The property was absolutely stunning. Lush gardens, peaceful and quiet and only a short walk to the Main Street - Jl Danau Tamblingnan. The suites were stand alone, so you it was like staying in your own home. They were huge, nicely decorated, with an extremely comfortable bed and a separate bathroom with outdoor shower. There was also wifi throughout the complex and satellite tv in you suite with a number of channels to choose from. Matro, Rika and the staff were extremely friendly and professional and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay there was a memorable one. It was my Birthday whilst I was there and they surprised me by spelling out “Happy Birthday to you” on my bed in rose petals and making a towel dog that was also left on the bed and Mateo the owner and 6 staff knocked on my door and presented me with a birthday cake and sang “Happy Birthday”, which was lovely, totally unexpected and made me feel very special. Breakfast was available from 7-10 every morning and you had a choice of a light breakfast, medium breakfast or Indonesian breakfast. I had the medium breakfast which consisted of fresh fruit, juice, tea or coffee, toast with butter jam or marmalade, eggs cooked to your liking with sausage and bacon. Very tasty. Lunch was great too, with a wide selection of choices. I stayed in one of their gorgeous Suites for the first 2 weeks and was able to stay in their 1br villa with private pool for the last 6 nights of my stay which was absolutely stunning!! I enjoyed every minute of my stay there and was sad to leave, but I will definitely be returning next year!! Thank you for making me feel so welcome and my stay a memorable one🙂🙂

Most beautiful resort with a number of private villas. Absolutely loved the private kitchen/outside area leading into the room. So spacious and felt luxurious. Staff very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was delicious.

The resort was very very quiet. Would have been nice to maybe have some quiet relaxing music during the day? Would have possibly preferred an inside shower too although nice experience.

The suite we stayed in was of high quality with comfortable bed, great decor, excellent air-conditioning and everything you could need. The central pool is small, but pretty quiet. Most of the time it was very peaceful with just us or another couple using it. We didn't eat at the restaurant (breakfast & lunch only) but the menu looked great. All the staff were lovely. We would definitely come again. It's an easy walk to the main street and beaches.

Our family of 4 had 10 nights in a 2 bed room villa. We absolutely enjoyed every second. The staff were so so lovely. The pool was amazing, so clean. The location was perfect. Not to far for our 5 year old to walk to restaurants. Breakfast was lovely every morning. Housekeeping everyday was so great.

Private pool villa was exceptional. Loved the privacy, room was really.comfortable, separate wardrobe area leading to large bathroom, air con cool and outdoor shower a nice experience. Outdoor area with kitchen had all you needed, we didn't cook but food delivery was always quick and good good for price. Staff amazing, no fuss at all just let us enjoy the stay. Definitely stay again.

For other guests you may want to check the distance for walking to the beach! Fine for us but was a bit sweaty in the day. If you are not a walker it might not suit. Absolutely nothing else was a problem.

Great location a short walk from the main strip of restaurants and shops as well as the beach. Beautiful grounds, lovely pool and peaceful surroundings. Small set menu for breakfast had everything you’d want with delicious French toast!

The staff were very friendly but we did have a disappointing experience. We had arranged massages through the spa the hotel offered and were ready in our room at the appointment time when reception rang to say they’d failed to find a therapist. Would have appreciated if they’d let us know earlier! If walking home at night the back streets are poorly lit so it can get quite dark

Everything was just great - a perfect villa (everything is comfortable, beautiful, cleaning every day), wonderful hosts ❤️❤️❤️ and all staff! Our dear Mateo with his wife and Edith always helped and prompted with everything. Very tasty breakfasts, fruits every day - 4-5 types ❤️. Excellent location - 5 minutes to the main street, 10 minutes to the beach, 15 minutes to bike rental. There are many cafes, restaurants, shops nearby - but the alley is quiet and calm. Stunningly beautiful, clean and warm pool - and open 24 hours 🔥 We sincerely loved Katala Suits and will definitely come back again! We will miss you!

Quiet location and quiet guests. Clean pool and comfortable pool lounges. The room was well presented and had everything we needed for our 8 night stay. The air con and fan worked well, the small fridge was adequate, the outdoor shower was a nice touch, as were the complimentary toiletries. The staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful and always professional. The little touches like the flowers on the walk way and in the room were delightful too. We will definitely be staying here next time in Sanur.

😁 awesome place to stay ... lovely quiet place just a very short walk to shops and food and a less than 5 more minutes to the beach.... great food as well .... breakfast was included and was excellent as was the couple of lunches we had .... the staff were fabulous ... always friendly , helpful lovely people .... and cleanliness and facilities were perfect for us ... ... a precious jewel as a place to stay 😁😁😁😁😁😁

We really enjoyed our stay at Katala due to the exceptionally kind and friendly staff and owners (greetings especially to Mateo and Rika :) ), the calm location, the beautiful garden and very comfortable villas, tasty breakfast and lunch and overall very relaxing atmosphere. We stayed for 3 weeks and want to say thank you for such a wonderful and memorable holiday! :) When we come back to Sanur, we certainly will choose Katala again.
