The rooms were very comfortable and fresh. Enough room for bags and well placed furnishings. Nice bathroom. Super convenient to the train system which can get you directly to the airport (two trains). Regretfully we moved to another hotel before our flight and had to walk 1.5km to get to the airport - whereas if we stayed here we would have avoided the long walk. The restaurant was great.

We slept better than at home! Even from the first night. The staff were among the friendliest I've ever experienced. We really liked that they were so diverse. The concern for the environment was excellent; the location and price just right for us; the room was smallish but well-laid out, easily navigable for two people. We liked the security features in the elevator, and that we could connect our computers to the large screen, using it as a monitor, e.g. to watch our choice of movies. The wi-fi was excellent, no problems at all with connection or bandwidth. It's a small detail, but we also liked that our room-carpet gave the exact geographical location of the hotel, down to the arc-minute of latitude and longitude. I can't say why, but that small detail made us feel...more settled, verortet, in our room. Generally the interior design had a nautical theme, which reminded us of Hamburg's long history of shipping.

Very easy to reach by public transport. My room was on the street side and very quiet. The gym is very small but at least there is something and I was alone the whole time.

Check in and check out process was very time consuming although I had entered all the data needed when booking. Especially during the check out I had to wait about 20 minutes because even though it was peak time for the check out (right after the breakfast all business trip guests were leaving) there was only one receptionist and I had to re-enter the info to get an invoice.

The staff were amazing, Close proximity to the U-Bahn and S-Bahn Station (literally across the street) with direct access to the airport and the city center and all major attractions in Hamburg. The Breakfast was Amazing (although it might be lacking in variety for some). The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Also the internet connection was good which allowed me to participate in long zoom meetings without issues.

The only problem I encountered was that they advertise that the rooms have Air-Conditioning which in a way is true, but it doesn't operate when the outside temperature is below 20C, which lead to some hot days and nights in the room. (I did talk to the reception desk about this, thinking there was a malfunction in the AC, and this is the explanation I got)

Great location, only 3 minutes to the metro and 20 minutes to the city center. Clean and nicely decorated rooms, although smaller than what we expected. The hotel lobby and bar create a good impression for guests.

A rude and disinterested receptionist who speaks incomprehensible English told us that the room was on the second floor even though it was on the third floor! Quite bad if you have just arrived from a long journey. The rest of the staff was correct. The hotel garage was busy, so we had to park in the garage which is 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Worst of all - literally 5 meters behind the hotel there is a subway and a train. All day and most of the night the noise was unbearable and it was quite difficult to get a good sleep! We believe that it is completely different in the rooms located on the street side of the hotel.

Very nice and quiet room. I did not hear the noisy railroad in my room. Beautiful sunset view from my window. To bad the hotel restaurant was closed (although the sign indicated it should already be open again). Staff could have been a bit more friendly. Didn’t provide a warm welcoming feeling. Problem ist they sit on a chair behond the counter. Standing up and looking the guests straight in the face would be so much better. Still, I will probably return here.

Amazing staff, super friendly. I loved the style of the room, very modern and clean. I liked the fact that there was a parking garage (though it had quite a limited amount of places). The location was very handy, within a few minutes you are at a very convenient metro station. Breakfast was very good, and the restaurant also had a really good hamburger for dinner.

The room was very warm. The ventilation did not seem to do much. Opening a window was the only solution, but my room was directly above the metro / train rails, so that was very noisy.

Room was silent and meticulously clean, the ambient is friendly and cozy. Bed is very comfortable. It's positive that there is possibility to choose if I need room cleaning or not and easy to signal it with the little bag. Wifi was stable and strong enough when I needed it. Breakfast has many wide ranged offers and you can make real espresso, which also a plus! It's free to make tea whole day. Staff was very helpful and nice. Thank you!

Would be more practical if there were a tea machine at the entrance of the bar too, because it is little bit uncomfortable to walk through the whole restaurant every time i'd make a tea (especially, because it's an open bar for the public as well).

We liked the rooms and the breakfast was also very good. The hotel is next to Hamburg-Barmbek railway station (3 minutes walk) with connections via U3 metro and S1 metropolitan train to the city center (12 min to central station).

Although the windows are highly soundproof you can still hear the noise from the adjacent railroad and metro tracks when your room is on the eastern side of the hotel. On the western side there is a busy road which could also cause some noise but we don't know if this is disturbing because our room was on the eastern side.

Super clean, nice location close to the airport. High guality facilities and helpful staff.

Breakfast time finishs at 10 ok, but turning chairs on the tables at 10 o'clock?!!! was really annoying. It's not a really good impression for guests still having their remaining breakfast on the table. Staff could first start with taking food away and then come to chairs and clean the tables. Of course, this is a management issue 🙄
