The hotel is right outside the station, which was so convenient, the hotel is not fancy quite old school but does the job. We literally just used it to sleep in the night and have breakfast. Breakfast was OK, literally carbs no fry ups. Ben and Sami were awesome and helpful. They spoke English and told us how to get to places. I Will def book them again for a weekend break
The lady at the reception she's very rude and not helpful at all. The smoke - if the hotel was a smoke free place would've been great. People were smoking in their rooms and the smell was so strong.

Very close to the train station and to subway/metro. Very friendly staff, 10/10 for the staff. English friendly. Bed done and bathroom prepared every day. Small bathroom but clean and enough for 1 person. Very comfortable bed, aircon available, TV with some international channels, quite high speed WiFi. Has a personal safe. Lots of bistros/cafés around it, multiple choices where to have breakfast, lunch, dine or have some drinks. Amazing price for Paris.
Nothing much, maybe just the old furniture in the room, the small bathroom and the tiny elevator. Would recomend also enclosed shower, the half glass makes water go everywhere. At this price is more than acceptable, even for a long stay.

I had a wonderful view from my balcony, and the room was very clean with a lovely bathroom. As a blogger visiting Paris for the Beyoncé concert, I was looking for a comfortable place for a short stay — and this hotel met all my expectations. Personally, I think it’s a great choice whether you’re staying short- or long-term. The staff were kind and attentive. It was a bit hot in the room, and the housekeeping lady kindly brought me a fan, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was light and delicately prepared — a perfect start to the day.
Air Conditioning for summertime, otherwise all was good

Although not an 3 or 4 star hotel, the people were nice. The rooms were clean and everyday they were cleaning the room. The breakfast was very basic for the price. You have to go underground for the breakfast and the space was small. Outside the hotel a lot of café, restaurant to eat. I would recommend bayat brunch. They have tasty and nice breakfast. The location was very convenient for travelling. The hotel was across a big train/ metrostation. From here we went to the paris attractions.
A bit simple hotel. Good to sleep.

Again the staff were fantastic and always happy to help. I was impressed with their patience and ability to speak multiple languages. This should be an extra credit on their resumes. They were so friendly obliging and happy to engage in a little conversation too, and they didn't laugh at me for trying to speak French, which showed some amazing resolve, as my French is comical. They were fantastic. Please if you have the funds, give them a bonus. People with that much warmth and kindness should be rewarded. Thank you so much. I will definitely return when I am next in Paris.
All in all this was a fair value for money, so I don't wish to say I didn't like anything. It was a comfortable stay, we felt safe and secure, we slept well, the room was warm dry and spacious for what we wanted and I felt it was money well spent. The only downside, but not dislike, was the external street noise and a repeating flash of a fire alarm in the room. But this was not a deal breaker.

This location is my home from home twice a year re the 9th & 10th Aron so I just need a base to stay and know what to expect regarding the Hotels at 2* - I do try to spread my hotel stays around the area and have done several returns to one but if I do a return it would now be to this hotel - through no fault of the hotel (external factors) I had to change my room and I must say the Hotel Director was such an absolute pleasure to deal with regarding this issue, in conversation thereafter and on my last day when he helped me with my luggage - everyone I met on Reception was welcoming and I had a really interesting conversation with a chap from Reception which updated my knowledge on top of local friends updating me. I felt very safe and well looked after at this hotel and the two chaps I met via Housekeeping were lovely too. More so on my December visits I tend go back and forth to the room if I am not out for day so I am not demanding when it comes to a full daily service of the room as I keep it clean and make my bed - as long as the bedding is clean, I've got fresh towels and the bathroom is clean I am happy. I am middle-aged and travel/hotel experienced enough to confidently state that if perhaps you are travelling on your own (young or old) for the first time or as a couple and need a Hotel 'base' as opposed to a Hotel 'stay' then this Hotel would be a good choice re staff, helpfulness, feeling safe and welcomed.
This is 'Hotel' generic info - Whilst you can call reception to report noisy neighbours, knowing what to expect at 2* and that these Hotels service Gare du Nord etc and that there will be 1 or 2 night stays only, I've come to accept that there will be other 'Guests' who will conduct themselves as if they are at 'home' not in a Hotel with other guests.

Being right across the road to Gare Du Nord railway station, the location of this hotel is perfect to get to and from the airport, and to use the Metro to explore Paris. (If you are Australian, and love a flat white coffee, the owner of the cafe below this hotel tells you it is "impossible"!!!!), Better and cheaper food and drinks are available at great bakeries and cafes close by. The daily breakfast is amazing value, well worth the small extra charge. You will not be disappointed. Fantastic staff are always smiling and always helpful. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet, at the back away from the main road. Hot water jug and coffee/tea. Based upon our recent experience, we would stay here again and can highly recommend it. Thanks for a great stay.
Nothing.

The location was excellent, directly across the street from Gare Du Nord train station. The rooms were clean and cleaned each day. I don't know if that was usual practice, and this following comment does not relate to the property, however there were reports of bed bugs in Paris during our stay, which may have prompted additional cleaning, although none were in our hotel.
The shower is over a bath tub and there is no curtain, which resulted in a lot of water getting on the bathroom floor when you showered. A shower curtain would rectify this and keep the bathroom dry. The breakfast was 8.50 euro, however we did not consider this was value for money. There was sufficient on offer, however the cereal was stale and milk was warm. Plenty of food, with cereal, bread, cheese, cold meat, croissants, tea, coffee, juice, yoghurt.

The staff was helpful, Ben spoke English, and we were pleased with the hotel, the room and the breakfast in the quaint basement area. Everything above was updated and clean. There were cafes nearby for food and an Aldi store a couple of blocks away.
The location across from the train station was not the best. It was a busy area with a lot of noise, even in the night. We walked the streets with our little dog during the day, but didn't have any incidents, so we felt safe enough.

The location is the best. Just in front of the Gare du Nord. Near to any metro line or buses. (can use the google map to guide your journey) Surrounding walking area got a lot of foods - Chinese food, Indian food, French cuisine and etc. We took the breakfast - food spread was good, only need to top-up frequently as there are many other people staying in the hotel that bought the breakfast option. There is a lift available, very convenient for any elderly with mobility issue. The stairs are quite steep and winding.
The breakfast spread top-up/refill, saw one family didn't manage to have any of the croissant as it was not top up on time. Need to be more alert on this. Otherwise breakfast was good.
