Reception staff were very approachable and luckily for us spoke perfect English. Everyone we dealt with was helpful. Location was ideal for us and the surroundings were very peaceful, we had a room overlooking the courtyard. Breakfast was fine, plenty coffee and dishes were refilled when empty. Bathroom was spotless, as was the hotel, and the shower was great. Although the set up with the beds was a bit strange we both found the beds comfortable and slept really well.

As this was an old hotel the floor in our room creaked really badly, I'm not sure how much it disturbed other guests. Also we booked a twin room but the beds were set up in a rather strange way, there was a bed either side of the toilet door, so anyone putting the light on or opening the toilet door disturbed the other person. There was no bedside light so you had to get out of bed to put the light out.

A charming hotel. Perfect base for our week's stay in Berlin since we relied and used the train /bus system a lot. Reinickendorfer strasse Ubahn , Wedding, and the bus stop for bus #120 heading for the Hauptbahnhof were within walking distance. The room was large for the two of us, comfy ,clean and quiet. Breakfast in a cosy room with a view to the outside gardens was fairly substantial and typical German breakfast offerings. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our request for fresh towels without needing the room cleaned was met quickly. Felt safe here .

Pillows were too squishy, instead of plump and firm but that just a personal preference and did not detract from the comfort of our stay.

The receptionists and the ladies and gentlemen from the kitchen. Everyone is so welcoming in this hotel. Especially receptionists are the best, they know I am not fluent in German, so they all speak in English explaining / recommending where it is fun in Berlin to ensure my first trip in Berlin was wonderful. Location is closed to Ubahn and Sbahn. Very convenient!

The only thing is the pillows are not very supportive on the neck.

Wow I am still dreaming about my stay at Hotel Graf Puckler. The staff, specifically the gentlemen working at the front desk, went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and had everything I needed. One day I was going out for a walk and one of them insisted I take an umbrella from him and it saved the day. The staff was so lovely and accommodating my unique requests. I felt so at home and taken care of. My room was a delight and so cozy.

This is a not-for-profit hotel — the only one in BERLIN. The money goes to support Christian charities. I am not a Christian myself, but I love the idea of doing things for OTHERS, and not simply for profit. The people who work in the hotel mostly (maybe entirely, I am not sure) come from the Christian community behind the hotel. They have a special connection and commitment to the success of the place. They care about it, and therefore really care about you, the customer. All staff are very open and friendly. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY ZERO PRESSURE REGARDING CHRISTIANITY — YOU ONLY LEARN ABOUT IT IF YOU DO A LITTLE READING AND ASK A FEW QUESTIONS. Place is very quiet. Breakfast is ample and good.

The area immediately around the hotel is a little run down and uninteresting — but it is PERFECTLY SAFE! It’s only a 20 minute walk to very interesting areas. Hotel is well served by public transportation.

The room was pretty clean and confortable. There were all the things you would need for a short stay. The staff was really polite and helpful with everything. Everyday they would take out the trash and make the beds. We didn't have booked for breakfast so I'm not sure about that. The location is good too since it's pretty close to public transport stations and the ride to landmarks such as the Brandenburg Gate took about 20'. The pictures of the rooms I think do not justice the actual situation since the rooms seem to have older style when the reality is not exactly like that. We would definitely recommend it and if we visit Berlin again we would choose to stay there since it was really value for money.

Traditional hotel but charming. There are visible efforts to improve it and update it. Staff is very kind. Well placed. My room was comfortable, espacious but higiene must be improved. Bathrooms must be cleaned and desinfected on a daily basis and carpets must be vaccuumed even under the furniture and in the corners.

Cleaning standards.

It’s excellent value for money, located in a quiet neighbourhood but still very convenient for getting around – public transport links are great and it’s easy to reach the main sights. The staff were especially friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. My room was spacious and well-ventilated. All in all, a very good stay.

The staff was kind and welcoming. The room was comfortable and everything was very clean, including the shared toilets. The location is also great, close to the Wedding S-Bahn station and to the city center. It’s great value for the money, and I was very pleasantly surprised.

The only thing that bothered me was the fact that the curtains didn’t close all the way. I had to sleep with a sleeping mask, because it is very easy to wake up every now and then with the light.

I absolutely loved that place. To me it presented unbeatable value for money in Berlin. Centrally located close to the S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations. Although you can even walk to the city centre if you want. Basic but very nice room. There was even a little fridge there. Very helpful and friendly staff. Simple but tasty breakfast. Spotless clean and quiet. I had a shared toilet on my floor but never met a single person while l was there. Perhaps the only thing that was missing was a little kettle in the room to make a hot drink after a long day of sightseeing. Apart from that all great for that price. I highly recommend that hotel if you are looking for comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price in Berlin.
