Brand new room. Friendly staff. Fully open window. Good wifi. Comfy bed. Good Facilities.

Wish there a barrier free entrance. About 15 steps in front of entrance. Need to carry heavy luggage up. Pillow is not firm enough. Only hand soap given. No shampoo/body wash. Don’t know if daily cleaning is provided or not. It’s not a big problem for me. But my room wasn’t serviced for the duration of my stay. Shower drains a bit too slowly because hair got stuck in the strainer below. Could be easily solved if room was serviced.

The hotel was brand new and the room was very clean and very quit. The location was ok, and not to far from bus and tram station.

I was very grateful when they allowed me to check in early after a long haul flight from Malaysia. I asked upon arrival and the staff made the effort to find me a ready room. Locationally it is near the venue of a class I am attending so I found it very convenient. If it wasn't for this, I would rate it a 7. The reception is not always manned so you need to walk to the cafe to check with the staff. I'm glad I didn't check in after office hours as it will be challenging to get support as the self check in is not as straightforward as it is made out to be. A friend of mine checked in at 12am and struggled to only find she was assigned an unmade room so it took a lot longer to get that addressed. The room I got so the larger one and it is well designed to support wheelchair users. Things I disliked: Food wise particularly in the budget range is limited other than bakeries. It is ideal if there was a kettle in the room to make something warm to drink or have a cup of soup from the supermarket. The pillows are super soft so piled them all up to use. They need to look into adding a firm pillow to the soft ones provided as people coming all over the world will have different preferences

New building with clean rooms. It's a little bit far from the City Center but acceptable. We used the Self Check in, it was easy and fast. We had a TV (not smart but TV channels, it was good). The bed was comfortable. The area is quiet and safely. It looks like new. The bathroom and shower is big. Somebody told, the room was small, but I think is enough. We dont bought breakfeast.

A little bit far from city center, but You can come back with S-Bahn directly. I recommend the accommodation.

The room was comfortable and clean, and other facilities such as the option to eat at an in-house cafe/restaurant/bar and the vending machines were a nice add on. We were also allowed to store our luggage there even after checking out. The hotel is within a few minutes walking distance of a huge shopping center and S Bahn, bus, and tram. For us it was a plus to be near our conference center but keep in mind that it's a little further from most touristy areas than if you book in Mitte, although they are still very accessible by public transport and you get a good value for your money.

When we checked in our keycards didn't work multiple times and we had to go down to the front desk 3 times until someone fixed it. But that was the only issue we encountered.

I am new to Germany and I have to go to Berlin every month for work. It's the 1st time I tried The Base Berlin and at the same time a friend of mine joined me there to spend the weekend. It was an amazing experience. I had some questions before arriving and my emails were replied to, 5 min only after I sent them, by "Jessa" with all the information I needed. The hotel is clean. The bed comfortable. There is a 12 min walk to Pankow station with easy connection to every where. It was a very nice stay. My first and surely not the last. See you next month.

Very nice, and modern co-living hotel. The idea and concept of co-living in this modern way are very interesting to me. The hotel was located in the old part of town, in a quiet, and nice locality. The surroundings were clean and nice. The hotel itself offered a few nice relaxing areas including a rooftop terrace. Coworking space and a shared kitchen were available also for the hotel guests. Also, you can use the hotel laundry, and fit center in one of the buíldings. The Wi-Fi connection was stable, and fast enough. The hotel personnel was very helpful, and friendly. The price was ok I think.

This was not such a problem during the time we were staying in the hotel, but there was no air conditioning in hotel rooms (at least in one we were staying). Maybe it is a part of the environmentally friendly policy, but even in the middle of May it was really hot in the room during the day, and in the corridor, it was almost like in a sauna. The nights were colder outside, so with the window opened, it was ok, we were not staying in the room during the day, but maybe having AC in rooms would be very nice for hotter days.

A really good and nice place to stay for some days. Self check in so no need to spend your time for a standard one. Small room but for two of us was enough space. Look nice but you see that it’s not a new place. Too soft pillow. There is a coffee shop so with some breakfast options, hot/cold drinks or cocktails in lobby. Also you can grab something to go from banding machines. Last days we got free croissants to go from the a sweet girl from the bar.

It would be great to have a small fridge in the room and AC. When outside was around 15 about 0 we had 31 in the room. It was hard to sleep there.A bit high prices in the bar. If you come to visit the city probably will be not the best location. Close to the groceries or tram/train stops but you need around 30-40 minutes to go to the city center. But it’s really safe and silent part of the city.

This place really suits me because of its quiet location, informality and functionality - as a person travelling for work and not wanting to be in one of the inner city locations. Wifi is good and I like that there is a community of professionals in the co-working part of the site.

The temperature of the rooms is the tricky bit - they get very hot when the sun is on the windows during the day and there is no in-built means to cool down the rooms. They do provide a portable fan but even that does not quite do the trick.
