The reception area smelt and looked very comfortable and welcoming in a "jungle theme". There were plenty of seating areas and a bar. For entertainment there was a Poole room and a table football area. There were also books and magazines available to enjoy. As a bonus there were some charging points at the seating area. We're having a super stay here.

Nothing. The shower was amazing, the beds were comfortable and clean, the room was modern and perfect. I would greatly recommend. There is plenty of parking at the back and underground- obviously you have to pay but it's not too expensive all things considered.

Staff were excellent, and the hotel was secure and the rooms clean. It was also good value for money.

There was no snack food available, which meant having to find alternatives from the local area. There was also noise late unto the night from houses situated next to the hotel making it difficult to sleep if a window was open to keep cool. Secure parking underground was welcome but guests need to take care not to damage their cars driving through the barrier as the sharp drop quickly followed by a flat surface could scrape under front bumpers.

The hotel's public areas are new and well maintained. There is nice, comfy lobby with many sittings area, games and reading material. The rooms are small. Bathroom was even smaller. It was not very comfortable for 3 adults and 2 suitcases. There is a privet parking with additional cost. It is situated out side of the city center, which suit us cause we had a car. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't had breakfast there, but it looked good.

Vert small room and even small bathroom. It seems they renovated and divide a bigger room into two small ones. The shower was a small booth and it was impossible to leave it's door open without having the whole place become wet.

Found the property to be very clean, the rooms excellent size and the bar/reception area to be very spacious. Underground parking was reasonable and the property we'll located. We were mistakenly accused of taking a stuffed toy from reception when we were leaving (our daughter also had the ikea monkey - like, I'm sure, many do!), but managed to resolve with a friendly English speaking member of the reception team. Just a word of warning if your child takes their stuffed animal into the hotel!

Air con was centrally locked at 24 degrees. Was a bit warm for us and would have been nice to have the ability to tweak within the room itself at the control panel.

Staff were really nice/helpful, room had aircon that actually worked.

Parking was really complicated (entrance stated 1.9 metres so even removing the bike meant I couldn’t enter (the roof box takes the height to 2.1) but after endless circulating to find a parking space elsewhere I was informed (by hotel staff) that he adjacent road (I had parked in) was ‘not safe’ and the actual height restriction was 2.1 (so I could remove the bike, drive in, and put the bike back on). And they have very clear notices asking people to park in their underground car park if they don’t have roof boxes/bicycles etc……and yet every spot overground was filled with a car (including the disabled slots, the EV slots) and the staff just don’t care.

I was actually surprised because I thought I had booked the hotel beside it, which is where I usually stay! So it was a bit of a shock that it wasn’t as fancy as the other side, but in the end, everything was clean and comfortable and well presented yet simple. It was enough for the two nights we were there. We were happy

On that side of the hotel as you exit the elevator, the carpet is very unattractive and loud. I know it’s a cheaper side of the hotel but there are more subtle carpets and there’s an overpowering disinfectant cleaning type smell apart from that everything was great. Thanks

A nicely decorated lobby, smooth checkin (and precheckin), and am amazing breakfast. Good sound insulation from outside noise (the hotel is next to a busy road) and fairly effective blackout curtains. It is clean and the fitness circuit up the stairs was quirky and fun! Before you pay to park in the carpark, check around the surrounding streets; we found free parking next to the hotel; could see the car from our window.

The room was small; not easy to move around or to separate the twin beds. The interior soundproofing is not great; could hear movement etc from neighbouring rooms and doors slamming. The hotel's position on the Left bank means having to drive or get a bus into the centre (there is a bus very near to the hotel which gets to the centre in 15 minutes; buy tickets at the bus stop).

Good location- READ comments about CLEAN AIR Zone. Staff Friendly, Breakfast was OK juice machine wasn't working and staff didn't want to fix it or even look at it.... Room Tidy, Clean and a nice shower, towels provided but just remember it i a basic hotel. Burger king just up the road so if you arrive late you can always get something to eat Also a small supermarket situated just up the road.

Whilst booking they should of mentioned that the hotel is in the clean air zone as I was unaware of this until i drove to the outskirts of Rouen, I'm hoping i don't receive a fine in the post....

Reasonably priced stay and parking. Plenty of parking spaces in the courtyard and in the underground garage. Quite spacious room for the budget hotel, and there are enough of shelves and hangers. Stylish lobby. Free tea and water refill throughout the day.

Pretty remote location - about 40 minutes by foot from the city center. No scrambled or fried eggs for the breakfast, and you need to cook the eggs yourself. No vegetables. Loose tea is not a convenient option to use for a crowded buffet, I'd rather have standard bagged tea instead. Overall clean, but the bathroom has rusty stains and the walls next to the door are battered. Double check the address when using maps, there are two Ibis hotels named "Rouen Centre Rive Gauche" (second one has "Mermoz" in the name).
