We really enjoyed staying at Sun City. The family running the hotel are really lovely and made us feel very welcomed. The room we stayed in was a bit small but that didn’t bother us at all as it was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The hotel has a great location as it is very close to restaurants, bus stop, two big supermarkets, car rentals and also nice sandy beaches.

We were on first floor where the WiFi connection wasn’t stable and only worked some of the time.

It's our second time staying at Sun City and it was another 10 star experience! The hospitality was exceptional, hotel is charming, spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The friendly atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Location is great near a few lovely beaches, we recommend Yanis beach where we spent most of our time and some great tavernas yet it is in a quiet area. It's easy to catch a bus to the Chania, making exploring super convenient. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming place to stay. We look forward to our next visit. The entire family that runs the hotel is so nice you feel like you are at home. Rooms are big and allow you to take the best rest possible. There is a swimming pool in front of the hotel,there is also a nice small bar with great people working in it. Have a beer or whatever drink you want and meet people from all around the world - the best experience ever and like a big happy family. You can also decide for a breakfast there or to grab a quicl snack. And also beatiful beaches are just a few minutes away. Across the road there are 2 great restaurants which give you chance to explore great greek cuisine (Angelo and Oregano). I would recommend Sun City to everyone who wants to have a relaxing vacation and feel like being there before even if it is the first time. Gina and the family - you are the best and really thanks for everything from heart!

Great host, very helpful, nice and welcoming staff, one of the largest family apartments in the town, nice pool, great location next to beaches and supermarkets. We really appreciate the grass and the plants in the area making it look like a small oasis on a busy street. Stayed there for our second time. Big thanks to Gina and the other staff for accommodating our extra needs and being helpful!

If I had to be picky, I'd wish the water pressure in the shower was higher, the WiFi signal in the family apartment stronger (had to go down to the pool / reception for getting good connection). The facilities are all working and perfectly useable, but far from new and could use an upgrade. There is nothing the hotel can do with it, but the street it is located on can be quite noisy if you have a baby sleeping.

The room had everything we needed. Super cozy, it feels more like a family home than a hotel, it’s lovely! It was well equipped and even had a little stove so we could make our own food, and the traditional breakfast was delicious. The staff was super nice and friendly, we got to know truly great people that made a very positive difference in our stay, we will 100% stay there again when we go back to Crete. It’s also walking distance from amazing beaches, and spending a day at the pool is well worth it!

We have just returned from here. This family run hotel was lovely and they were so friendly, we felt like family. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Lovely clean rooms, cleaned daily, lovely pool. Location perfect, Lidl next door, beach 5 min walk, many restaurants to choice from. Safe and air con in rooms. Lovely relaxed hotel and area. We loved it and will definitely be returning. You can see the mountains from here, we hired a car, sorted by the owner, driving up to the mountains was amazing

Truly lovely run by a wonderful family. Very comfortable, always greet you with a smile, rooms are quickly attended to. The family will answer any questions you may have and direct you to your personal goals. From this hotel you are a hop skip and jump to 4+ wonderful beaches, all walking distance and at least 4+ restaurants, two immediately across from you. Directly beside a supermarket. They offer coffee, drinks, breakfast foods, sandwiches salads all by the pool, in the comforts of their property, security at night. Would come again.

Bathrooms are a bit dated but everything works.

My partner and I stayed Friday-Monday this weekend and had a brilliant time. Not only were the staff and owners extremely friendly but the service itself was also excellent! The rooms were simple but just what you need for a holiday, we were offered housekeeping everyday of our stay and the rooms and pool area were kept lovely and clean. The hotel itself was in a great location, quiet and peaceful but close enough to restaurants, bars and the beach. Would definitely recommend staying here! After booking this stay we requested information regarding travel from the airport and were sent an in detail message from the owners with all travel options including bus numbers, locations and times as well as taxi options and prices, they definitely didn’t have to go out of their way to do that as most probably wouldn’t so it was hugely appreciated with us being first time visitors to Chania. The environment of the hotel itself was lovely and was filled with lovely friendly people who alongside the staff made my boyfriend and I feel extremely comfortable!

The location of the hotel was excellent for me, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center but still quite close. Yannis beach is approx. 300m. at the end, Lidl next door and the bus went to the center in front of the hotel. Breakfast was served to the table at the pool bar and was really sufficient. Sorry about the barstool.. :)

Hmmm. Nothing comes to mind, the holiday was really successful, thanks to the staff.

The place is absolutely magical. It is run by an adorable and very helpful family who made us feel really at home. The interior design is phenomenal and charming. The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of 5 beaches, both larger and smaller, more intimate ones. Personally, I recommend Yannis beach, where we spent a lot of time and regardless of the time of day, you could grab a sun lounger. The breakfasts were very good, with a possibility to choose from and even to adjust to your own, minor preferences. In the evenings, the hotel offers a poolside bar. There is a great greek restaurant across the street and getting to the center of Chania takes less than 20 minutes by bus, which stops right next to the hotel. The area is quiet and will certainly appeal to everyone who wants a break from the hustle and bustle of tourists. There is Lidl and several smaller shops with beach supplies nearby. We will definitely come back and thank you for the wonderful stay and care.
