Couldn't be any nearer to the Festspiele Opera House up the hill and the train station down the hill!

Unlike previous visits: breakfast was no longer included in the booking and I can't imagine that I requested not to have breakfast! Travelling alone: the reception has now been downgraded in that they ask you to check in online and you can leave your card key in a box, without speaking to anyone. I really appreciated the receptionist who wanted to show me her pics of Sicily, where I live.

The property was modern, clean, the bed was comfortable and the double glazing ensured no noise from the railway behind. And had good air conditioning essential in a Bayreuth summer. Also had an ironing room for those dressing up for the Festival. The young staff were helpful and efficient with one exception in the evening staff. Nice areas on the ground floor to sit in.

No bin in the main room we know you want to practise proper regulations but we need a bin, we acquire things and need somewhere to dispose of rubbish. Typically the hotel doubles its prices during the Bayreuth Festival as do all the hotels.

The staff were extremely helpful from the moment of check in. We had a lot of luggage & were put in a slightly larger room. When I asked for a kettle & 2 mugs they were provided & checkout was friendly & efficient. The room was very clean & new sheets/towels were provided every day.

A very minor observation, an additional waste paper bin in the bedroom would have been useful.

The location was excellent, close to the train station and 10 minute walking distance to the festival theater. the hotel appears to be new construction clean, modern with comfortable bed and spacious bath room.

no wardrobe or storage facilities, no safe.

Location is great, bed is super comfy, the room was quite and clean. Dog was warmly welcomed even though she was opinionated about everything (we talked to her!)

No storage space of any kind other then 1 tiny hanger for your coat. A tiny wardrobe would fix the situation. Please note that there is no fridge in the room.

I attend the Festival. The hotel is close to the station and roughly 10 min walk to the Festival. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are cleaned whilst performances take place so you come back to a nice fresh room. The centre of town is approximately 15 mins walk away.

You will have to pay for the breakfast, 16 Euro pro person, but the breakfst is fantastic, so it is really wort it. The room key is wooden, very nice facilities.

The staff could have been more friendly, coffee in the room would also be nice and the hair dryer is lacking. Better also with parking without having to pay for that too.

We've stayed single night only and enjoyed the place very much. Comformtable parking lot just next to the building. Very comfy beds and silence during the nighttime despite the closeby railway.

Breakfast offer is overpriced in my opinion. We've used external offer which turned to be a half of the hotel price.

The location is perfect for arriving by train. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the AC was a godsend during the hot summer days.

Of the 5 staff members I interacted with, one was slightly unhappy to be working there. I still got everything I needed.

Very clean, centrally located, all attractions easily reachable as there are many bus stops around. Good value for money. If you need hairdryer or iron, it’s provided by receptionist with 10 euro as a security deposit. Rooms are cleaned everyday.
