Patrick in the reception was very helpful and welcoming when we arrived. We liked the "raw" design of the hotel and the rooms very much. The bed was comfy. Location was perfect for ours wishes - close to sea-view and the city, but still nice an quiet.

Due to the historic building, the baths and the toilet made a vaccum-sound when uset. We could hear it from the other rooms as well, but we where told so by arrival and in the big picture it was not an issue. Housekeeping where knocking on all doors at 9 o'clock saturday morning. After a late night out, it would have been nice to sleep a little longer :)

Breakfast has a decent spread with multiple options to suit different individual tastes. Staff was helpful and speaks fluent English and Deutsch. Rooms have nice views of the harbor yet are relatively quiet. Bathrooms are compact but functional and elegant.

Reception at the top floor! Always irks me but well that's also one of the reasons I remember GINN Hamburg! Bathrooms can feel bit cramped but its fine

The interieur was really high quality and beautiful. Our room had "city view", but the harbour was also visible, which was magical with its lights, especially during the night.

The staff was a little clumsy. Some of them wear sweatshirt (official one, with the hotel logo), they were not always at the reception desk. I would expect a bit more elegance and professionalism from a 4 star hotel. My other problem was with the mini bar, which was a vending machine at the corridor. This is a great solution in my opinion, but it was only possible to buy a drink from it with german ID, so it was totally useless for us and it was quite annoying..

Technically very good, very good light switches and lamps set up, warm water immediately, TV, etc. General stylish design of lobby, corridors, room. Location on the river, not far from center, 20-30 minutes of nice walk.

A bit noisy water drain system, a bit small room. Not critical. But critical: very poor wifi in room and no mobile data reception (2nd floor). Had to go to lobby to phone by mobile data, because wifi is bad there too.

The hotel is located in a cool historical building, previously it was either a port warehouse or a factory. There are metal rivets inside — steam punk :) The surroundings are super! Charm! In the morning — a good breakfast. On the roof there is a restaurant with an excellent view of the port; in the evening you can drink beer and enjoy the view. The room is locked with a code, you don’t need to carry any keys or cards, it’s very convenient. But if you want, you can take a traditional key (I didn’t). The room has a desk where you can work on the computer. The Internet is excellent. There was also a TV, but I didn’t turn it on. The staff is very friendly. If I need to go to Hamburg again, I will choose this hotel.

The menu at the rooftop restaurant is very limited, the waiters are very slow. It's better to have dinner somewhere else. I haven't find any other shortcomings.

Nice modern hotel at harbour side location

I didn’t see any staff for the entirety off my stay. I’d describe it more as a modern boarding house rather than a hotel. All doors open by key codes which proved to be very difficult to operate. When I arrived the steps up to the entrance were blocked by drinking concert visitors.

Would have loved a room with a view. Otherwise, the place was well designed, clean, staff was pleasant.

Hotel bar/restaurant working hours could have been longer. Also, you should really advertise the view. Could make a real attraction place there!!

Beautiful industrial design of the building end beautiful interior in the room, I guess specifically designed for the room. Very clean. Excellent location at the Elbe. Nice bar at the upper floor of the building.

Only one chair in the room, so one of us had to sit on the bed. The room was spaceous enough for 2 chairs. After taking a shower the floor of the bathroom was completely wet.

I travelled for business and I had to stay in this hotel due to the close location (had no other choice). Hotel itself is nice and clean.

No mini bar in the room (mini bar stays completely empty). Only 1 bottle of complimentary water throughout the whole stay (I stayed for 4 nights); It was super cold in the room (no AC, so I could not find how to make the temperature warmer in the room).

Very professional and kind staff, Reception offered to book a taxi for departure, suggested how to book scheduled security check in the airport. Restaurant staff was very attentive and offered extra meal options for bfast. Was offered extra complimentary water to the room.

There is a bar-restaurant downstairs, can hear load talks outside. Sound isolation was poor
