The view !!!!!! Such a gorgeous pool and breakfast room ! That view never tires ! The staff were exceptional !! From Irene at the front desk - she is such an engaging lovely woman ! She made us feel like we were the only guests !! 💕💕💕 Zoe and the sweet gentleman at the pool cafe/ dining area . They both were super kind and helpful at every turn ! Also the lady at breakfast , she had a sweet smile and a really gentle spirit- these folks truly made this hotel experience exceptional . The facilities were dated as per the other reviews and the a/c really does not cool the room , but the shower was great ! Also the breakfast was phenomenal !! Not like previous reviews saying basic . It went beyond delicious !!

The ac is poor, the beds are super low to the ground - harder for older folks !!

Staying at Hotel Meteora in Kastraki was an amazing experience! The pool with a view of the Meteora rocks is absolutely next-level — truly unforgettable. It’s the perfect spot to relax and take in the incredible scenery. The food at the hotel was really good, and the service was top-notch. Everyone was friendly, professional, and made us feel very welcome. The whole place has a special atmosphere — calm, cozy, and ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring. It’s also a perfect base for visiting the Meteora monasteries.

The view is absolutely gorgeous and the pool to enjoy the view made it even better! The staff was very nice and the beds were comfortable. Beautiful place to rest for a night.

We booked a family room that had two sectioned rooms and one of them the air conditioning did not work, and the electrical outlets on the whole wall with the TV and coffee did not work. Only gave two little waters in the room during summer and was charged money for additional water. Wasn't the greatest value for money.

The views from the room balconies and the high pressure showers with updated bathrooms were the highlights. Beds were comfortable but rooms were relatively plain with small televisions. Reception staff were not friendly but the waiter in the restaurant/pool area was wonderful. Location is a short walk or drive from town. Parking was easy and right in front of hotel.

Relative budget hotel with plain rooms. Not bad for a one or two night stay. Pool was chilly but a good amenity for children.

Location was excellent. Outside of the town, so a car is needed for transportation and if you want to eat in town. The pool was not heated but even in October we risked a swim. We had a wonderful suite with two bedrooms and one bathroom that had a balcony and a direct view of Meteora.

The on site restaurant was not that good. Although off season, they had a big group and the lady serving was overwhelmed to the point that she forgot our deserts and seemed irritated of our presence. The food was overpriced and not that good. Better drive into town, plenty of taverns.

The location is beatiful. This hotel is worth at least because waking up, you will see a phantastic view of Meteora. Then, you will not want to leave a balcony. There is plenty of parking place. The staff is perfect, the restaurant lady was so helpful to us. And the dinner in the evening hotel restaurant was worth of it. We liked the hotel. If I will visit Meteora again, I will foremost consider this hotel. It is a bit out of the town, but it is easy to reach both the town and the Meteora itself.

Excellent location (but slightly out of town) and with very nice views of Meteora, staff were pleasant and friendly, easy parking just outside hotel (at least during our stay in April), modern and clean bathroom.

Room itself (other than bathroom) is a bit dated, breakfast choices rather limited and overall was a bit bland, location is beautiful but slightly out of town so driving is necessary everytime one needs to go to town to eat etc.

This family run hotel is very close to Meteora. Having a pool was key after a hot day of visiting the monasteries. The bar service to the pool was great. Dinner was delicious with many well made traditional dishes. Breakfast was fantastic with a large variety of food. You get a nice sunrise at the pool which was a bonus. The best part was the staff, especially Irini. Everyone there is super friendly.

Unbelievable location and facilities. Close to all the monasteries and village. The swimming pool and the balcony in our room had the most amazing views !! Worth it 100% The room itself was very spacious and quiet. The bathroom big and clean.

The restaurant at the hotel was quite expensive and the food was not traditionally greek- was more tailored to tourists with burgers, sandwiches and that sort of stuff. The pool area was again amazing but unfortunately there aren’t enough sun beds for all the guests

upon arrival, we turned the key to our room and it was really a disappointment, no view, on the dark side and not very spacious. I instantly rang reception and the lady told us she had one other room that had interconnecting rooms so we were moved to that and goodness I was so grateful to her (thank you!) as it was superbly spacious, big bedrooms, big bathroom, big balcony and what a view! We were over the moon as our whole trip was about seeing the Meteora and at the time of booking the hotel, I do not recall a large room being available for me to select. The rooms themselves are very simply furnished, a little old style and the beds not magnificently comfortable but they were adequate. But compared to the initial room on a lower level with no view over the Meteora, it far, far exceeded our expectations and as we were there for 3 nights, we really welcomed the extra space. At night, the view from the balcony was absolutely magnificent. I have to say all the staff on the reception desk were excellent and had good English. Location was fantastic and you literally have a whole choice of restaurants in very nearby Kastraki town or you can drive a little further into Kalampaka itself. The view from the pool is exactly as the photos portray it

We all felt breakfast could have been a bit better. Whilst there was a very big choice, there was no variation on any of the mornings we were there. The pool was a fantastic size and a good number of loungers and beanbags available to all. However, the water in the pool was very, very cloudy and green and we stayed in 4 different hotels with pools on our trip, we can say the water in this pool was the least clean for sure so that was disappointing.
