Great location close to the train station, shops & restaurants, and a 15 min walk to the old town. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable

Just wish there was a hanging line or some way to hang dry our bikinis in the room on the window, i feel that would be helpful especially in summer

5€ for a towel rental is too much. Shouldn’t be more than 2€.

This is a great location right in between the train station and the beach. The shopping street Jean Medecin is a few blocks away as well as the tram line 1. Can walk to the old town and the beach easily. The place is well organized and clean. Each person has a numbered storage space that can be locked with a padlock as well. I stayed in a 3-person dorm room, and my favorite thing was having an attached bathroom (shower/toilets both). There were Air Conditioning as well. The staff was helpful and friendly. There is a decent breakfast for a reasonable additional price. Check-in was smooth, and they even let me in a little early because the room was ready. Definitely worth the money in such a central location with such amenities.

The only issue I had was the trunk bed. They were less spacious vertically and made so much noise whenever one person was moving around. I think it was because the mattresses were stiffer, and the whole bed would shake when one person moved around. However, the beds are as advertised on the pictures. A dorm room might not be the option if you want to sleep well/rest well.

Very close to the train station, a short walk to the beach. Local food and shopping options. Tram and train very close by. Property itself it exactly what you want from a hostel. Bar and cafe, working area, lift and stairs to rooms. Rooms are the best arrangement I’ve experienced in Nice (I stayed in three hostels). Rooms have a nice open space for sitting. My rooms (I stayed in two different rooms) both had a balcony. There is lots of room to move around, most hostels are cramped between bunks. The bunks at OZZ are stacked so you have more room. Power supply and light on each bed and good privacy curtains too!

Sink taps are a little too small and close to wall. A bath mat should be supplied as the floor gets wet after every shower.

I have nothing but good things to say about Ozz! It’s clean, in a good spot right next to Nice-Ville train station, so day trips are super easy. Plenty of great boulangeries and restaurants nearby and the staff were great. We showed up at 10pm after a long travel day to find the dorms had been overbooked. The staff upgraded us to our own private rooms, which made us so happy on an otherwise long and tiring day! The social aspect of the hostel wasn’t as lively as we’d hoped but everybody was nice and the hostel staff let us know about bar crawls and other events happening while we were there. Cheap beers too, which kept us Aussies happy. Will be back :)

breakfast really simple, not many options, if you pick the top bunk it's difficult to get up, doesn't have a railing so it can be a little scary, but it can be managed, if you are scared of hights don't choose the top bunk.

Firstly, the location was perfect! The hostel is situated literally not even 5 minutes from train station and not far from city center or beach. The staff was very helping and friendly. The dorms were nice looking and comfy, really appriciate the curtains for more privacy. When I needed hairdryer the lady at reception willingly lended me one. There was inconvenience during my return at night, because of my lost wallet and thus the roomcard, but staff handled it great.

It is pity that you have to pay 5 euros for towels if you dont have one by yourself. Just a small thing to add is that the breakfast could be better to be honest, not much of variety, nearly only pastries.

I booked Hotel OZZ for my Mom's winter trip and can recommend it to sophisticated senior travelers as absolutely perfect. The hotel is located in the heart of Nice, a stone's throw from the old town, Opera, Piazza Garibaldi, next to the train station. You can take the direct tram from/to the airport (L2, 12 stops, 27 minutes, JEAN MÉDECIN stop) and then get any travel advice at the front desk. The place is very clean and bright (and has an elegant Christmas tree) - true for the common and private areas. The receptionists are very professional and good-natured. We really hope that the municipality will pay these fine people a well-deserved bonus for the New Year. Hotel OZZ makes sophisticated travel reasonable. Special thanks to Léa, Julius, Victoria, Sebastian, Amin, Sarah! Sincerely happy to recommend this wonderful hidden treasure to family and friends and of course to return!

Absolutely nothing!

Great for solo travelers, this hostel is just a 5-10 minute walk from the Nice-Ville train station. They offer a good variety of breakfast options for 8-10 Euros, including croissants, coffee, milk, cereal, fruits, eggs, chicken/ham slices, honey, dried fruits, and pancakes. The beach is a 30-minute walk or a 10-minute tram ride away. The staff is friendly, and the hostel is clean. It also features a foosball table, a table tennis table, and a 90s-era Tekken game.

The rooms are small with limited space, but they are clean. Ideal for solo travelers who plan to explore during the day and just need a bed at night. Remember to bring your own padlocks.

They have curtains for some privacy which was awesome! The breakfast is pretty good (ham, cheese, fruits, milk, cereals, eggs, bread, croissants, jam, hazelnuts cream, honey, juices). They provide earplugs for free which was a lifesaver. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great, close to public transportation.

They should have some rules like no lights in the rooms after 11 PM so if someone wants to sleep, they can. It was not the hostel’s fault but on my last night my roommates were super strange: they didn’t flush the toilet so it was pretty smelly at morning. One of them used my locker to hang his towels. When the man who slept in the bunk bed above me came down from the bed/went up to the bed jumped like he is a trampoline. I have no idea where he came from but for sure he did not care that someone is in the bottom bunk bed and wants to sleep. Thank God it was only one night.
