinals with no door, which were right next to the toilet. They provided free earplugs, which was great.

Everything is very clean and nicely maintained. It was my 2nd time here - all things are kept as good as new. Mattress is comfi, beds are super clean. Tea and coffee available all day - which made my stay very comfortable (especially since the weather wasn't good). Microwave and dishes/knives /forks/spoons at your disposal.

No fridge. The lower bed ceiling is too low to sit up - hit my head several times :( Although the bathroom was very clean, there was a cockroach smell from sewage or from ventilation. Could add a rubber mat or towel on the floor in the bathroom.
