Clean and walking distance to most iconic areas

We stayed at Hotel 66 for 4 days and 3 nights and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is clean and modern, and while the room isn't particularly large, it’s comfortably spacious for two people with a big 30-inch suitcase. A mini fridge would have been a great addition—especially during the hot summer months in Nice—so we could store cold drinks or ice cream. One of the standout aspects was the helpful and friendly reception team. Two of the staff members were especially fantastic, offering us great travel tips and suggestions for places to visit. The location is ideal if you're planning to travel by train, as it's right next to Nice Ville station. While it's about a 20-minute walk to the beach and Old Town, there are still some lovely dining options nearby, including seafood restaurants, relaxed cafés, and even a good Vietnamese spot.

The location is perfect for taking the train, but I like to walk in the city. So, next time, I prefer to stay in the centre of the city, and take uber to the train station.

As soon as I walked in to the hotel I was greeted by Abdulaziz (I think his name, I don’t actually remember) but he knew who I was as soon as I walked in. The hotel was in a good location, 10 minute walk to the promenade. Although the surrounding area is not the best the Main Street is quite dirty but the location is still central and in walking distance of the main promenade. (This is nothing to do with the hotel itself, which was very good!) Even the complimentary water was a nice touch.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Nice. The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, always eager to assist with any information we needed. A special thanks to Esther and Eveglen at the reception for their exceptional service. Chef Mohemod was also very welcoming and made our experience even more enjoyable. The hotel offers 24-hour free coffee and complimentary bottled water, which is a great touch. The breakfast is delicious and reasonably priced. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and amenities.

The thing I liked the most was that it was very quiet during the night and I was able to sleep very well (my room was facing the inner yard, but the walls are definitely soundproofed, as you cannot hear anything from the rooms next to you). The bed and the pillows were also very comfortable and cosy. I liked the fact that tea was always available for free downstairs and you could bring it to your room and enjoy it after a long day of walking. All in all, very good option for an accommodation in Nice, next to the train station and close to the heart of the city.

Not a big issue (mostly because I was able to solve it myself), but the toilet was loosing some water and every 3-5 minutes you would hear a sudden and strong noise of water refilling the tank for 2-3 seconds. But I was able to turn it off the water connection during the night and then turn it on in the morning.

To give you a little context, this was the only hotel that I booked in my 2 week trip in Europe. I stayed in hostels most of the time and thought of booking a hotel in my last destination which was Nice so I can relax and get the experience that I want. And it was the best decision that I have made! The staff are all warm and accommodating. The property was very clean and modern. My room was in decent size and very comfortable. It has all the things that I need during my stay. Breakfast was really good too and I enjoyed it. The hotel is also near the train and tram stations which made it easier to roam around. Will highly recommend this hotel to everyone who will visit the French Riviera. I will surely book this again once I’m back in the area.

Bed was not very comfortable. Mattress was sagging in. Location is both good and bad. Depends on what the purpose of your visit is. It’s is very close to the train station, so if you’re planning to take a train every day, it’s perfect. However it’s a shady area and 20 minutes walk from the coastline. So you need to make an effort to reach the beach. Not like a 5 minute walk

i booked a junior suite with balcony, and it was really nice; the room was spacious and the balcony very convenient. I liked the room cause it was not cluttered, i.e. few (nice and useful) furniture. Beds were relatively comfortable, but the duvet was too warm for my taste (I think the filling was polyester). Rooms were cleaned every day. Breakfast was good. Personnel was very kind and helpful. Location was good, next to the train station, which was very practical cause our main destination was Monaco. Surprisingly enough the area around the train station was rather decent.

a coffee machine and maybe a small fridge would be nice (unless it was there and I didnt' see it)
