Breakfast and the location of breakfast were excellent. It's so nice to have natural light in the room to start the day. The breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff was also very friendly, spoke English, and was patient in letting me speak some French. The bathroom had more than average (for Europe) counter space as well as additional shelving. The hotel location was convenient for walking or taking the Metro to points of interest and within a short walk of many cafes and restaurants.

Having traveled to Paris many times, I am aware of the small size of hotel rooms. So, we booked a superior room, but it was still very small with room only for one suitcase (on the floor of the bay window). We unpacked some things into the few drawers and closet shelves and then had to stack our suitcases on top of each other. The fitness center provided only minimal equipment, enough to do a basic weights or cardio workout though.

The Hotel is truly a 5 Star experience. We had been here previously for one night and later in the same year booked 4. Our room was the penthouse, it has an unbelievable patio to watch the Eiffel Tour change continuously day and night. You can also see Sacré Coure lite up beautifully on the north end of the city. The room is not large by American standards but you must recall, this is Paris! We used the refrigerator to chill various foods and cheeses. The staff by the way is 5+ old world sincere and dignified. They truly enjoy serving your needs! Try Room 801! It will be a memorable experience it you love Paris!

In an age of mediocrity and faux luxuries real manners and elegance is hard to aspire to. But, the Pont Royal not only meets these exceptional expectations but in direct relationships to their staff - exceeds it. We personally stayed in the Penthouse, Room 801. I would say we are not spoiled “penthouse people” by a long shot, but rather respectful travelers used to more humble accommodations. However, if you want to experience some of the best that Paris can offer then I suggest you look no further and book here. The view of the Eiffel on one side and Sacre Cour on the other is timeless beauty and enduring Parisian class from our balcony. Welcome to a hotel that can assist you to experience the greatest city on Earth!

Absolutely nothing.

The location is convenient since it is in the middle of Paris, making it easy to get anywhere easily. Breakfast staff is always welcoming and happy to provide any extra coffee as desired. Staff at the front desk including the welcoming porters, are very helpful, especially when needing to get taxis during difficult times or restaurant reservations.

THE STAFF! The staff was amazing. Very helpful. I lost my passport and they helped me navigate printing my forms. The location was amazing and very central to the Saint Germain-Des-Pres neighborhood. The Louvre and Musee D'Orsay were walking distance as well a couple train stations. The room was spacious enough and had A/C. We were able to have drinks and coffee on our little balcony during our stay as well.

The only thing I thought was missing was a "business center". I did not anticipate needing one but I did. Thankfully the staff was very helpful and more than compensated in my situation.

The location was perfect, staff was friendly and the facility was very clean

The bed. It was hot while I was there and while the air conditioning worked well the bedding — a mattress topper, a flannel fitted sheet on top of it and a heavy comforter for a top sheet — meant that the bed itself was really hot.

Everything. Perfect location, a walk from Louvre, Saint Germain, etc, with the best staff ever. I had the best experience at my stay in Paris, my room was also beautiful, facing the Eiffel tower and Montmartre, I could also see the obelisc from Place de la Concorde and the top of the Triumph Arch from my balcony. The staff is the nicest and more helpful ever, they also provide with the best service in town. I am sure I will be back.

Near Orsay Museum, Saint-Germain etc - very good location. Air-conditioning - very good, silent, easy to change temperature, open or close. One of the best we had ever met. Nice convenient room and the bathroom. Still, the room was called "chambre de luxe", although there were no exceptional luxury there.

Noisy surrounding, so higher floors are strongly recommended. 25% price difference between our first night and the second one. None of them was a part of the weekend. We were badly surprised while paying the bill. The room bar was empty.

The hotel staff were wonderful to deal with. They were always friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and we were able to request a fan with helped keep it cool at night. The view was amazing. The hotel was easy walking distance to public transportation and museums.

The only issue we had was that the bathtub was not easy to get in and out of.

The staff was extremely professional and friendly. The hotel was in a great location, easy to get to and from sights we wanted to see. Walking distance to delightful cafes and shops. The experience was reminiscent of the glory days of travel where you truly felt welcomed and cared for by a staff who were glad to see you!
