They clean the room daily throughly, change the towels and do everything right. The beds are really comfortable and the soundproofing of the rooms are quite good, you might hear the neighbours on the hallway if they make a lot of noise, but at night it is perfect for resting. The room is small but is simply more than enough if you re in nice for visiting and also you have a desk. The tv has cable but no internet, but thats not a big problem. The location is amazing, very close to the main boulevard, very close to the train station (like 2 minutes away) but there is absolutely no noise. A lot of shops restaurants and caffes nearby. Recommend!

The best option if you are looking for a clean comfortable room near the center. The Central station was a road above, very convienent for me, who I was travelling to other near by cities most of my stay. I recommend going to Cannes, Adibes and Monaco, they are all about 20-30 mins in the train, very beautiful and scenic places by the French Riviera. The shower was very good, they were changing our towels every day which was a good service but a bit excessive. I believe its not the most eco friendly solution, we can use the same towel a couple times.

The location is perfect—close to the train station and with easy access to the city center and the beach. The room was clean and comfortable, making my stay very enjoyable. One of the things I appreciated the most was the housekeeping service. The room was cleaned daily, and fresh towels were provided regularly, which made the experience even better. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable hotel in a great location in Nice, Hotel Trocadero is a perfect choice. The location is amazing - next to the main train station so it's super easy to travel to Monaco, Cannes, Menton, Antibes. The tram to the airport is located about 10' walking and the city beach about 20' away. The district is surprisingly quiet by night and safe. You can order the delicious breakfast for 8€/pax. The building is open 24/7 do you can access with hotel card anytime. Truly recommended. The price was more than reasonable taking into account all facilities.

The private bathroom was tiny and we need to squeeze. Certain parts of the hotel require refurbishment.

This is my 3rd time staying here, some of the recent negative reviews made me a little concerned that it had gone downhill. However, the staff were helpful, the rooms were clean and the hotel is well located for transport links. Yes the roads around the hotel lack the glamour of the old town, yes the facilities are quite basic and the rooms could maybe do with a touch-up of paint here and there, but the overall feel is clean and tidy. This time we were lucky enough to get a room on the top floor, this had a more modern and airy feel than those we stayed in previously. Those with numerous negative remarks need to consider the price point of this hotel before criticising it's facilities, window size or wifi speed. Ultimately if you want a hotel that gives you those top level service extras in an expensive city to visit then be prepared to pay more. Overall we were very pleased with another lovely stay here and would stay again.

The only constructive criticism is there was no extractor fan in the fairly small bathroom which did mean after showering that was a bit of a damp smell but this cleared after airing the room for a short while.

Amazing location is the biggest selling point. Right next to the train station, 1 stop away from the Airport. Short train ride to any Azure coast city. Tram and bus stations right around the corner as well, dozens of different places to eat and get takeout. Room was good. Decent size, very comfy bed. Nice shower in the bathroom.

Room could have had more amenities, I think adding a mini fridge would be reasonable. Some noise from the street below, but not too bad.

The hotel was great for the price. The room was clean, and the bathroom had towels, soap, and shower gel. The heating worked really well, so it was nice and cozy. It’s close to the train station and not far from the city center.

The only thing I didn’t like was that there wasn’t a kettle in the room, and we only got one towel each. Also, two duvets instead of one would’ve been much better.

The 4 of us stayed at this hotel for a night before he had to leave to the airport next day. We booked this hotel due to its close proximity from the train station as we arrived to Nice by train. Our room was on the top floor and consisted of 2 rooms with rooftop views. Clean, cozy, air conditioned. Let us relax and rest after long day of walking in the heat. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, however it is provided for additional pay. Staff was pleasant and booked a taxi for us to take us to the airport in the morning. Overall, we had very positive experience with this place.
