It had a clean and functional produce kitchen, self check in, had all the utensils to suit your needs and the room was large and the garden was beautiful too. The guests and owners were polite.

I didn't like having a shared bathroom and toilet between men and women. My room was on the first floor and the internet connection on the floor was constantly cut off. Even when walking in the hall, the sounds were loud in the room and the sound coming from the windows was extremely noisy outside. The iron of the bunk bed was digging into my back.

I was afraid, because this is my first solo travel and booking, I encourage every girl who wants to travel solo to book in this hostel, I always was afraid of a place which is not safe and clean, through the reviews I've booked here, for 3 nights, in a 2 single bedded room, shared with another girl. (This is the best thing that they have this choice). 3 nights I slept peacefully, the place was clean, Nelly is very caring, she prepares snacks for a light breakfast every morning, there is alwas something to eat in the refrigerator, in case you arrived late or had not enough time to buy something, the kitchen is very warm, you can even sit, in the night, or whenever you want, there is many kinds of Tee, and coffee, for free. I liked the cleanness of the bathrooms and the hot water pressure, also there is everything you might forget, such as slippers, umbrellas, even bicycles. It is a small home, equipped with many things. The location is also good, with 2 transportation ca. 35 mins you reach the city center.

The place is owned by a couple that keeps all tidy and clean. In the kitchen there is some food and some drinks all day long. There are cameras that check the common spaces, so your stuff is safe and no one can steal it.

It was one of the most cleanest hostels I had stayed. I was there with my girlfriend and we booked the female dormitory room. The beds were comfortable and it looked cute. The 24 hour breakfast was a huge plus for us, as we arrived at the hotel and usually left early in the morning. I did not feel like there was not enough breakfast throughout my stay - which is a plus for me. The bathrooms were also neat and clean, although they were quiet small. Again, I would definitely stay there again.

The only downside I see is that the location is a bit far from the city center. But again, there were buses and U-Bahn throughout the night, so it was not an issue. Although the hostess only spoke Russian, she was super nice.

Nice room with normal beds ,not bunk bed, which meant you can sleep easily, window and small closet. They provide linen and quite small towels. Only two beds so you have some kind of privacy. Beatiful kitchen to prepare meal,or have tea and coffee or sit wth your laptop. Generally quiet . Fair price

Bath and toilet is the same place ,small and rather old, which means that when you take a shower everything gets wet. Kitchen is the only place to sit, so it may get noisy.Needs better padlock for the closet ,so better bring your own

-allow self check-in so no problem arriving midnight -bread is available in the morning, but there is always spreads, butter, jam in the fridge. Microwave available, no stove though -stayed in a 3 bed female dorm for 3 nights, luckily they and other guests i met in the kitchen were nice -little padlock and towel available in the room -no shoes in the house, i like this so much, especially in a rainy day. sometimes some guests didn't follow this rule. flip flop available in the bathroom -clean. Sometimes if you found the area dirty, it is because other guests didn't clean after use, but at least the workers clean everyday -feel like home. you could see the owner had put effort on little decorations to make the area looks nicer -though not located in the city centre, it's quite fast going there. When you back hostel and don't wanna walk from Osloer Straße, you can take bus 150/225, just 2 stops you will arrive. Gesundbrunnen has a big shopping mall, you could found Rewe, Rossmann, Aldi there.

-no reception so if any disputes happen, guests had to solve on their own. I didn't encounter any, but just a heads-up -would be nicer if napkins are available in the kitchen, guess guests would be more willing to tidy up the area if napkins are availabe

Host and staff were very nice and helpful, acted right away if anything happened. The kitchen always had something free in it for us which is such a nice touch, made me feel right at home and cared for. The place is also close to U-Bahns and buses so you can be in the centre in 15-20 minutes AND have a good night's sleep because the neighbourhood is quiet. Perfect for the price, my best stay in Berlin so far.

There wasn't anything, really. The towels smelled a bit when you used them, they probably couldn't dry in the dryer machine but that's it, it was a minor inconvenience.

The setup of the hostel is more of getting together and meeting other people. The mood is always very good, there was never any administrative issue. The location is pretty central and I had no issue finding the places I needed to go. The free stuff is really nice, mind you though, there is only a microwave, but this was enough.

Some of the other people staying at the hostel were not entirely clean, but this isn't on the hostel.

That was certainly the beat hostel I have stayed in so far. I never met the owner but she thought of everything and the hostel felt like home. It was truly cozy and welcoming. The free snacks were tasty, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the backyard had space enough and there were even free bikes, which come really handy in Berlin. I can't recommend the hostel enough and in case I ever return to Berlin, I would choose this hostel as my accommodation again.

Ony thing: the rooms are a bit small for so many people but it works fine for just a night or two.
