Wonderful location in a vibrant, historical area. Great place to stay and walk to the Christmas markets, only about a 10 minute walk. Very nice staff at the hotel, all very helpful and kind. We had the room that accommodates 4 people. It was wonderful, and really big. 2 large bedrooms and 1 huge bathroom. It had everything you needed. Each room has its own balcony. There was plenty of natural light coming in. The breakfast was really nice with a little bit of everything, and the staff were all friendly. I would stay here again without hesitation.

I really liked everything. The only thing I would do..the room walls are all bare without pictures, or any decor at all really. I would put up some pictures of Nuremberg on the walls, or pictures of Albrecht Durer would be great.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is in Old Town near the castle walls. Just a short walk outside you will be in a friendly cobblestone plaza where locals share a beer and maybe a few sausages in a lively but not overly loud environment. You will be reasonable close to two U-bahn stops U3 and U1 and you will feel like you are in living in a different time.

The main thing I did not like was that the gym was very hard to get to and located in an obscure place. I had toask for the key and a guide from the front desk to get there and even the guide (who was new) had a hard time finding it. It is there, as is the sauna, but it is not easy to access in my opinion.

Excellent hotel - quiet, peaceful, clean, tidy and with all the necessary amenities. Excellent breakfast. Very beautiful garden to relax in and enjoy the flowers. Excellent location - next to the castle and within walking distance of the historic center.

I missed espresso at breakfast. Installing an espresso machine is the only thing that can take a traveler's stay from great to incredible.

Fantastic location - it is in a beautiful part of Nuremberg. Reception and breakfast staff were friendly. Breakfast was good and I liked room. It was good value for money.

Housekeeping kept trying to clean my room at 8.30am everyday, even on the day I was checking out. On the last morning I put the do not disturb sign on my door when I went down to breakfast at 8.30am and house keeping rushed to my door to clean it, saw the sign and left it. As I was leaving around 9.30am to check out, I forgot to remove the do not disturb sign and was told off by house keeping for leaving it on. I was a bit surprised by their aggression considering it was just a sign. I did wonder what would have happened if I hadn’t put the sign on the door because they would have cleaned the room before I had checked out, leaving the room unclean for the next person. Perhaps I could have put the do not disturb sign on my door overnight but then I thought they would not clean it at all.

The location was ideal, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were large and clean. Breakfast was an elegant and hearty experience. Excellent service from Roderigo at breakfast. He was attentive and friendly. The beautifully decorated lobby was warm and cozy. The perfect place to relax on the couches by the Christmas tree. There was also seating that allowed us to play cards after visiting the nearby Christmas market.

Having to check out! Our sons did not think the WiFi was fast enough.

I visited Nürnberg during Christmas and had a fantastic stay at the Dürer Hotel. The location was excellent, breakfast had a very broad selection, the staff was incredibly helpful, and they even provided guests with a little glühwein & lebkuchen voucher. If I visit Nürnberg again, I’ll definitely stay at the Dürer Hotel.

Information on Booking about parking was ambiguous on the customer point of view, not clear if was free or not. It says private parking (but owned by the hotel), not from a 3rd party, so I didnt expect to pay for it, but in the end it was paid. Not a big deal, but this needs to be more clear to avoid future confusions.

Location, clean, beautiful back yard, convenient parking against a fee.

When I checked out at 6am to get to the airport I was told that check out isn’t until 7am, I should have checked out the night before. That’s the first time I heard about fixed check out times. Luckily someone was there to check me out but it should have been communicated at check in.

Exceptional hotel in best location of old town Nuremberg. Hotel has underground parking which is exceptionally good for this part of town. Hotel is also pet friendly. Great breakfast! Super friendly, courteous and professional staff help to make the stay in this stay truly exceptional. Thank you to all staff of this hotel!

Fantastic selection at the breakfast buffet, bring your appetite! The bar was open late as well which was nice. The location can't be beat - a few minutes walk to the Christmas Market with lots of dining and bars nearby and the beautiful lit wall just up the street. The parking is a little odd but I was thankful to have my rental car parked indoors over a snowy December weekend.
