My room was right up on 16th floor (I requested a quiet room, and it really was!) The bed was extremely comfortable and the en-suite shower was excellent. I had a lovely chaise longue in the room for reading, which I used in the evenings - very pleasant. The rooftop bar is exceptional - I spent a happy evening in the sun with some very good beers and tasty food, with a view over the river and the whole city - strongly recommend. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and multi-lingual. Overall: the perfect business hotel - easy location for the World Conference Center and anywhere in the city on the U-Bahn (underground train) - there's a station very close by.

Room had an excellent river side view; facilities inside were good. The bathroom was spacious and clean. You can do nice stroll along the river bank which is 2 minutes away and a beautiful public park 5 minutes away. One can walk to the city centre which is 15-20 minutes away through the beautiful Bonn University. Alternatively, there is local public transport (bus/train) in 2-4 minutes distance. The inter-city/regional train station (Bonn UN Campus) is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. It is a great place for those who love a quiet environ.

Although the breakfast was excellent, it felt repetitive over a 4 day period. Some additions/modifications to daily menu may be a better idea for people staying longer and eating breakfast there. We were told that complementary drinking water was not part of the room 'package', which felt a bit strange.

We had a great stay! The staff were really friendly and helpful, I even forgot something in our room after checking out, and they kindly sent it back to me. The room was super clean, and the view over the river was really nice. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which had a good variety and tasted fresh. The wellness area was a nice bonus and gave us something relaxing to do during our stay. Would definitely recommend!

The room service pizza wasn’t great. We were also hoping to enjoy the rooftop bar, but it was too busy, and the ground floor bar felt just okay. We asked them for drinks around 10pm and were told they had run out of ice, and no alternative was offered. It felt like the staff just didn’t really want to serve, so we ended up going back to our room without enjoying drinks :(

The hotel occupies a really prominent place, in the midst of the former institutions of the federal government, directly on the shore of the Rhine, and some 100m from the underground station Heuss-Allee.

I was surprised by a number of deficiencies of my room: It lacks a central light on the ceiling, there are only faint lamps above the desk and over the bedside tables. from the high floors, there could be great view, even towards the city, but windows are too small to enjoy it fully. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub instead of a shower cabin, with an inconvenient control of volume and heat by buttons instead of valves. During the night, my sleep was disturbed by a penetrant humming noise emanating from inside one of the closets.

We only stayed one night. Overall everything was fine. We had slippers in the room which was good, but no bathrobe. We could pick them up at the reception though. We didn't try the hotel breakfast, as we had plans for brunching with friends elsewhere. But we also thought 29 euro pp is very steep. We also recommend parking in the parkhouse just right opposite of the Marriott (that one is capped at 15 euro max/day). Rooms are slightly dated and I personally never like rooms with carpets (not hygienic) but thats personal. Price/value is alright as the rooms are fairly spacious. The Marriott has a fairly large fitness and sauna area for a Hotel, however it is also accessible for people with a membership. That can make the wellness area busy. We didnt mind and it was not crazy busy either, but i can imagine other people would. Sauna area was fine and relaxing. (Pool and no textile sauna area are seperated)

no trash bags in the room/bins - sustainibility is a good concept, but we were travelling with a toddler, so yes, I need some plastic trashbag in the bins.

Great location for the river views from Skybar. Superb leisure facilities although pool photo is slightly misleading in terms of its size.

Our shower didn’t work and despite promises and assurances that it was fixed it actually wasn’t. Initially handled very poorly by reception team but thanks to some great work by Stefanie, my friend and felt as if our complaint had been handled with the courtesy and due diligence it required. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice and very good staff in the Skybar. Staff in the reception bar not quite as receptive or capable of meeting customer ambiance.

The location near the river was very nice. We enjoyed a walk along the river when we arrived. And we loved having a drink on the 17th floor with amazing views of the river. However there weren’t many restaurants to go to around the hotel. We normally like to go out from the hotel in the evening. Our room was very nice.

Our shower was very good when it worked. It wouldn’t always change from the water flow to the bath over to the shower. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t. I had to go down to the Swimming pool for a shower on our final morning. At breakfast I felt the choice of eggs was disappointing. Boiled eggs or very solid scrambled eggs. The other breakfast choices were very good.

The hotel is located at the bank of the Rhine river and the view from our room was out of this world. The description doesn't mention Sauna but they have an amazing sauna. The bar is pretty good as well.

The elevators take forever to come even though they had 4 of them. The one for the SPA are separate and they even take longer. The schandellier at the arrivals look cheap with half of the plastic balls collapsed and there were thick spider web not cleaned in years.

I loved the pool and spa. The breakfast was very nice. The staff at the reception were also very nice and helpful. The hotel is close to the public transportation, as well as the Rhein river for sightseeing.

We had problems using the parking ticket every time we wanted to leave the parking garage. We paid for a 24 hour ticket which was quite expensive, and yet, we had diffulties using the ticket. It was quite inconveniencing.

Breakfast has a lot of different options (although not all of the food items were refilled within short time). Room is big and bed is very comfortable. Also it is convenient that there is an underground parking in the hotel.

Initially there were no big towels in the bathroom. Also the spa area was very crowded, it was difficult to find a spot. Also during the breakfast one of coffee machines was not working.
