Lots of atmosphere and great style, convenient to Hammerbrook station which means only station to Hauptbahnhof. I didn’t partake in the breakfast but it smelled delicious. Had a cocktail in the bar one night which was good.

It wasn’t super comfortable, it had beautiful furniture and style but none of it was actually comfortable. The internet was down for the first night/day of my stay which the staff were suffering from the most but there was no communication about it being a problem apart from manual check in and was inconvenient to not have when travelling in another country.

The hotel was very clean and modern, in a good location short walk to Hammerbrook station which is a short journey to the main central station with all connections from there. All staff we met were friendly and spoke excellent English. Breakfast is buffet style and had plenty to choose from (we had breakfast included in the price and was well worth it) The room was clean and spacious and the TV had many channels in multiple languages with a small room pad with all hotel information you could need. There was a coffee machine in the room with pods, but no kettle. We did end up asking for a kettle and the staff were more than happy to supply us with one for the remainder of our stay. The bathroom facilities consisted of a 3 in 1 hand, body and hair wash which was sufficient, but no other toiletries were supplied (good or bad depending on if you brought your own, but it does cut down on unnecessary plastic waste). If you have problematic hair or sensitive skin you may be best to bring your own toiletries with you or buy them in the city.

No fault of the hotel however road works outside were quite loud.

The staff were Amazing even when I had a mix-up with booking they fixed it and gave us a new upgraded room, with not much extra to pay. I really appreciated their quick help and empathy. The Breakfast was amazing, plenty of food. Staff very attentive. The whole decor and environment is fabulous. Trains very near and so easy to use to get around. Definitely stay again 200%

I did not like the food in Restaurant in evening felt it was overpriced and average, so did not eat there again.

I really liked my stay at this hotel. It was just so beautiful and different. They paid a lot of attention to colours and details and I loved their chic aesthetics. Bar and restaurant area were very good, with good music, nice choice of food and drinks, and especially people working at the bar were so positive, laid back and friendly. The room was comfortable, towels changed every day (something I really appreciated), coffee machine with a few different coffee types including decaf, which was nice. Ladies working at the reception were also very nice, and gave us a lot of useful information regarding public transportation. Very cool hotel.

Cleaning ladies opened the door to the room each day while I was still in the room, which was a bit uncomfortable.

Clean, comfortable, quiet hotel. Superb breakfast. We also appreciated the treat of bottles of sparkling water, snacks and sweets for free. Subway a three minute walk away, and only one stop from the main railway station.

The parking garage is very small, and quite expensive. The room was quite small, and the bathroom had a sliding door made of glass next to the bed (which was quite disturbing if one of us needed the bathroom when the other one was asleep).

Very modern hotel, great comfortable room, great bar with amazing staff! Best part was the breakfast, it was insane! The choices, the quality. You could stay for days and never having the same thing twice..

Only one detail about the room. The door to the bathroom was a glass door facing the bed. If you or your partner need to get up during the night to use the bathroom, turning on the light will illuminate the entire bedroom and most likely wake up your partner. A none transluciant door would've been better.

Quiet room Pretty good breakfast with on the spot eggs and omelette. Well decorated

The water thing was weird and looked suspicious: they say they offer you bottles of water but you have to come back later?! On the next day, a friend joined us and was told the exact same thing... it was like they were not willing to give these free bottles of waters after all and that you had to beg for them... Neighborhood is not worth walking around, best to take the metro right away. Not a perfect spot if you want to walk around the city as it's not in the city center. It's only one stop using the S line though. A bit further from the U line.

The hotel and the rooms decor is really cool, and it makes a change being in a hotel with such character. The shower was excellent and small touches like coffee, tea, dried fruits etc in reception were a nice touch.

The hotel location isn't the best, granted the transport system nearby makes up for it. One stop from hauptbahnhof, five stops to Reeperbahn. Not particularly far from the airport but a bit of walk to/from berliner tor for the direct line to the airport. A cab ride is not too expensive as an alternative. Breakfast was nice but could have been better. I recommend having it unless you are an early riser who gets out into the town quickly of a morning. Twin beds pushed together make me sad but I slept well.

The room was clean. There are different types of pillows, so you can easily choose the one for yourself. Good choice of food for breakfast, but enormous queues to get it.

They should somehow regulate people going for breakfast, maybe make time registration, because the capacity of restaurant can't allow all guests to find tables. The same is true with cleaning tables and bringing food that finished. There is no bottled water in the room. Parking was not available. But parking was crucial for us while choosing the hotel to stay.

The property is well designed and has a Uber cool ambiance. Also it was clean.

The staff were standoffish - my check out time was 12 pm the key to my room was deactivated at 11.45 am I had to go back to the reception requesting a late checkout of 12.30 pm. They accepted the request and told me the key was reactivated, I went back up this time the lift was working but again the room did not open, I had to go back to the reception a second time and they didn’t even apologize for this inconvenience. They just took the key card and reset it. Not sure if they were annoyed for my half an hour late check out or if that’s just the general attitude of the reception staff there. But definitely if I go to Hamburg again it’s not going to be my place of choice to stay.
