This is my favourite hotel in Paris. Location could not be better: it is tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac in the very heart of the old city. Access to Notre Dame, the Seine, the restaurants of the left bank, the Louvre and many other museums and art galleries are all easily walkable. There’s a good Italian almost next door, a mini market around the corner for buying forgotten items or getting a baguette and cheese to eat on the banks of the Seine, and a taxi rank within 100 meters. The hotel is small and still has its long history in its architecture. The front desk staff are capable, fluent in multiple languages, nice and very helpful. The rooms are cleaned daily. There was fresh lemon-infused water in the lobby for parched guests coming in from the recent heat wave. The air conditioning and sound proofing are good. On this recent stay a small problem with the bathroom door not closing was solved by changing our room and also calling a handyman to fix the door so no one else would be inconvenienced by it.

Hôtel le Clos de Notre Dame has truly become our home away from home in Paris. The staff are exceptionally helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure a seamless and pleasant stay. Check-in is consistently smooth and efficient, setting the perfect tone from the moment we arrive. The location is simply unbeatable. Situated close to fantastic bars, restaurants, transport links, and historic sites, it offers the ideal base to explore Paris. Despite its central location, the hotel is tucked away on a quiet back street, guaranteeing a peaceful night's sleep, free from any traffic noise. The rooms are immaculately clean, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable, making it a delight to return to after a day of sightseeing. This hotel is so outstanding that it has become our default choice whenever we stay in Paris. We cannot recommend Hôtel le Clos de Notre Dame highly enough—it is a true gem! We are back in Mar!

Excellent location for exploring central and outskirts of Paris. The room was compact , as expected but comfortable and met all needs.

The breakfast was convenient but not such a good experience as going out to a cafe and getting served. The information re distance from St Michel Metro was helpful but clear instructions could have been more helpful. Particularly as newcomers to Paris. For example , information re what line to take from Gard du Nor station and which exit from the Metro would have saved us a lot of stress and time !

Excellent location. Walking distance to many tourist sites such as Notre Dame Cathedral and Louvre. Metro / RER station was very close for sites of further distance. Many good restaurants and souvenir shopping nearby. Hotel was off busy roads but still very convenient. A/C and elevator

Our room was tiny (by US standards) and did not have a window with a view which would have been nice but wasn't a deal breaker by any means. The breakfast seemed pricey for what was available but there are plenty of options nearby.

The hotel has a great location near a parking garage, and bus and metro as well as within walking distance of Notre Dame. All the staff were very helpful and Friendly. There was a good selection for breakfast with Nespresso coffee pods offered. Our bedroom and bath were comfortable.

It is not possible to pull one’s car up in front of the hotel as the small alley is closed to cars. Luckily, the nearby street had little traffic and the hotel staff helped us with our luggage. I had been reassured that the hotel had an elevator and indeed there is a small one but to reach it one must navigate seven steep steps and most rooms require a few steps to get from the elevator to the room. The hotel is in a narrow medieval building and most rooms are very small. One which we were offered on the fifth floor without steps from the elevator had the bed placed against the wall making it impossible to have a table on that side or to get out of bed without crawling over one’s partner. Happily the staff found us a larger room on the third floor.

The location was fantastic, close to hundreds of cafes and restaurants around St Michel, but incredibly quiet as it was on a pedestrian only street. The Metro was 200m away so it was easy to get around to see the sights. The bed was really comfortable, the shower had excellent pressure and the tv had English channels if you needed a news fix! The staff were really welcoming and very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very small room so couldn’t have cases out, but this is very typical for Paris.

I travelled with my elderly grandmother and the hotel provided an excellent room connected to the lobby, and with disability facilities, making it a very comformtable stay for her. The hotel is in a quiet street, and the night was perfectly silent, depite being in a lively quarter. Breakfast was very good, and I felt the small hotel had a very cozy and personnable approach that made our stay in the centre all the more memorable.

The bed and room are relatively small, but that is to be expect in a location like this.

The location is perfect. It's right in the center of Saint Germain right off the Seine amid all the hustle and bustle. When we were dropped off right on the corner amid the crowds, we walked maybe a hundred yards to the hotel's front door between 2 buildings next to a quaint Italian restaurant. It became suddenly quiet on a serene street. If you're going for just a few nights in Paris, this would be the place to arrive late in the evening, drop your bags, and walk to dinner.

Lovely boutique Hotel in the Latin Quarters of Notre Dame. We had everything we needed,it was close to the Metro station. Walking distance to Notre Dame, Shakespeare Bookshop, beautiful garden, River Seine. Front desk very polite & helpful. Water whenever you needed it. Had a kettle in room. Overall we would stay again here. Fell in love with Paris 🗼

Little bit noisy in the early hours of one morning at 4am sounded like dustman but we slept with our windows open rather than close with Air Conditioning.

Excellent location. Walking distance to many tourist sites such as Notre Dame Cathedral and Louvre. Friendly and attentive staff. Our room was small, but comfortable and had everything we needed. The elevator does not reach the first floor, but I got help with my bag. Talking to the staff, they said they have a comfortable and accessible room available on the ground floor, which is also larger than the other rooms.
