hotel and staffs are fantastic, well designed, good quality and helpful team. the location of Maya is just right, with good food at Akaya Cafe next to dive shop, many more good restaurants towards Icon Mall, endless massage to choose from. Hotel tree bar food is good to just chill in hotel while enjoying beach and pool. overall my family is impressed and we had a great time!!!

we had minor issues on ants on bed, which helpful staff immediately take action. Some bigger ants are also found strolling in toilet. Lastly Sanur beach and people are quite friendly but ambience little compromise by the occasional stale from waste plant nearby.

The location of the property was brilliant, you are in the middle of the main street so great accessibility to all of the restaurants, and the hotel backs straight on to the beach so perfect for those mid day walks. The restaurants all served a variety of delicious foods, the buffet style breakfast was great as you have the option to have certain foods cooked fresh for you and again the selection was fantastic you would never get bored and always find something to eat. The staff were amazing so friendly and welcoming. If you ever needed anything they would be there to help and resolve it quickly! Would definitely stay here again!

Buffet Breakfast was Fantastic, lagoon pool was a little cold as in the shade but was perfect for our kids to pop in and out from our room. Although the hotel is child friendly, has kids club, activities and kids menu etc we did feel that our kids were in the minority, mainly adults and couples.

We were Half Board and paid also for the kids but were told the kids menu wasn’t included in the half board at all of the dining outlets which was pretty strange and would have thought soft drinks water etc would have been included however it wasn’t.

Very clean, great restaurant, beautiful gardens and friendly staff.

The main pool and surrounding is small. Could have been bigger for the size of the hotel. Hard to get a sunlounge. However, we did visit during the school holidays.

Lots of pool options (especially if you book a lagoon pool room), many restaurants in the resort and nearby to eat at (including a fantastic Japanese at the street end of the resort). The brilliant virtual butler team were a huge help to us e.g. obtaining a boot to immobilise my foot (small bone broken during my travels) and having it delivered. Especially Yuni, I Gede and I Made). The resort is generally very accessible, apart from the spa which has a long staircase to access the treatment rooms. I broke a bone in my foot while travelling and was overjoyed to be loaned a wheelchair which was heaven for me after getting around on crutches.

Not an issue for me but may be for some-the lagoon pool in August doesn’t get much sun. If you want to sun-bake the beachside pool is better.

The resort was excellent and in a great spot in Sanur with easy access to cafes, walks etc. loved the Sanur boardwalk. Staff were great and very helpful. Entertainment in the evenings was also very good. I would recommend this property to others.

We were in a lagoon pool room. We booked this room thinking it would be private and tranquil more for couples quiet time. We had a very noisy family next door playing right outside our verandah and therefore never used our day bed or the pool. I think the hotel should consider if these rooms should be for families or couples only.

Maya Sanur resort and spa is located in a perfect location in Bali. Shopping, restaurant, entertainment and other things are walking distance. It is beautiful and relaxing in a natural setting. Beautiful beach infront of your doorstep. Facilities and staff are great and attend to any request immediately. Buffet breakfast had great choices and healthy. We loved staying here and will definitely be back again. Thanks to everyone for making our holiday great.

The dangerous surface of the concrete paver and timber main pathway from front to beach pool and bar. Uneven and sharp edges causing cuts and tripping. Needs to change.

We stayed at Maya Sanur in February 2023. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, so much variety with many choices and the Staff were so present and attentive, just beautiful friendly people. The whole property was spotless clean, pools sparkling clean overlooking the ocean and pool lounges all had little call buttons to call the waiter for food and drink service. We used a Laundry Service called Bali Laundry, it was all via Whatsapp, and Maya supported us by handing over our Laundry bag which we left at reception desk.. (there's also an in house Laundry Service) Everything was just easy and so luxurious & comfortable. The massage in the Spa (with Ketut) definitely worthwhile. The Tree Bar in the evenings also lovely with gentle live music... We wish we could've stayed longer and would definitely return and recommend this Property. We loved the location too. You can hire electric bikes and ride along the footpath beside the ocean to explore the area.

The hotel rooms were spotlessly clean, though there was a slight damp smell in our room. The staff and butler service were exceptionally attentive, always eager to ensure a pleasant stay — daily communication via WhatsApp made everything seamless. The food, especially breakfast, was outstanding. I would absolutely stay here again!

The hotel standards were generally good, but the sunbeds and tables were dirty — something that could be easily maintained with a bit of attention. It was disappointing to see two pool attendants stationed there all day just handing out and collecting towels, without addressing the cleanliness..
