This hotel has a very nice view. The location is busy and traffic noise was an issue during the day, but it did quiet down a little at night. The restaurant food was very good, although we did not have breakfast here. The air conditioner worked well and the bathroom was spacious. The bartender was very sweet and she helped make our stay even better. The bus stop is right out the front door and the train station only a 10 minute walk. There is also a grocery store around the corner and a very nice bakery. There is a parking spot across the street for when you first check in which was helpful. We walked the beachside to Menton which was nice. Do yourself a favor and eat at L'Hippocamp. It is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel and the food and views were amazing.

I had reserved a parking space and there was an issue the first night and I had to be put in a parking garage that was about an eight minute walk away. They did fix it the second night for the parking in front.

The room was very clean, great size and bathroom and separate toilet great sizes too. It was very modern and more than met our needs. Beds firm and air con quiet. We opted not to pay extra for sea view, bonus to this was the sun was on our balcony early evening whilst sea view rooms were in shade, down side you were looking directly into balconies of residential apartments opposite. There is a bakery and local bar/shop below the hotel and a supermarket 1 minute walk. Drinks in the hotel more expensive than the local bar so we went there.. would have love to have used the hotel seating but at 4 euros an aperol (for comparison) we went to local bar. Train station 10 minute walk so very convenient (make sure to go to Carnoles station for this hotel and not Roqubrane-cap-Martin which is the other end of the town). Deck chairs to borrow to sit on beach. There is a sister hotel in Menton, the Napoleon who were super welcoming when we visited and said we were at the Victoria.

The drinks prices were really only thing that would have liked different we would could have enjoyed more of the hotel. There isn’t anything else that we would have changed.

Beautiful hotel. Spacious, airy very tastefully decorated room with good balcony overlooking sea. Maybe ask to avoid the room with the huge tree taking out a third of your view! Nonetheless, the tree didn't spoil it. Magic few days! Staff were absolutely superb. Really helpful and friendly. Nice touches such as along with water there's a couple of complimentary soft drinks - and very good coffee. Highly recommend.

Loved the Le Corbusier photographs and art works. Overall interior design very well done with all the references to the artists. A great location near the water and parking was great too.

Smokers down below our room meant we could not open our doors at certain times.

I stayed in room 210, which has no balcony, but you are able to pay for lots of other rooms with a balcony if you wish. Everything that you could need during the stay was available from the hotel. From baby milk warmers to slippers and irons and beach chairs, etc...the list is HUGE, and I think you will find it hard to fault them. The hotel also sports a lot of nice products used within the room, such as the brilliant bluetooth bedside alarm clock and L'occitane bath soap (which smell absolutely amazing). These are on display within the reception, which I believe you can actually purchase. The beds are super comfortable and are of excellent quality, with spare pillows kept in the cupboard if you need them. The room cleaning service is brilliant 👏 I've stayed in a lot of hotels over the years due to the nature of my job. I can honestly say that this hotel has some fantastic cleaners and they are so polite and they always greet you with a warm, welcoming smile. I really hope they get the credit they deserve as I think they are a fantastic team. "A HUGE round of applause 👏 from me." The beach is so close to the hotel, which is great if you like a morning swim, or you may have kids that can't wait to jump in the water. The water is very clear and the beach is very clean. however, I do recommend that you take some beach shoes as the coast very stoney and can be very painful to walk on - not to mention scalding hot from the sun. Just to note: on my last day I discovered a water tap just next to the beach GYM (to the right if you are looking at the sea) which would have been useful If I had known sooner. Food and Drink: Where do i begin! There are so many places to choose from. You have the hotel restaurant that offers room service, the hotel restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the hotel bar if you fancy a nice drink and the surrounding pizzeria and bars that operate under the same building complex.

There's not much to say here other than a few points: - The Air-con made my partners throat very sore. I am not sure if that's due to the filters need changing or just the nature of its dehumidification within the room. - The Hotel guide book speaks about bedroom slippers, but it would be nice if these were already in the room from the beginning. - The thick plastic 'do not disturb' door hangers always fall off the handle when you open the door. Maybe lighter ones would be better, or maybe a dedicated hook be placed on the door so they stay put.

Great bedroom and bathroom, though the view was at the back. The staff were nice and attentive

View from the bedroom. I booked this hotel because of the private car parking. On arrival we were told it was not available to us. This should not be advertised as private parking

We had several difficulties at the hotel, since our room was flooded and the air conditioning in the room they upgraded us to did not work, but they were fortuitous things, and the hotel and its staff always responded excellently..We only have gratitude for them

The parking garage is 300 meters from the hotel.
