A Comfortable Airport Retreat with Room to Grow I recently stayed at the Clarion Paris CDG Airport Hotel during a layover, and overall, I found it to be a comfortable and convenient choice for travelers seeking rest near Charles de Gaulle. The location is one of its biggest assets—just a short drive from the airport, and within walking distance to Aéroville shopping center. The room was spacious, clean, and soundproofed, with a handy kitchenette that made it easy to prepare a quick meal. The bed was comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked well throughout my stay. What pleasantly surprised me were the wellness amenities—the spa, sauna, and pool were perfect for unwinding after a long flight. The staff at reception were helpful and polite, though the check-in process could have been a bit quicker.

There are a few areas for improvement. The decor feels a bit dated, and some parts of the hotel (like hallway carpets or bathroom fixtures) could use a refresh. The airport shuttle isn't free, and runs on a fixed schedule, which may not be ideal for travelers with tight connections. Additionally, the on-site restaurant looked promising, but my breakfast was just okay—warm, but not memorable.

Great place to stay away from the airport but close enough to get there when you need to, facilities are good, in a nice area with parkland nearby

The front desk staff, …….on three separate interactions with the front desk the staff were totally unaware and indifferent about service, the young man who checked me in was either severely sleep deprived or under the influence, struggling with the concept of service, repeatedly asked the same questions, another customer waiting to be served, interrupted and asked him a question without any answer she left, he then repeated the question and asked why I would ask that , I explained that was another customer and he looked at me in disbelief….., over the course of my stay while waiting for the shuttle bus , I observed terrible service and interactions with customers, there was one nice young lady at checkout, I must point out that the staff and service in other areas was excellent

Had a problem when we got our rooms initially as 1 of them wasn't cleaned properly but the girl on reception sorted out the problem for us, even arranging house keeping to change the bed configuration in the new room for us to suit our family needs. Great location for getting to the airport for our flight home the next day. A few restaurants and grocery shops within walking distance. Didn't use the kitchenette as only stayed the 1 night but nice having a fridge to have cold drinks. We parked out on the road outside the hotel which was free. Rooms were very spacious with balconies and beds were comfortable 😊

Only the problem at check-in which meant I had to make 3 trips back to reception before everything was sorted and I could relax and enjoy the facilities.

Location was perfect for my need to stay close to the airport. I liked that all the rooms had a balcony. The room was spacious and air-conditioned.

For a Clarion it was a bit rundown. The toilet in my room was broken and it took me several calls and a visit to the front desk to finally get it serviced. Two separate technicians had to come and finally get it fixed. The restaurant and room service were way overpriced, but that is to be expected when you’re at a hotel i suppose.

Due to an early flight, we needed a hotel near the airport, and out of all the ones I looked at, this seemed like the best choice in terms of price and room photos. Since we needed a room for three adults, most hotels had a third bed that looked like a child’s bed placed above the main bed. However, in this hotel, the room had one large double bed and a separate single bed next to it. The room was pleasantly spacious and included a separate kitchenette. The bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower, as well as a separate toilet. Room was quite modern and beds were comfy. When we arrived, there was some event happening in the hotel lobby with very loud noise and music, but the room itself was pleasant and quiet. Around 7 a.m., it took about 30 minutes from leaving the hotel to getting through security and reaching our departure gate. Of course, this depends on the time of day and the queues — there were none when we arrived. Did not have breakfast nor use the spa, so can´t comment on these.

The hotel is located about a 5–10 minute drive from the airport (there are many overpasses and highways, so walking to the airport is not possible). The hotel offers a paid transfer service, which I believe cost €8 per person. I recommend using Bolt or Uber instead. We took a Bolt and paid €13 in total. It took us directly to the correct terminal entrance and we reached our gate very quickly. A €250 room deposit seems like a lot, but it’s not a problem to pay if that’s the requirement. However, I expected the money to be refunded immediately upon check-out, but it came back about 24 hours later.

Beautiful hotel, very clean and had a gym/pool area. The rooms were a good size, very clean. Staff were also very kind and helpful. Had a problem with the key cards but they were quick to help and get this sorted. Great location about 40 minute drive to centre of Paris. Would definitely stay again!

Asked for a room with a double bed and a single bed but were given 3 single beds, 2 being pushed together to make a double. Didn’t mind as we were only there 2 nights. They do ask for a deposit via card which we didn’t prepare for but totally understand. However, do think the deposit could be lower as it wasn’t much less than what we paid for the hotel.

Decorated to a high standard, this hotel is great for those travelling for business. It's clean, have a lot to offer and the staff was kind and helpful.

Unfortunately, even though it has a cute little kitchen and the means to make tea or coffee, there was a shortage of crockery and cutlery. My sister's room didn't have any cups, and I had no teaspoons.

I was almost scared booking the room when I read the negative review online but on entering the facility,I was suprised and happy ..They had a good hotel and a good place to escape for holiday .tleach room had kitchen with microwave and cooker .Very clean and spacious room .Friendly staff .Good spa treatment .it really went beyond my expectations and am glad I came .I requested that they should give me one hour excess before checking out and they accepted .My deposit was refunded fast even before I got to the airport .They have very lovely and friendly staff.I look forward to coming to the hotel next time that I am in Paris .lovely people

Not enough varieties on the breakfast menu

Short distance from the airport, we included the breakfast and it was a good option, the rooms are ok to spend the night, nothing fancy but comfortable.

There was no instructions on how to get from the airport to the hotel, I called the hotel, the reception told me to take a cab, when you can actually take the skyline and go to terminal 3 to the bus terminal exit!

The forcefully EURO 250 deposited at the time of check in and 50 EURO for early checked in . although already they have blocked my credit card amount at the time of online booking . it was first time me to stay in this hotel but in term of commercial it was not at all good. kindly refund my 250 EURO +50 EURO + Unblock my credit card amount .
