The staff were really lovely and very accommodating. Cheerful greetings from everyone we ran into. The room was clean and well maintained and the variety of pool settings ensured that they were never overcrowded. The grounds were kept very clean. Breakfast was efficient and varied to suit everyone. Appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee and the ability to get food and drink anytime. The on site spa was lovely and the treatments very reasonably priced. Cleaning staff maintained our rooms very well.

There were a lot of mosquitos in the grounds and the rooms so I was worried about dengue fever. Some guests were reserving chairs around the pool and were out and about all day so others did not get the opportunity to use them.

Lovely older place but well maintained, three pools, lift available to first floor dining room, good breakfast options, option to have luggage watched in foyer after checkout the last day, or late checkout. Pool warm even at 5pm. Great amenities in my room, toiletries etc, and a decent table and chairs to sit with a laptop. Pool towel in room, hair dryer, good range of tv programmes and wifi worked just fine. Short walk to eateries. (Check out 'Cork' for meals and drinks- turn right after exiting hotel driveway and walk a bit). You will walk past Artedesana, big store with supermarket ground floor and amazing top floor with all the touristy items, suitcases, footwear, huge range of clothing. Worth checking out. Short walk down side street across road from hotel takes you to the beach.

My pillows smelled a bit musty, but next day I mentioned it and they were instantly swapped with new ones, room had been closed a few days, I think.

It was clean, attentive (typical) Balinese service, great location and the rooms were large. Good pools and breakfast was fine with fresh eggs cooked your way. Great value for money.

We liked everything - but it is a traditional Balinese place to stay so it is quite aged for a resort style these days. That said it is clean and everything works fine.

A clean Balinese style hotel that is a short walk to the beach and all the food choices. 3 beautiful pools. The rooms were a good size and the bed was huge and comfortable. Beautiful gardens.

more breakfast choice would be great, but just walk anywhere for a great Breakfast.

The room was huge, bed was huge, pools were clean, room had good wardrobe and cupboard space, our rooms were cleaned and maintained every day with our water replenished daily, wifi was mostly good, staff were excellent cannot fault them nothing was too much bother, breakfast was adequate and eggs made to order as were the pancakes/crepes, the resort is homely, felt very safe, great location and excellent value for money,

It pains me to say the breakfast was only just adequate, would love to have things like grilled tomato, mushrooms and baked beans, tea and coffee was undrinkable, we brought our own tea. The staff could not do enough for you they were amazing! The mattress was abit too firm for us but ok, but this would not stop us from returning, it is old but cosy and immaculately kept gardens and pools Bathroom could do with update and handtowel ring

Was a perfect place to stay. Beautiful old Balinese style buildings. The staff are so kind and friendly. The gardens are beautiful, the pools are well maintained. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds are super comfy. Location is fabulous. Everything one could wish for plus more and a very reasonable price.

Have to say everything exceeded our expectations...pools were lovely for over 50s...2 more pools one with bar and one lap pool..... breakfast was yummy..egg man to cook anything you desired... always left breakfast satisfied.... our room was clean comfortable and we were so comfortable we booked another week THE STAFF OUR AMAZING... they built a concrete step to make it easier for my husband to use the pool... he is a stroke victim and uses a wherlchair.... they put ramps outside the rooms.... they always helped my husband and even to the sumo resturant next door that gives discount to swastika patrons...arranged taxis... They made us feel very welcome and that a person with a disability could feel safe relaxed and happy..... they have lifts to breakfast...massage rooms etc... for the first 5 days we were so relaxed, we didnt venture out of the hotel 😁

The staff are amazing and nothing is EVER too much trouble....all you need to do is ask 😀 They are so welcoming and friendly. The grounds are beautiful, the three pools are always clear and clean. The fridge and air con both worked well. The location of the upstairs room was lovely with an outlook over the frangipanis and we could sit out even when it was raining.....it so relaxing.... The food at the pool bar kitchen was delicious and inexpensive. Location is in easy reach of everything. Always feels safe and is well set back off the road, so little to no street noise.

We had a superior room and in 7 stays have always chosen this room type, however, be aware that the rooms have been renamed so some of the superior rooms have been renamed as deluxe.... For us this meant the bathroom was very old, despite being very clean which though didn't bother us, might others.

Definitely worth booking a deluxe room which I had for four days after completing a tour of Bali/Lombok. I had a night in a superior room at the start/end of a group tour and definitely a big step up to the deluxe rooms. Large balcony looking out on to one of the pools. Choice of three lovely pools. . one more for families. one for serious sunbathing! and the third nice and quiet for chillout and reading. Reception staff excellent, Breakfast very good and plentiful with very obliging staff. 5 minute walk to the beach. The hotel have bikes which you can hire for £2 a day which is great for using on the long beach front path.

Pools - having 3 different pools to choose from is always a bonus - if one gets busy (which is rare) there is always another to choose from. Breakfast - plenty of fresh fruit to choose from. Eggs or pancakes on demand available and the staff are always amenable to special requests. Setting - the gardens are lovely, the rooms are great (it is not a built up complex) and being close to the street but far enough away to not have any noise is fantastic.
