Top location, 2 min walking distance to a nice square beneath the imperial castle with Cafe Wanderer, and another 2 min to the castle. 2 min in the other direction to the main square with Frauenkirche, and just around the corner is the river and lots of nice cafes all around. This is down town. Staff was very nice, hotel is small, has a lift. You have an option of a buffet breakfast. And if you are lucky enough with a big car and a free spot, you can park your car just in front of the entrance. Wow.

Almost nothing. For this commodities, location and really nice stuff this is as good as it gets for this kind od money. Ok, wouldn't hurt if rooms were just a bit bigger, but even as it was, was OK. Since the hotel is located between the houses, don't expect a top of the hill vista.

Solid, no frills, great-value place to stay in Nuremberg in a prime location. Steps away from the Dürer house museum and Kaiserburg castle. Room was quiet, comfortable, clean, tastefully decorated, with a view of a cute courtyard garden. The shower was excellent.

Arriving by rental car was a bit stressful as most of the area around the hotel is a pedestrian zone and the navigation system kept directing me to turn onto streets with signs that said you aren’t allowed to drive on them - I actually got stopped by the police just before getting to the hotel. Even though the hotel offers parking, it was rather confusing for how exactly to get there.

I had a very nice stay for five nights at the Hoel Agneshof Nuremberg. In November.. The hotel was located in the old town and was very close to all the major sites. The hotel was in a side street and so it was central but quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. I stayed in one of the comfort rooms of the hotel which faced the back of the hotel and so it was very quiet . There were many nice restaurants near by the hotel . I had the hotel breakfast each morning with was very nice lovely clean bright room and I very much enjoyed the coffee. I would definitely stay at this hotel again .

The shower in the room I was in was quite small and might be a bit difficult some some people with mobility issues because it’s a bit of a step up and off and there is not really a handle to hold on to I had to go very careful getting in and out of the shower. You do have to be a bit mindful of the bathroom door stopper that is right in front of the toilet.

Location in old town is excellent. Breakfast had a very nice selection of hot/cold/sweet/savory choices. Room was quiet, heating good, hot water plentiful and nice shower pressure. Bed extremely firm, but not to the point of being uncomfortable. Helpful tourist pamphlets and maps available in the lobby.

The showerhead pointed directly at the shower doors, which needed to close at just the right angle (while having small gaps underneath); made it very easy to flood the bathroom. I stayed for 5 nights, and my wifi expired the night before my departure, instead of in the morning.

Agneshof has everything one needs for a weekend stay in Nürnberg. The location is absolutely perfect, the beds are comfy, the pressure in shower is fantastic, staff is very nice and attentive, the room is clean, it’s very quiet at night even though it’s very central.

I love a coffee machine in the room although in this hotel breakfast starts at 6:15am so I didn’t really feel the lack of coffee in the morning. We stayed in room 200 which has small glass window between the bathroom and the kitchen. My husband got up early to go to the bathroom and woke me up when he turned the light on in the room as it was almost as bright as in the bathroom 🙈

The staff were nice. The rooms were bigger than we expected. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was great. We liked that we had two windows that opened into a narrow street with little traffic.

The hotel was a bit difficult to get to with public transportation. It is across town from the train station and the buses and S Bahn required a lot of walking to get to. There were not many places for good food directly nearby.

Searching for holiday lodgings is a thrilling pastime, perusing fine establishments while weighing up the pros, cons and features of each. During a festival time however this can be a little disheartening as the options decline and prices climb. Finding this gem was undoubtedly the highlight of an otherwise gloomy afternoon. Striking an ideal balance between modernity and uncompromising coziness, I was impressed by absolutely everything contained within the walls of this remarkable establishment.

Staff didn't laugh at my joke on check in however on recollection the liability of that lies entirely with me.

The location is great, in the heart of the old town. The room on the garden side was quiet and very relaxing. We arrived early in the morning, and we were checked in without problems. It was very good, because we were waking up at 4 o'clock to catch the flight. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast is also very good - everything you might want. So, thank you, good people. We had a great vacation with you!

The room had a strange window on its wall that was with blurred glass but still quite visible. It was just in front of the toilet, and that interrupted the privacy. Also, I would suggest having a thin curtain on the windows. It will give more home atmosphere.

It’s in old town, in a block just below the castle, very convenient and walking distance to historic places. 20mins walk to Nürnberg main train station where the walk is along the shopping area and St. Lorenz Church. The hotel itself is nice and has a bar and patio for outdoor sitting. My room has newsletter on activities list to experience around and restaurant recommendation, very informative. They offer laundry service on weekdays! Very good value for money I definitely recommend this hotel as your base to explore the city. Breakfast option was very good, very attentive hostesses.

Everything was perfect about this place for the price we paid! Location was fantastic, 2 minute walk from the castle, 10 minutes to the ‘main street’, 5 minutes to the Christmas market. Numerous eating and drinking options in the area, and many many more just a short distance away. Main station was a 20 minutes walk. Size of room was excellent also, and it was a quiet street.
