The property is located a short peaceful walk from Bonn city centre and is on a street with shops 1 minute in each direction. there are multiple bus and tram stops on the street. I found the tram to be the best way into the city centre both the 61 and 62 run there and you get to the city centre in 10 minutes saving you 15/20 minutes walking. The trams arrive very often as well, each service must arrive every 10 minutes or so. You will never wait longer than 5 minutes. The building is beautiful as are most in the Bonn area. The interior is nice and well decorated with a lovely dining area in which I watched some portions of the football. The hotel was fully booked but was always quiet which was brilliant as I only really used the hotel for sleeping. The staff were excellent and had good chat as well as great knowledge of the area. Bonn is a lovely place to visit with a great history as well as being close to Cologne with train links to many major cities. I would suggest if you go you visit the House of the History of the Federal Republic of Germany which is the most interesting museum I have been to in my life. To my surprise it was free and the staff there were very welcoming to. I hope the staff at Astoria can pass my praises onto the museum as well. Not that it is necessary but the staff in the hotel all spoke great English and could easily understand me despite my thick Scottish accent. The people of Germany are all fantastic and respectful but I knew this from my previous 2 visits. Thanks for making me and my friend’s stay incredible. It was clean , i liked having a desk and storage space, good bathroom and shower cabin, toilet is unusually high but it's fine , cleaning service was good and nice. Fast access to tram station and supermarket nearby. Window has a nice view of the street and it's very quiet at night, no problems. The staff was very friendly and nice snd helpful!

Ran out of shampoo on 2nd day and didn't get refill. I think rooms with bathroom included are a bit too extra expensive just to have a bathroom which should be standard. Sometimes you can hear noise from bathroom from other neighbours or water thru pipes could be a bit noisy at night. The blinds don't completely make dark in the room and you can't also completely pull them to open the windows fully but it's a minor thing. 1. Person bed is a bit small for me but it was serviceable and did it's job

Quite nice small hotel for a short stay in Bonn. Really good location not far from the city center. Hotel is located on the street with a tram, so you can use it to reach other parts of the city. But its not loud, so no problem with sleeping. Staff is very friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast was fine - you can always find several types of omelets,cereals or make a sandwich.

Parking process can be quite hard. Driving to the parking goes through a tunnel of less than 2.5 meter wide. So its a real challenge to drive there especially with a big car. Inside there is a small paring space, but its not a problem if you managed to drive inside.

It's a lovely medium-size hotel in a nice district. We used it as a base for exploring the Mosel and Rhine valleys but it's perfect for exploring Bonn as well. Free parking was very much appreciated. The staff are extremely helpful and obliging. First-rate!

The only thing that we missed was a fridge/mini-bar because we needed to keep milk and food cold during our stay.

Breakfast was great- lots of fresh options and quality. Sustainability is important to me - so use of glasses rather than plastic and other policies make this a good personal choice. Staff were super!!

wish there had been a tea kettle in the room or accessible. I was able to ask staff for hot water (which I did once a day for the night), but it seemed to inconvenience them.

The hotel is very beautiful, clean, the rooms are big, the bathroom is spacious. I really liked this hotel. It is located in a quiet area full of beautiful houses. I arrived quickly in the center either by tram, bus or personal car. The breakfast was good and varied. They have a parking space in the inner courtyard of the hotel and if there were no more spaces, they let us park in the spaces in front of the hotel. The staff was very nice and spoke English.

I have nothing to complain about. I felt very good.

Nice little hotel with friendly check-in staff at reception. We were allowed to check-in slightly earlier than the allocated time which was a bonus as it meant we could spend more time in the centre of Bonn. Room was downstairs and initially seemed a little stuffy but we left the windows open all night and it turned out to be nice and cool. Shame that no tea/coffee facilities were available in the room. Beds comfortable. Shower nice and powerful. Good parking available too for our motorcycles.

Sometimes it's nice to have tea and coffee facilities for basic refreshments.

The staff was extremely nice. I arrived later in the afternoon and they made me feel welcome + provided all relevant information into the surroundings. As I was travelling for business meetings, they offered to waive the city tourist tax. They also helped with my laundry, which I needed fast before continuing the journey. The hotel is located just about 1km from the Museum Koenig Station (Tram 66 coming straight from the Central Station), and just in front you have also connection to the tram network of the city. The town is quite nice, with supermarkets, shops and restaurants very close by. Internet was fast, which was helpful as I was having meetings and calls during the time there.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We had a large room with 2 double beds as we were 2 adults and 2 children. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. The shower in particular was really nice with a lot of water pressure. The location was great for us as we were only staying 1 night on our way through Bonn. There is a grocery closeby with decent operating hours, this was great for us. We also enjoyed the breakfast. It was a standard hotel breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausages, cereals, yogurts, bread, meat, cheeses and vegetables. Of course coffee and juice as well. The dining area was clean and there were attendants always cleaning or restocking items. Overall it was a great stay.

The only downside we found was the parking. The entry to the parking is very very small and you can see where a lot of people have sit the sides. It is tall enough but our VW T6 van wouldn't fit. I would have liked to know this prior to coming. Luckily there is some street parking and we were able to find a place closeby. Also, the kids were disappointed that a lot of the channels on the television were locked such as Nick Jr. There were plenty of radio and news channels though.

Great breakfast. Nice staff. VERY clean! Back room was very quiet, only birds chirping! Ahr Valley for wine tasting was only 35 mins away by car.

No place to sit outside while waiting for ride to arrive; we were there for 6 days and only had one complimentary bottled water. Toilet paper was rough.
