I like everything about the property. Whatever you see in the picture is exactly what you see in actual everything looks fresh clean, and the rooms are big. While we stay there, we took advantage of using the Jacuzzi all you need to do is ask the front desk and they will turn it on for you. The room we booked comes with breakfast for two and drinks. I would give 10 stars to their staffs because they are very nice ,friendly and very accommodating. The check-in process was quick and easy. A very convenient location because it’s literally in downtown everything’s walking distance.

The hotel was very clean and staff were extremely helpful and also assisted us with a good driver from the airport. The garden is beautiful and there is lots of space to chill out there as well as the rooftop. Nice breakfast included you can have toast, eggs or pancakes/waffles. Location was not in the middle of town but it’s a very easy walk to most places in Antigua as it’s a small town. Feels secure.

I probably wouldn’t pick this hotel again due to the noise that carries from the main entrance to the rooms. I had one of the front rooms which I do not recommend for this reason. The walls are pretty thin and at night you can hear everyone coming in. There is also a bright light in the external walkway that you could see as the curtains in the room weren’t black out (although it was turned off around 10). Perhaps the back rooms are quieter. Another issue I had was how thin the blankets were.

breakfast was very nice setting, food was delicious, they even served food past the allotted time as there were quite a few rooms that were getting up late. we stayed in two different rooms while there, the first was right by the entrance and the restaurant so was very noisy early in the morning. Our second room was much quieter, on the second floor with a larger bathroom. Paid almost half the price for the second room~ not sure why the first one was so much more. Overall a pleasant experience, the staff went above and beyond to help us and the rooftop patio was lovely.

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The accommodation is about 10 minutes walk from the city centre, very good location. The staff were friendly and helpful, always smiling. They also provide filtered water for all residents.

Breakfast was unfortunately very basic, had three options to pick from, eggs or toast or pancakes; you were only allowed one and one cup of coffee or tea. The portions were very small. As a traveller, you need a good breakfast to keep you going but unfortunately this was not the case at Nico hotel.

I stayed two weeks in this accomodation. The first week was excellent, my room was spacious, clean, and overall comfortable. The staff is attentive and incredibly nice.

The pressure in the shower was quite week, and therefore, for the second week, I got another room. This one was full of mold, and I refused to accept it; so I got a third room, which was still nowhere close to my original room's cleanliness. Another annoying aspect is the 10pm locking of the gate, and whenever I had to get back to my room, had to wait until the night receptionist wakes up.

This place offers a lot. It really was quiet in the rooms. The only noise we heard was other guests eating breakfast. None of the road noise reached our room, even though the hotel is on a fairly busy street. It’s a very good location, easy to walk to most places in Antigua. Close to the Merced. Lots of good food options around. Staff were very nice and available when we needed something. Parking was also easy. There’s a parking lot about a block down that’s secure and gated. It’s included in the price of the stay. We didn’t eat at the hotel ever but the breakfasts we saw others having looked great! There’s a nice area on the second level to hang out and see the view. A jacuzzi you can book time in, and a kids play house type area that would be good for little kids.

There’s no refrigerador in the room. The staff did let us put some leftovers in their fridge though.

The staff were amazing. Super kind and helpful. 5-star service! Rooms were comfy and clean with nice compact bathrooms and ample hot water in showers. Located in a quiet area for great sleep, but still close to the center. Terrace and outdoor seating was very nice and relaxing. They also stored our luggage. We will be definitely be back!

Wifi was not working during our stay. Included breakfast was a little small and bland. The jacuzzi was a great surprise, but did not get very warm by the time requested so we waited an extra hour. If you want to use it in the evening, let them know in the morning and have them set it at 104degF. Otherwise everything was great!

Staff was very friendly and accommodative. The grounds are very nice and there is a great peaceful spot in the back near the jacuzzi.

I had a room up front and found it a bit loud. Mainly due to the staff just chatting endlessly. The location of the hotel is on a very busy road with a lot of traffic. Can be a bit noisy during breakfast.

Really nice staff. Breakfast was delicious and fresh (can also order smoothies for additional cost), although, if staying for several nights it can get a bit boring due to limited options. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was simple but tasty, to small portions, they should have option to have more coffee at breakfast. Hotel facilities and rooms are spacious clean and airy. Feels safe. A hotel to return. Parking is conveniently located.

1) Windows in bedroom need to open in sections, if only top portion is open you let fresh air in, then there is no need for air conditioning and save energy. We were not given air conditioning controls the first night, for us & our friends room. 2) Need to lower curtain rod in bathroom as you shower water gets in adjacent area.
