The staff was warm and helpful. The hotel is walking distance to The Louvre, les Champs-Elysees, Bourse du commerce,... The Metro is 2 minutes away. Plenty of Bristros, boulangeries, stores in the neighborhood

Just one night in Paris and this hotel was great! The room was lovely, clean, fresh and just had a really nice feel. It was comfortable and suited our family needs. We also enjoyed the breakfast which was a last minute addition that we are very glad to have added! A stand out for us were the staff, they were extremely friendly and helpful :)

Probably a little far from the attractions we were visiting and the lift was tiny which made carrying luggage a bit arduous but it wouldn't stop me from staying again!

This is our third time staying at this hotel. It is a fantastic place with an interesting history. Great staff, great service, good breakfasts. The location is perfect - close to the metro! There are many attractions nearby, as well as shops and restaurants. The room was perfectly clean, everything we needed was available, the cleaning was top notch. I especially liked the attention we received at any time, the professionalism and smiles of all the staff. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in every way. When we checked out, they continued to help us and ensured the safety of our luggage for several hours, for which my husband, daughter and I are very grateful. Thank you very much for these wonderful days in a wonderful environment. We plan to return to this wonderful place!

All the reviews are absolutely correct - this is an excellent hotel for many reasons!

The breakfast buffet was good. It had a wide variety of choices. The front desk staff was professional and helpful. The remodeled shower had strong water pressure, had both a rain head and hand nozzle. It was also a decent size.

The hot water heater was not working sometimes. Fortunately, it wasn’t off for very long. The hotel staff was extremely responsive and tried to promptly fix the problem each time.

The hotel is located in an excellent place, close to the bus station and the metro. There are many restaurants and patisseries nearby. The rooms are bigger than the usual in Paris. The stuff were amazing!!! Helpful and kind.

On Saturday night there was noise from the street until 2:00 am, perhaps better to ask for a room that doesn't face the street.

An Oasis of Competence and Kindness Amidst the Chaos of Travel Following a rather harrowing experience at another establishment (which shall remain nameless for now, though its memory lingers like the scent of mildew in a neglected corridor), we found ourselves in urgent need of refuge—and I am delighted to say that we found it here. Despite the remarkably short notice—mere hours, in fact—this hotel managed not only to accommodate us but to fulfil every request with remarkable efficiency and warmth. We were welcomed with genuine courtesy, not the performative kind, and immediately felt like guests rather than problems to be processed. The air conditioning, I must say, deserves particular mention. It was not merely functioning—it was wonderful. Crisp, cool, and a blessed relief after the overheated inferno we had just left behind. The room was immaculate. Not just superficially clean, but properly maintained. There was a reassuring sense that someone cared about the space being presented to us. No frayed towels, no grimy corners—just the quiet dignity of a well-kept room. What truly elevated the stay, however, was the attention to hospitality detail—something so often promised in brochures and yet rarely delivered. We were permitted to leave our luggage at reception well ahead of check-in time, which made an enormous difference with a young child in tow. A travel cot was set up promptly despite no advance notice, and they even offered us overnight use of the baggage area to store a pram, freeing up valuable space in the room. These are small gestures, perhaps, but they speak volumes about the thoughtfulness behind them. The television included Chromecast functionality—an underrated amenity that allowed us to stream our favourite shows with ease. Frankly, more hotels should take note. It’s such a simple addition that makes a world of difference when travelling, particularly with a family.

The hotel is based near Paris’ zone for sex workers. That’s not the fault of the hotel and that is just an observation but it should be noted should future guests consider it an issue. Having said that, the location was nice and central and in a nice part of Paris and I never felt unsafe

Modern decoration with a unified style, simple and beautiful. The room is a little bit small but it might be normal in such a Metropolitan, and the bed is very comfortable. The location is good, at least 3 Metro lines around, all within a 5-minute walk, makes you can go to any famous sightseeing in Paris easily. The staff were friendly and high efficient, tried to meet any requests of the guests, even allowed us to store luggage for one more day after checkout, which was a great help to us!

It should have been deserved a higher score, but an incredible event occurred. Although the staffs responded effectively and we accepted it (becasue don't want to waste time on it), to be honest, that shouldn't have happened. And besides apologizing, other statements are a little bit lack of sincerity.

Friedly, welcoming hotel, very clean, nice (but small) room, good bed, functional and clean bathroom. Very friendly personnel. Attractive location, with good bars and restaurants around. Fast and stable WiFi.

Well, the room was rather small (that is normal for Paris) and the rate was high (probably due to the rugby world championship). Rather loud if you slep with open window. Parking offered in a close-by garage is also quite costly.

The room and bathroom was great size knowing regular size rooms in Paris. Very comfortable bed and pillows - we like firm bed and flat pillows. The reception was always polite and kind. Location- next to the metro station, bakery, shops and good restaurants.

Breakfast- so small place, you can't get to your table. Selection not very good if you are gluten intolerant, also very small choice of fresh items (cucumber, tomatos, etc). The idea of leaving your room key is great not to get pickpocket and loosing everything from your room, but once we had a situation when nobody was at the reception and we had to take our room key ourselves.

The hotel seems to be founded a long time back -16 th century noted and renovated to this era , location was good since it’s near to Paris City Centre attractions, nice bistro nearby , Strasbourg denis metro is only a few minutes walk , friendly reception desk , family friendly hotel I believe with good housekeeping team and a healthy menu in breakfast thought not Great in variety .

A bit expensive, may be they charge for it’s location in la Marais , but please look for deals in booking com as price keep changing , I was lucky I could get a good deal near the arrival check in date , cancelled and rebooked again , overall a safe and homely stay along with family/ kids
