The staff are absolutely fantastic, always a smile & a chat. They made you feel like family. The breakfast area and pool are well maintained and a pleasure to spend time in, I enjoyed a swim each night before bed, just perfect.

A little TLC is needed in the rooms and the towels could be renewed, they're rather tired & not so soft.

oh my gosh stay here. The beds were so comfortable. The pool was stunning and has these little areas you can sit that seem so private because of the flower vines. The breakfast is perfect - I have never tasted mushrooms that flavorsome. The cactus and succulents and the garden in general were absolutely spectacular. Sanur house is like an oasis, you walk in and your transported somewhere else. We stayed here on new years and when the fireworks went off I just popped out my room and watched them in the sky. Staff were amazing and very accommodating. Looked after our luggage as long as we needed. I would definitely stay here again!!

The Staff were exceptional. They were friendly & helpful; polite & accommodating. Sanur House was cosy & very clean. The pool area was very cute. The bed Was very comfortable. The main drag is just 10 minutes away. The beach is a litgle away..Overall a very pleasant experience

The Bathroom was very small. The wash basin being in the bed room was inconvenient and untidy. In the night when there was no staff around one or two rats got in the kitchen. Breakfast menu should have a little variety. The Nasi however, was good.

First and foremost the staff, all genuine, friendly and all round wonderful. Sanur house is very welcoming. The gardens are absolutely stunning and it’s a little oasis amongst the tourist strip. We ate at Lilla Warung everyday which is just around the corner - order the Lalapan and Jamu. Breakfast at Sanur house was lovely, eggs made to order, yummy banana bread, fresh fruit and the best yoghurt we had in Bali. My family couldn’t get enough of it! Thank you ❤️ The beach is a short walk away or take a bicycle. I highly recommend. Also get yourself a massage - the therapist is super. Worth every cent. ❤️

Such a lovely hotel in a great location. Close to all the hustle of the main street, restaurants, bars and a short walk to the beach, but a stunning quiet oasis once you walked through the gate. A great way to get around was on the free bikes they have for guests and so I rode all over Sanur both day and night and felt very safe. It was great fun. The pool area and gardens are stunning and the pool was the perfect place for a dip after a bike ride exploring the town and for relaxing and reading quietly. It really was quite special. What really makes Sanur House is the staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful and loved having a chat. Dewi in the restaurant/ pool area was just gorgeous and always welcomed me with a massive smile. All of the team, Shinta, Putri, Dyan, Santini and Yogi were an absolute delight. Even the staff doing my room every day were fun and always gave me a wave. They really are a special team and made me feel so welcome.

Hi! We stayed in a one bedroom villa and it was perfect for us - we are a couple travelling with our kids, 3 and 1 year old. Simple facilities but incredibly comfortable. Spotless clean to say the least, every morning by the time we came back from breakfast the room had already been thoroughly cleaned! The common areas are lovely and well kept, and the pool small but inviting :) menu at the bar for lunch and dinner short but excellent price and quality! Staff were simply marvellous 🤩 only a short walk from ICON Bali shopping center woth beach access and all facilities. I’d definitely recommend!

It is not by the beach but easy to access! For us it wasn’t a problem.

Great place to stay off the main road so nice and quiet and short walk to the road for shopping and food. The pool area is lovely, in the middle of the property, small but really lovely and nice place to chat with other guests as there are only several rooms. Breakfast was great, fresh and plenty and in a lovely outdoor dining room beside the pool. The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. We had a few massages here in a lovely massage space upstairs, really good. We had a basic room, but it was a good size, very clean and comfy. Large jug of water in your room which is so handy to refill your bottles. So take your own reusable drink bottle so you don’t need to drink out of plastic ones. The beach is about a 10 min easy walk, across the main road, easy to cross, and down a lane to the beach front and walkway which goes both north towards the mall, a short walk and sth Sanur to local beach eateries, about 15 mins. You can swim there too, plus there’s small local shopping around there. We ate everywhere local and all the food was great. There’s also a really good warung, Lila, 1 min from Sanur house we recommend, great food and atmosphere. Delicious. Also we arranged a driver thro Sanur house to the Sanur harbour to catch a fast boat to Gili islands. The driver was fantastic, helpful and knowledgeable, and we used him again later when we returned for pick up etc. His name was Dewa so if you need a ride etc, ask for him as he was great.

Staff were responsive to our requests, including arranging transport to and from their premises. Breakfast was simple in choices but quite adequate, catering staff attentive. The bedroom was generously sized, bed comfortable and the bathroom was unusually large. The property is quite and very well located with a short walk to Jalan Danau Tamblingan, the main tourist thoroughfare in the area. Restaurants and convenience stores are readily accessible from Sanur House.

The pool is a little small and the number of sun beds limited. This will not be a problem unless a majority of guests want to use the pool area at the same time.

Sanur House is an exceptionally well run small hotel in Sanur. It is located on a quiet street, 100 metres from a busier commercial street with shops of all kinds, ATMs, Indonesian Warungs, international restaurants and plenty of coffee shops. Sanur House itself has a number of rooms in the main complex as well as private individual cottages spaced out throughout the lovely, beautifully maintained gardens. There is a very nice pool with plenty of beach lounges and shade umbrellas. The breakfasts are amazing, with a buffet style variety of local and "western" offerings. You can also order eggs from the kitchen if you wish. They do offer a number of very tasty items from the lunch menu if you choose to eat in. Sanur House has now set up a very nice spa with a range of treatments - I got a 60 minute deep tissue massage and my wife got a foot reflexology treatment. Both were fantastic and fairly priced. Of course, a highlight of staying at Sanur House are the wonderful people who work there and are so kind and helpful!

Everything was perfect!

After all our years travelling South East Asia, Sanur House tops the list of our favourite accommodations. There is nothing at all to fault. The staff are so incredibly kind and helpful, always taking the time to chat and spend time with our 1 year old (this was greatly appreciated as we ate our breakfast and had our morning coffee). The included breakfast is absolutely delicious with so much to choose from, including eggs, yoghurt, muesli, fresh fruit, banna bread, pancakes and more. The grounds and pool are so well maintained and create such a beautiful, tranquil escape from the bustoing streets. We loved having a water tank in our room which was filled each morning, meaning we could minimise our plastic waste from disposal drink bottles. Having bicycles available to use is so incredibly handy, especially when heading out for some food or fresh juice along with umbrellas in case you get a little rain throughout your stay. Do yourself a favour and spend some time in Sanur, staying at Sanur House. You can thank me later 😊 Thank you for the most incredible stay, we will most definitely be back.
