The host was so sweet, welcoming us and showing us our room, which was large and comfortable. The common shower was just in front of our room and was also comfortable. The breakfast was probably the best I had in the trip. It's self served in the upper floor large kitchen and common area/lounge. Every room gets a plate with slices of yellow cheese, pastrami and more. There were multiple jams, bread, eggs, and a coffee machine with coffee beans, in which you can make the perfect cappuccino.

The only small thing is that the check-in process was just a bit unclear. We were supposedly given a code to a key box with our key, but turned out as our reservation was not yet paid we didn't get the code. Anyway i texted the host when we got there and she immediately went out to help so it wasn't much an issue.

What a lovely guesthouse. Our cozy room was clearly decorated and cleaned with care. If I remember correctly, it’s also one of few that had extra blankets and PILLOWS! So many guesthouse pillows are incredibly thin, the extra was so appreciated. Views of the town and landscape surround your room, the kitchen, and shared dining/living area. Breakfast was also a good portion. We didn’t get in early enough to do it but there is also laundry.

It was a little difficult to find, but the guesthouse will reach out prior to your stay so you’re not dependent on Google maps.

Communication with the host was excellent - we knew exactly how to get our key and check in. Loved the fact that there was a washer and dryer! Lots of amenities in the kitchen so we could make our own food, and two large areas to sit and eat. The couch and chairs in the sitting area were very comfortable. Room was good, and bathrooms were clean. Highly recommend!

The shower is a bit small - larger people may have a hard time maneuvering in it. But it was not an issue. Kitchen also gets a little crowded at times, but again, this is not a big deal and it’s something we would expect. Happy to have a kitchen with all of the amenities! Wifi is really slow and at times does not work.

This was probably our favourite out of 8 places. Very friendly owner. Its truly like a home away from home. Breakfast we didn't use as left too early 1st day and left early 2nd day as storm came on so we quickly drive to Vik. She leaves breakfast for you the night before bit we left at 6am so didn't want to wake anyone. Make sure you walk to the waterfront to see views of the glaciers.

Very noisy guests at 11pm but not the fault of the owner

The guesthouse was clean and cozy with a good breakfast. The staff was friendly and accommodated our request well. Thank you very much for your wonderful stay.

Although we received a message from the host to confirm the parking is for 5 vehicles, some guests were not considerate, and we had to ask another guest to move their car a bit...

The room and shared areas were so cozy and had such a homey feeling! The coffee and breakfast was amazing and everything was in walking distance. Big bathrooms/showers as well. Quiet, peaceful stay and super responsive host. One of the best places we stayed at along the ring road!

Everything was perfect!

Easy check in even late. Instructions clear. Room was nice, clean and the bed was comfortable. Amenities were great: laundry, kitchen, boot cleaning kit. Breakfast was plentiful and a great way to start the morning!

Front door lock was difficult and sticky

We stayed in a room with a shared bath. The room, house and bathrooms were very clean. The kitchen was fully equipped to make meals if you chose to do so. It is in a great location. Easily walkable to grocery store, just a minute away.

The bedroom was a bit stark although completely adequate. Rug(s)/ curtains would warm it up quite a bit I think.

Beautiful and good location. Free parking space, grocery store few minutes by foot. The host was so helpful and welcoming. Very nice and well equipped property (kitchen, bathroom, sitting and dining area, bedroom).

Unfortunately there was no breakfast option, I guess it is only available in the high season.

The living room was really nice with a great view. There's a kitchen with everything you may need to cook. You will find the breakfast in the fridge in the morning (lot of choice). Every room and the bathroom were cleaned.

Everything was just fine!
