I liked that the beds were very comfortable. It got kind of loud in the evenings from karaoke but it actually quieted down really nicely at night and I didn’t have much trouble sleeping despite being right next to the reception desk. They cleaned the shared bathrooms several times per day which was nice. There was a restaurant on site which was okay, convenient. The location was pretty good and not too far from a lot of the tourist areas. They also offered a walking tour for 10USD which was very helpful. The shuttle to the airport was also super convenient.

Overall I liked it and it really suited what I needed. I do wish I had the option to book a private bathroom. I’ve also been to the Selina in Lake Atitlán before and I think it was a bit nicer- with lounge chairs and umbrellas around the pool, which is also larger than the one in Antigua.

Its probably the best hostel I've ever stayed at. I booked two separate times, first when I arrived to Antigua and second when coming back from Lake Atitlan (where I also stayed at Selina). Very good initial communication with the hostel, they help with sorting out airport transfers. The room was nice and clean. Each bed had two pillows each and a duvet. Bathrooms were clean and tidy with daily housekeeping. There was amazing water pressure AND hot water (which isnt a standard in Guatemala). Each guest gets a voucher for a welcome drink. Prices at the bar /restaurant are reasonable and portions are big. The hostel looks very picturesque with huge garden, lovely architecture and a pool. It has a library, workout space, kitchen, cinema room, everything you need really. On top of that, they offer tours and shuttles to all major places in Guatemala. I booked an Acatenango tour with them and very happy with the quality and price. Would highly reccomend, people staying there are very nice. Would say it's a social hostel but not too loud and easy to get a rest and sleep at night.

The lockers in common rooms are not very big (mainly due to space).

Very pleasant stay at Selina antigua. The hostel is close to Merced which is like a main square. Staff was very helpful, to answer all questions. Very friendly at breakfast, which was all right. The rooms are very small and don't really have a table or anything to easily organise your stuff. Haven't done any of the activities but the have them available. Even though youre in the middle of the city its very quite. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The rooms are just a bit to tiny and not really functional to me, it was my first time in a hostel so maybe it's just me but that's my opinion. It's still a "party" hostel so there's music at the restaurant all day, the music wasn't bothersome to me though and I like quiet.

A great spot with a fun nice energy. It wasn't what I thought I had booked. Nevertheless, the place won me over with the amenities and helpful friendly staff. Lots of cool activities, lounge by the pool, cornhole, karaoke, playing pool, meeting new friends, pub crawl and a restaurant which is open for breakfast to late night snacks...to name a few. Regarding the photos-they don't line up with titles below!! Outside - restaurant -walking to check in - a view from the garden area

Perhaps an upgrade to the bathrooms would be great project in the future. Soundproofing-the sounds in one adjoining bathroom travels into the next one...

We stayed in a Suite that had an amazing view of the volcano and church. It was worth the extra money but I felt still overpriced. The location was fantastic and the staff were very helpful. It felt very safe there.

It would have been nice to have breakfast included. Food was expensive there. Also, booking tours from there was also more expensive. The pool was not very clean so we couldn't go swimming. It was one of the main reasons we booked it so were disappointed.

We had three different stays/ nights and stayed in three different rooms. The lowcost downstairs was dark and small but the superior in first floor was excellent. The downfloor based is good for one night but too close to music, people leaving/arriving in any night time… however I asked the music to be turn down and it was. All the services possible were available and the staff was superhelpfull. Go for a first floor superior room, if you are over 40 and do want to ejoy more silence, privacy and light:)

Great vibe for relaxing. There are lots of quiet places at this hostel to chill. My favorite were the hammocks by the courtyard. The restaurant at the hotel was convenient and pretty tasty too. Also a short walk to all the main places in town. You can also book lots of activities directly at this hostel which makes experiences super easy.

The rooms could be a bit warm and stuffy at night but that’s mostly dependent on if your roommates will open any windows. I just ended up sleeping on top of the bed.

Selina is a special place. We had a provate room at the 1st floor, which I can only recommend. Not cheap but beautiful, spacious and very clean. The whole hotel and the common areas are beautiful, nicely decorated with a lot of services (co-wotking space, common kitchen open 24h, small swimming pool, hammocks in the garden, library, bar and restaurant, etc.) and events. Location in town is good, close to lots of cafés and restaurants. Staff is very helpful and friendly

The bathroom is alright, although not as great as the room. If you are aged 35+ you might feel a bit "old" ;-)

Great breakfast options. Welcome happy hour house fruit juice drink was horrible

Never give your guests the first impression, by offering them such a pathetic happy hour cocktail, stick to a beer, or simply a "shot". Property was well maintained, very clean of trash. We brought in 28 friends for JoAnne's private Halloween Party, which obviously made your bar and restaurant profitable for 3 days. Staff was great.

Beautiful surroundings, very good service. The restaurant next door Las tres Amigos is excellent. The hostel is in good location..

Bathroom was really small and shower door was not wide. You can't be bigger size!🤣The common kitchen was closing down and we had to throw out our food.... Nobody put that in writing on booking.com..
