The room is above the best little bar by night,( surprisingly quiet)and the best ( cheapest) coffee for breakfast. Your host also operates a fabulous pizza/ pasta ( wood fired oven) venu across the narrow street.location close to subway trains that get you to all the major tourist destinations. Hosts very helpful, our French wasn't great, speaking English made staying there a breeze. Rooms a little small, but comfortable, and hot showers. Definitely recommend

Everything, location location location! Nice decor, spacious rooms, comfy beds and great staff! Has a tapas bar downstairs open till late with a long happy hour! Surrounded by beautiful boulangeries, cafes and more bars and restaurants. Walking distance to the main attraction and close to public transport. You couldn't ask for anything else!

Nothing, but we had the room on floor 5 which was 5 stories by stairs. The room was quite hot due to the heat wave but it had a fan which did the job.

Despite some bad reviews, I decided to give it a try and I must confess that I was surprised. Everything worked out perfectly. Check-in was easy and the room was clean/organized. The shared bathroom was also clean. Really do not have any complaints and think it is a great offer considering the price/service. P.S. It is worth mentioning that I rented a private room. Don't know how the shared bedrooms are like.

Not much to say. Think it'd be good to have a mirror in the bedroom as well (in instead of only the shared bathroom). Also, I noticed there was no A.C. When I was there, the temperature was comfortable. Don't know how it is during summer time...

The location is perfect. You only need 1 train to travel between the airport and Paris. There is a great choice of great places to eat. The cleaning of the hostel was a variant that keep me relaxed. It’s a very old building. It has gone through many improvements and renovations. You need to have attention to the stairs and also have no physical limitations to get to the upper floors.

I stayed in a room with a private bathroom. There is a water heating system that limits the use of hot water. So it is not working for 2 people to use the shower for sequential baths time. It has always taken a wait of more than 40 minutes between one bath and another for the hot water box to be ready for a new round of bathing. The internet is terrible. You simply can’t happen anything on her. In the room the 5G signal was almost non-existent.

Good sized room, with everything that we needed. The layout of the room is a bit weird as you get in through the toilet but that wasn’t a problem for us. That was a party going on at the street but we couldn’t hear from the room. The days we spent in Paris were hot but the room wasn’t so the fan was enough for us. The location is very central and we would stay there again as a budget option.

Clean cosy room, quiet even with other guests around. Shared bathroom was nice and clean. Staff are wonderful: polite and friendly, accommodating as much as possible. Great central location, I’d absolutely stay here again.

A mirror in the room would be good 😊 very small room, no windows which was a shame but the location more than made up for it. Price was good for central Paris!

It was extremely well located and the staff were very kind. The cost of the accomodation was incredible for where you’re located and how close it is to facilities such as the metro and dining. They also have a cat living at the property that was a highlight for us. He was such a little cherub and we felt like the vibe of the place was improved by his presence. Highly recommend!

The bathroom whilst clean had a damp smell. It was a shared bathroom so we didn’t expect much and it was fine for the price you pay for the property. The damp smell wasn’t in the room so we weren’t majorly affected until we wanted to use the bathroom but it mostly felt like a ventilation issue.

The location is very nice, almost near all the tourist attractions (only a 10-minute walk to the Musee de Louvre). The neighbourhood is very hustle and bustle, and you won't be afraid to go home after 9. With this price and area, I would say it's a good stay. The cat is super cute and friendly~

The wifi wasn't working at all during my stay, even a 240p YouTube video. And about the toilet, you have to accept a shared toilet. You also have to get used to not throwing any issues to the flush. Fortunately, I don't smell anything next to my room. It's acceptable but of coz not the best case.

We arrived, I guess the person we met was the owner and he seemed to care! The room is basic but for the price and the location who cares! We slept well!

The location is simply too good to pass up. You are right in the center of the city and getting around by walk is absolutely an option for many of the city's attractions. Also there is a metro station right there with good connections. Even though we didn't have the breakfast they offered, they still gave out free snacks which helped fuel our trip. Although the room was a little dusty, the shared bathroom was always immaculate.

The walls of the room were a horrid chartreuse, but it made the whole situation of being in a 6m2 space much funnier (I'm kidding it's really quite fine). The floor in the room was a little dirty but it's all just part of the experience.
