The location of Martin and Sheila’s B & B, Shepherds Lodge was the perfect location for us. The views from our bedroom window were majestic. We traveled the Ring of Kerry, touring the sights, eating at local pubs and enjoying the absolutely most breathtaking scenery. Hosts are and were very accommodating. This is a family run business where you can also include a carriage ride and tour the local sites. The breakfast was delicious !

Every thing was perfect and we would definitely recommend Shepherds Lodge B & B to all. We would absolutely be back !

They were very friendly. Gave us some very good information about local attractions and car drives like the Ring of Kerry. Room was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Would recommend the Horse and Carriage ride that was great!

The cooked breakfast was less than we expected. Tea and coffee was not in the room but it was available in the sitting room downstairs.

B&B owner was very kind and welcoming. The room was ready for us when we arrived and there was a very nice lounge space with available tea.

The space is definitely geared for couples and families with older children. My younger kids were certainly welcomed, but it was a tough environment for them to be in with 5 other couples we tried to be mindful of.

Great location for car travelers, with a petrol station and supermarket nearby. It’s a 20-30 minute walk to town. The host was lovely, offering helpful tips on local attractions and restaurants. The neighborhood is cozy and peaceful.

Breakfast options were somewhat limited, and the serving time was a bit restrictive.

Lovely house, comfortable big bedroom and bathroom. Very clean. Close enough to the centre, lovely location for walks. Hostess very nice and helpful.

No coffee/tea facility in the bedroom, only in living room and not allowed to take the cup to the bedroom. That arrangement is unusual and not ideal.

Very nice welcome and service, breakfast very tasty (prepared for you, different choices, I liked the scrambled eggs with salmon very much). Rooms ( we had 2 adjacent ones are comfortable, very clean and homely). Within walking distance to Killarney, though a little long (30 min). Very comfortable common room with sofas and armchairs.

We booked for a family of 4, ended up with 2 people (one adult and a teenager). For 2 people the 2 rooms were more than enogh, for 4 people it would probably be a little tight.

Loved the views and the balconies for evening cocktail hour after a full day of leading tours. Sheila really goes out of her way to make sure all of your needs are met, including helpful emergency items in the huge bathroom. If you need a friendly Jarvey on a large jaunting car just book with Sheila. Book the family room on the 1st floor, huge comfortable beds with delicious linens.

Absolutely nothing!

The hostess was so cordial and kind. Her scones are delicious! This BnB is quiet, comfortable and roomy. Nice location only 5 minutes away from Killarney center city. Close to Muckross House and Abbey so you can take walk both mornings and evenings. Really nice!

The Location was easy to reach and close to the places we visited and not far to the town center. During nighttime very quiet. Breakfast was lovely. The hosts are very friendly and helpful with everything we asked. We would love to come back and stay again!

An excellent and picturesque location. We were well connected to visit many sights in Killarney and about an hour away. The house was meticulously clean and very comfortable. Lovely facilities. Spacious rooms. The breakfast was lovely and everyone was very welcoming and friendly.
