The farm house is well located in a beautiful valley just off the ring road, Stefan and his dog greeted us nicely upon arrival, The rooms are nice, comfortable and cozy, the showers are great, kitchen is well equipped and fun to use, you can make do with the other guests, there's a nice yard where you can sit and have an evening beer in front of the amazing view. Travelling as a family with children we were a bit afraid of staying in a place with shared facilities but it was really fine and even a good experience for us all.

As always in Iceland, the price is a bit high....

Very friendly owner with a lovely dog. We went on a short hike and followed the dog who wanted to show us one of his favorite places - a waterfall coming from the mountains. That moment was very special! The guest house itself is wonderful equiped and EXTREMELY clean. If you want to search for something you won't find anything - thats how clean it is - wonderful 👍

Same problem as with every guest house - if you have bad or lought neighbours you will notice them. But as it's part of the concept and as you know what you are booking that's no downgrade for me here.

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, which made it easy for us to unwind after a long day. The hosts were very friendly and always made sure everything was good during our stay. The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Absolutely amazing. Beautiful new renovated rooms. Large spaces, shared 2 bathrooms and kitchen. Use of toiletries and kitchen facilities. Accommodation at the foot of the mountains where the views and tranquility are beautiful. Lovely friendly dog as well as his owners. So far the best accommodation we have been to in Iceland. Thank you very much and hopefully sometime again.

Lovely place! Warm, cozy, and freshly renovated with a lot of charm. The kitchen is well-equipped and stocked with basics like oil, spices, tea, and coffee. All appliances are new and work perfectly. There are lots of pillows, guest slippers, and everything feels very comfortable. The host is super friendly, picked me up, and showed me around. Fantastic view – I’d happily stay longer or come back anytime!

Our host was friendly and available if we needed to speak with him. The house is in a beautiful location and he was happy for us to explore his land, which we really appreciated. The place was clean and neat and the beds were very comfortable. Having 2.5 bathrooms for a group of 9 people was great! We also really appreciated being able to cook and eat together easily in the space. As all the rooms are individually lockable, I can also imagine this is a great place to stay for smaller numbers, if you're happy to share kitchen and bathroom facilities. We loved it here!

There was not really anything that we didn't like. The kitchen space and equipment is a little limited, but that's to be expected I think, and if we can make it work for a group of 9, no problem!

Stefan's guesthouse is wonderful. The location is very good and the surroundings are beautiful. The host is very friendly and the rooms are in perfect condition. this is a retired sheep farm - the guest quarters are 4 rooms with a kitchen / dinning area, sitting area, 2 full bathrooms and a half bath / wc. There is a waterfall just behind the house and it is surrounded by meadows. The Hoffell glacier is just 2 minutes down the road (not crowded, stunning with an easy hike). We cooked for 2 nights (lovely meal at Ott's in Hofn the 3rd), made breakfast and sandwiches as well - there is a coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, induction cooktop, dishwasher, and oven + pots / pans + a few sharp knives. Everything is up to date and spotless; very comfortable; the dog is friendly and Stephan was a very gracious host. Can not recommend enough this guesthouse.

The views were amazing and the whole place was nicely decorated, warm and modern. The dog was really friendly and the owner was polite and welcoming and let us have a long walk around the area. Lots of coffee and tea for guests and all the utensils you'd need to cook a meal were provided.

The only thing I didn't enjoy was I felt it wasn't sound proofed very well and could hear other guests. That's not a big deal, but I feel it should be mentioned.

The owner, Stefan, has created a modern, cozy, comfortable guesthouse experience. His rustic farm off the road was once a sheep farm and feels unique to stay in the midst of Icelandic history. His friendly dog, Skolie, just seals the deal! Clean, great and plentiful shared spaces (bathrooms, kitchen, lounge), and beautiful views out your window. Who could ask for more?
