- Clean and comfortable rooms - nice common spaces - Super kind and accommodating staff - free breakfast (basic food but still nice) - unlimited filtered water - towels available for rent at low cost

- Not a fan of the location - near a garbage dump so quite stinky - not even the expected fish smell but garbage smell as soon as you step outside. A lot people hang around the hostel too - I stayed in the female dorm and the bunk beds were not in the greatest conditions. Stained curtains and some broken hand rails. Also top bunk is quite high so I kept hitting my head on the ceiling (I’m only 5 foot 3)

This hostel felt more like a home than a hostel. I ended up staying for a week (I just extended every day) because of the good vibes there. Everyday 5 o clock there is tea time for all and also everybody was kind and eager to talk. This is the perfect place to stay especially if you want to be in Mumbai for a longer time - here you will make connections and friends who are also staying longer than only few nights. The rooms are clean and the staff is just super friendly and helpful. I will 100% sure be back when I visit Mumbai. Such a home<3

Honestly nothing bad

Had the best stay at Hammock Hostels, kept extending my stay for almost a week. It was very spacious, clean and well organised. The staff are amazing and the host Priya really goes above and beyond to ensure you feel at home, always ready for a chat and to provide assistance. We went out on a street food walking tour which was delicious and a good way to meet other guests. Location was very safe and close to everything you needed. Thank you for making my trip to India so memorable, I can't wait to come back soon!

Friendly staff that were happy to accommodate my early arrival.

I love it here. It feels like home, really! There's private toilet, also some common toilets in case it's occupied. Lots of basin to brush teeth as well and common areas to hang out and socialise with other hostel buddies. And that I could book some trip packages here as the hostel is partnered with 'getlocal' tour guide, whereby each tour is brought about in different scenes and presented by the guide in natural manner. Really recommend hostel mates taking up this tour for good exposure and learning about Mumbai city as a whole.

I like female dorm with private bathroom, it’s doesn’t smell inside the room. it’s first floor, so no need to carry the baggage. breakfast is good! stuff and people are awesome. so, no offense, guys, but...

there are huge fish market and it’s smells pretty strong if you are sensible to that things. I truly went earlier to the airport because I couldn’t wait in the common area

We had an incredible time at this "Hammock Hostels"!, We swing by the spacious hostel for two nights. The atmosphere was friendly, Clean bathrooms and well maintained rooms, friendly staff, and well-maintained beds. It was great to find such a friendly, helpful owner here and I was impressed by the hospitality. For anyone looking for a nice clean room in around Khar, Pali, Mumbai, I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Everything. The staff is so nice (all of them but special mention to the owner Priya and Rohim for their advices and help - this last one even took me to the local fair at the end of his shift and showed me the neighbourhood and local food!). It’s very clean, they pay attention to every detail. Beds are comfortable, breakfast is simple and good and they make delicious tea several times a day and offer to everyone. It’s obvious that they wanna create a nice environment, and they actually create it. Will repeat.

For a person that is new to the city, this location might look terrifying, but it's very safe.
