This old hotel has seen many years of service and it shows in it worn floors and dated decor. That said, it was very comfortable, with a very large room, high ceilings, a nice terrace, and very comfortable beds. The room was very clean and warm. The location was excellent with the U3 line just outside the door. And the included breakfast was really good, even for us vegans! The staff was very friendly and cooperative, even showing us a variety of rooms to choose from. I would stay again.

There really wasn't anything that I didn't like about this place!

Friendly and helpful staff, great location with direct access to public transportation. The option to keep our bikes in the backyard and baggage at the reception after check-out was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed the included breakfast.

The furniture was a bit run-down, one of our beds was creaking. The color choice for the breakfast room was deemed a little intense by some of us.

Friendly and kind staff members. Easy access to transport, ex. next to Metro and nearby restaurants. Breakfast was super with freshly baked buns. It is so convenient for guests to have free breakfast and visit the city early in the morning. Beds and other stuff in the rooms are good enough for family.

The building is old.

We had a spacious room suited for 5 so we certainly weren't cramped. The location was great as it was really near a u-bahn station and there were lots of good quality restaurants on the street. Breakfast was simple but definitely adequate. There weren't many staff and they didn't speak great English but they were friendly and hardworking. The room was large with high, pretty ceilings, and an old fashioned touch.

The breakfast room was small and cramped with not a great selection of food. Apart from that it was all good. 🙂

Very helpful and friendly hotel staff. we had a difficult flight, were very tired and the hotel staff agreed with us a later check-out, which gave us the opportunity to rest after the trip. The room was clean and comfortable.

Place is located very close to Ubahn station Augsburger Str. very close to main street with shops and restaurants, also to Wittenbergplatz. Bed was very big and comfortable, room was sunny, with wardrobe and small tv. Bathroom was clean with fresh towel on demand. Breakfast was really good, with different hams, cheese some vegetables. Yogurt, muesli and milk were also available.

Nice location. 5 min. walk distance to the main highlights of Kurfurstendamm.

Poor breakfast. It could be find mush better everywhere else around.

Room was okay, location is really great, only a 10 mins walk from a Zoologische Garten station, everything was really close :)

Maybe the floor could be cleaned more, but otherwise all was fine.

The location is great. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. Furniture and building are old but linens and rooms were clean.

The breakfast was lovingly prepared and arranged by a friendly & attentive woman.

That there were foldable beds stored in the room.
