My daughter and I had a nice stay at hotel Lux Picpus. We stayed 3 nights in the 9m2 room on the 4th floor. The room was small but cosy, clean, a nice bed (140x200cm) extra pillows in the closet, cleaning + clean towels everyday, airconditioning, a television, a window with a nice view on the Parisian houses and the boulevard Picpus. The tiny bathroom however was a challenge :) At 2 min across the street you will find metrostation Picpus (line 6) From this stop it takes about 30 minutes to, for example the Eiffel tower,  Galeries Lafayette/ Printemps) The hotel is in a safe neigbourhood with different restaurants like Le Cosy Picpus, Mae Poke and a Carrefour to go supermarket etc. The last day of our stay the elevator did not worked. The reception informed us and offered to pick up our luggage to carry downstairs. Excellent service! The Uber from Gare du nord was 24,00 euro. But you can take bus 56 in front of the hotel directly to Gare du Nord. Check in is at 15.00h but you can leave your luggage at the reception. A next trip to Paris I would book this hotel definitely again.

Very friendly and professional staff, clean and comfortable room. Nice A/C which is a must in hot summer days given the small size of the room. Location is very convenient (XII arr., short walk to Place de la Nation), quiet street and nice view. They let us check in at 1pm and let us leave the luggage after check-out on the last day. Good value for money. All in all, very positive experience.

Soundproofing could be better - you can hear lots of noises from other rooms. Also, our room was very small (9 m2); we were prepared to it and it's quite normal in Paris, but it could be a problem if you are a big person.

The staff were really helpful and pleasant. The location had a lot of restaurants and close to a metro station (Nation). The breakfast spread was not the best but really good. The room also had a tea/coffee maker and the service was so good to replace the towel and refill the amenities each day.

It was mentioned that the room had sound proofing, but in the room we stayed, we could hear even when my neighbor opens his/her door. And it was causing a lot of disturbance late night since the neighbors come in and go. The lift is small, with a suitcase only 2 persons can use it at a time. The stairs are narrow too. considering the building to be old, they cannot be fully considered as a problem.

Comfortable room and great staff. I got a corner room so my room was spacious and did not feel cramped. Bathroom was lovely and well appointed, amenities were great. The location is 2-7 minutes from two metro stations, buses and the RER airport transfer. I never felt unsafe walking home at night and enjoyed my interaction with the front desk workers regularly.

This was out of their control but it was sometimes noisy at night, the hotel is older so you can hear other guests. You aren’t right in the centre of Paris but it does feel like a true Parisian Neighbourhood, something I really appreciated.

Amazing staff, clean rooms and I love the old style. Many people mention that the small rooms are a negative thing but this is known in advance when you book the room. I personally think it makes the room cozy. The bathroom is pretty new with very nice shower heads. The location was great and the rooms are exactly what we needed. We were anyway outside most of the time to expore the amazing city of Paris. Also I was happy to have my car parked at a secure place, locked in a garage box.

In advance, it was not very clear that the garage boxes are as small as they are. When we arrived, they asked whether we have a big car or not. We have a small SUV. It fitted just fine but it was a bit tricky to get out of the car. If you have a normal size SUV or bigger, or a station wagen, I am not sure if it will still fit in the garage box.

The hotel is great, nice location, close to metro stations, very nice, communicative and safe area of Paris. Friendly staff, clean rooms. I am satisfied with our stay.

The only thing I can mention as a negative part is that the room was very small and causes a little bit of discomfort to us, especially the bathroom. But overall, it was nice.

The location was in a pleasant, quiet neighborhood, with very good access to public transit. The staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had decent pressure even on the 7th floor. The room was exactly as represented and perfectly suitable for one person, although it would probably be a bit small for two. Except for a night when there were some noisy neighbors, it was very quiet.

Hotel is 1 minute walk to station Picpus(line 6) and 10 minutes walk to station Nation( line 1.2,9 ). Carrefour market is very close, there are also restaurants and in the area. There is a private parking which requires reservation. The staff is very friendly. The room is very small so it is just for sleeping, ours had a French balcony with a view. We stayed as a family of 4 in 2 rooms, the rooms were places close as we requested, bed was comfortable.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. They very graciously gave my older parents an upgrade on their room so they had more space. The hotel was a good size and it has a great location in a neighborhood that has everything you need. It was so nice to be away from the tourists and crowds. A ten minute walk to all the train lines.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The highlight for me was the incredibly friendly and caring staff — they were always helpful and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The location is also excellent: quiet, yet very convenient with easy access to the metro. It made getting around the city simple and stress-free. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
