- The bed was comfortable and the pillows were nice and puffy - Many toiletries and towels were provided and the shower is very spacious with great water pressure - The breakfast was delivered to the door and it was delicious, also conveniently packed in a box, great if you are in a rush. - TV positioning was great, even if a person is sitting at the desk, they would not be blocking the TV - The room was clean and tidy - A fan was provided in the room to use when it got too hot - The mountain view is Amazing - Plenty of Parking - Swimming pool and gym facilities were great

- The room could have a bit more walking space, at places feel quite cramped - Fruit within the breakfast should be fresher, one of the days the fruit was quite soggy and sad - The table in the room is quite small, difficult for two people to comfortably eat the breakfast - The stairwell to the rooms could have more lighting and better signage

Staff = outstanding performance, Michaela checked us in, super knowledgeable and professional, friendly and chock full of pertinent information!!! Also, room attendants were Top performers- friendly and filled every request we had- they carried out their duties perfectly.

On our check out we took a shuttle at 12:00 from the hotel- unfortunately I asked the shuttle driver if he could inform us when we got to the right drop off point- either the downtown stop or the train station…he abruptly asked for €4.00 and it was quite rude,we were supposed to receive a courtesy ride to town after out 4 night stay…. then he pushed my shoulder and told me to sit down!!! In my agency back home( I drove a city bus, serving my community- if I ever laid a hand on a person…I would be fired for sure)… how he manages his stress is not good…. We checked out on Sunday, May 11, 2025. White haired man heavy weight …70 ish. Shame on him…he could use some manners….anyways…that was our only bad experience in the 4 weeks in Killarney !

Upon arrival, it turned out that this is a huge hotel complex, on the territory of which there are different hotels, and this particular one occupies 2 floors of the main building. The complex has several parking lots and several entrances. On the 1st floor there is a beautiful, but confusing labyrinth of passages. I found how to get to the right floor, but did not find the reception. Or rather, I found it, but after about 20 minutes of walking around the hotel. At the reception there was a very nice and friendly Irishman, who was very happy to see me, because I was the last guest who booked a room, but had not yet arrived. He said that there was no need to go out for breakfast, breakfast would be brought right to the door of the room at 7 am. interesting the room turned out to be modern, loft-style. concrete walls, wires in metal pipes, massive switches. It looks very modern and nice. A large window directly opposite the bed, and from the window there is a view of the field and mountains. deer were leisurely walking across the field. and on the visor they said there were 5 kittens in a herd. I tried to take a video so that all the kittens would be in the frame, but then the mother cat came and drove them all home. I open the door at 8 am - there really is a box with breakfast. I didn't expect such a presentation, such a filling and such a tasty and satisfying and healthy breakfast. very cool! The coffee maker in the room came in handy the next day. Coffee with crusan, right from the bed with a view of the mountain, it's simply divine!

Room was really comfortable and clean looking. We loved the view but also the possibility of privacy with the full length curtain. Showers were aboslute perfection, the pressure is amazing and the soaps provided really help out when you are as forgetful as me. We absolutely loved the pool area and the hottub even though they could use a good scrub but we understand. All in all a very lovely stay and we'll definitely make it a tradition to come back. Wish we could've stayed longer.

The changing rooms were a bit gross and could use a good scrub just like the hot tub as well. The staff could be a little more friendly,not talking about front desk staff and pool area staff they were amazing.

I truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture of providing water to customers—it was the first time I’ve encountered such a service, and it left a lasting impression. Additionally, the coffee machine in the room added an extra layer of comfort and enjoyment, making the experience even more pleasant. It was a true pleasure to unwind and enjoy the spa area, as well as indulge in breakfast delivered to my room. I really needed a moment like that. I didn’t have to leave the premises, as everything I needed was right there—restaurant, bar, and spa.

I believe the restaurant menu could be enhanced by including more options, such as vegetarian, gluten-free, and low-carb dishes. Additionally, the room could provide information about the number of restaurants available on-site, along with a QR code to access their menus and details about ongoing events. As a suggestion, adding a dedicated section with massage chairs as an extension of the massage services would be a great touch.

A new approach to the room design which we liked. Four EV chargers on site which is excellent. The breakfast delivered in the boxes was a lovely touch and a very tasty healthy option compared to going for a full Irish. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent evening entertainment with Mike Denver who played non stop for two hours and had the place dancing from start to finish. We last stayed there over 10 years ago and the hotel has been upgraded with lovely decor and facilities. We enjoyed the two night break very much and will definitely be back again soon.

The weather was good and the room was a bit on the warm side during the night.

Room was well thought out. QR codes for services and Spotify Playlist were a nice touch. The pool and pool facilities were great. The staff were lovely. Food in restaurant was tasty. Plenty variety of bars an nooks to chill out. There is a peaceful Library room near reception. Nice walk in to town. Bed was comfortable. Shower was very nice. I like the refillable water fountain station at the end of the hall. Sleep mask and ear plugs kit is lovely little luxury. Breakfast box was delicious.( would look forward to cooked breakfast option when back)I very much liked the fresh remote pouch which shows the remote for the TV was sanitized.

Just the door noise. The doors seem to take a couple of bangs to close properly and you hear everyone's doors do this from early in the morning.

This hotel is within the main Gleneagle hotel so easy check in at main reception. The staff were pleasant and there was ample parking and the leisure facilities were great.

We knew there were renovations happening and weren’t too fazed by this as it had been stated at booking and we are early risers. There weren’t any works on (presumably due to it being a bank holiday) but there were multiple events at the INEC and with the backstage bar being in close proximity to our room we did not sleep until they closed as the music was far too loud. If I had been informed of this I wouldn’t have stayed in this part of the hotel.

The view from the room was amazing, we could see mountains lying on the bed, very clean, really liked the large shower head and coffee machine with selection of high quality coffees. Was enough space to unpack, cooked breakfast very nice, big selection, also cold breakfast box in the morning was lovely. Very happy with the spa/massage I got, professional and relaxing.

Lack of bath. Pillows sold in the gift shop advertised as pillow used in the hotel is not true, I bought one and its absolutely terrible nothing like in the hotel.

All of the staff were very friendly and efficient especially Mikaila at reception

The entertainment provided was generally biased towards very old clientele. Younger people only got relevant entertainment at the INEC on the Saturday night, for which there was a charge and no allowance for being a hotel guest Not acceptable to discover sauna, steamroom and showers not working until after arriving in the hotel. I had been looking forward to using these features
