I had a wonderful stay in the Hoxton in Charlottenburg. My room although a bit on the small side, was very quiet, with an extremely comfortable bed, a mini bar fridge (supplied from the front desk at very reasonable prices) along with a very well equipped bathroom. The room also came with an old style radio which had some super stations on it, very enjoyable to listen to. Without exception all the staff were very welcoming and friendly as well as being very helpful with directions etc. The bar area is fantastic, with comfortable seating in a club like atmosphere. I dined twice in the resident Indian restaurant, what a treat, super service with lots of advice about the different flavours of food on offer. For me, best of all were the free electric bikes on offer. I cycled all around Berlin in 3 days, it is by far the most cycle friendly city I have been in, surpassing Copenhagen and even Amsterdam for the layout of cycleways and the courtesy of its' drivers. There is a wonderful cycleway through the Tiergarten to the Brandenburg Gate, I would highly recommend trying! Overall the combination of staff, facilities and location make this on of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

Toilet access from the Bar was not easy, (you had to go upstairs) though apparently this is just a temporary issue and will be resolved shortly.

If you want to see the chic side of Berlin, look no further. Wonderful boutique hotel with a lovely Berlin lamp atmosphere, cozy warm chimney in the lobby and amazing attention to detail especially in interior design. Staff was extremely friendly, and the hotel itself transports you to the pages of a Gatsby Book. The Room view is to the fancy German buildings. The perfect place to stay when visiting. The Hotel is very good located, right next to the Train&Metro Station, all the luxurious stores are 5 steps away. I tend to come back again and again.

The location was perfect for what we needed. The street was very quiet. Breakfast was delicious too. The rooms are very comfortable, I had everything I needed

When I first arrived I couldn't get on the WiFi but the next day it was fine.

Very important drawback: The hotel did not want to issue an invoice. They argued that it should be issued by booking.com but booking.com told me that by the hotel. As a result, I did not receive any invoice.

This hotel was brilliant! We had a ‘biggy’ room and it was great. The room was clean, and just as described. The bed was super comfortable, the room was very relaxing. The air conditioning was great too. The location was perfect, a short walk from the station/public transport, but out of the busy area. The staff were lovely, the bar/restaurant was a nice place to relax and have a drink. There were lots of places nearby to eat/drink as well. We would absolutely recommend and would definitely be booking again for our next trip to Berlin.

Lobby experience, room decor and comfortable bed. Nice rooms and well designed space. Everything at bar could be charged back to room easily, so minimum effort. Also loved the personalised WhatsApp welcome to use as contact throughout stay.

Could have had more complimentary water, we had to buy several from the bar which weren't cheap. We had a very well insulated and warm room, and the air con wouldn't adjust to below 19 degrees, so we had to open windows and prop them to keep room cool. One of the 2 lifts was out of service for the whole period we were staying (4 nights), a minor inconvenience as on 6th floor and one lift was being used by all guests, causing longer waits. Not a showstopper as happily used the stairs, but others could struggle, and I would have thought the hotel would be straight on to fixing these kinds of things quickly.

Exceptionally comfortable beds in a quiet and comfortable room. You wouldn't have known u were in a busy city at all as there was no noise from outside. Great decor and a very relaxing vibe. Nice cocktails in the bar downstairs.

Breakfast was not included in the room rate and was à la carte. My partner ordered avocado on toast and got a tiny little sliver of toast while I had the French toast. While it was tasty, the portion sizes were pretty small and we got a shock when we were charged €44 for this, 2 coffees and an orange juice e. A bit of a rip- off to be honest. Don't eat in the hotel!

Located in a very good neighborhood; just at the heart of Berlin. Street was quiet but very cool. Lots of nice restaurants, supermarkets, shops and bars around. Also the hotel runs a very cool bar and an Indian restaurant.

We stayed for 3 nights and we have been a frequent traveler and have stayed at The Hoxton Paris & Amsterdam before. But in Berlin, they didn’t clean the room during our stay. We asked for housekeeping twice but they only changed the towels. I really surprised because in Paris which I stayed for 3 times it was much more luxurious/ here there were no amenities like no cotton buds etc. They should have empty the trash cans at least?

Fantastic location. Very close to KaDeWe and the main shopping area, but down a side street so it was quiet and atmospheric. There are tons of great restaurants and bars in the vicinity, you will always have somewhere to explore. Large rooms that were well appointed and very clean. The rooms were larger than I was expecting for this price point in central Berlin at the same time as the Berlin marathon!! Lovely bar area in the foyer, with good selection of drinks. All in all, I would stay here again.

It would have improved our stay if the TVs had Chromecast or some english channels. I know its a finnicky thing, but a lot of 4-5 star hotels these days have Chromecast, so I did think it was a bit odd that it wasn't enabled. Lucky I know a little bit of German, but my husband wasn't so lucky.

The location, people who worked there, the little details in the hotel meant everything! One of the staff, Claire was amazing, taking time to provide us some really great places to eat and things to do.. we were boiled over by the willingness of her and everyone who worked there want to make our stay a happy and comfortable one! Was brilliant to have our own DJ doing his set on the Friday night— was such a vibe! Even though my room was called the shoebox, it was still similar in size to other hotel rooms ( Premier inn?) but was made better by the amenities that helped lift the room from 3 stars to 4 stars! Will definitely try to stay at this hotel again if I return, or in other cities!

No bathrobe and slippers provided? It’s a little touch, and this hotel is all about the little touches..
