The room was perfect, very spacious & very quiet. we had our granddaughter with us who is only 2 years old, it was very important that she was able too sleep. Staff were very helpful especially in the resturant for breakfast when one young man went above & beyond to help me get my granddaughter’s breakfast. He was wonderful & a great help. Girls on reception were also very helpful & very friendly. Great staff at this hotel.

Felt the room was cold earlier in the evening, but got extremely hot that night to the point we had too open windows & the same first thing in the morning. It was very uncomfortable & should be turned down a bit. Would be much better if the guest could control the temperature from the room. But it didn’t take from our stay & we will hopefully return to Parkavon. One other little point, we were disappointed in the bar food it definitely wasn’t up too hotel standard & extremely over priced for what we got especially the child’s food. I do feel it’s a poor reflection on the hotel & one would assume rightly or wrongly that the two are connected ? We felt that we would have gotten better food in the local chip shop. Food in restaurant upstairs at breakfast was so much better & enjoyed.

Lovely overnight stay at the Parkavon Hotel. Great location- located on the main road into Killarney centre so 15 min walk to get to the main restaurants and pubs etc. Very convenient. Staff were welcoming and helpful. We booked a family room so it was a pleasant surprise to have two separate (adjoining) rooms (one for our children and one for us). Bedrooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. Facilities were great too! The pool was a big bonus! We used the pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and steam room. Slightly dated facilities but our children loved the pool nonetheless. Thank you for a great stay!

We didn't book the breakfast in the morning as we thought prices were quite steep- almost 60 Euros for all of us to have breakfast so we decided to eat elsewhere. FYI- there's a Centra down the road with a fab bakery and great coffee ;)

Location was great and parking is free on property! Hotel is a little dated. The pool and hot tub was clean. Lots of rules and regulation for the pool and hot tub, lady was rude that worked at the desk at the pool, kind of took away from the fun. The family room was huge… rooms could use an update. Air conditioning was terrible but they had fans that we were able to get from the front desk free of charge so that helped. Walking distance to the city center with plenty of shopping and restaurants. We had breakfast included in our stay which was nice. Breakfast was average and staff was friendly.

Needs updating. Staff at pool.

Family rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped. We had a baby and 2 kids and the room was set up with the travel cot and sofa bed already made up. Family room had two bedrooms, double and sofa bed in one and a double bed in the other. Excellent! We booked the pool for the kids and while it's small it was perfect as we had it too ourselves, again it was clean and the water was perfect temperature. Breakfast was brilliant, all you could ask for in a buffet, kids well catered for and we were even put in a quieter area as the staff were mindful of the baby for us and other diners. We had dinner in the bar and again it couldn't be faulted, reasonably priced high standard pub grub.

Breakfast was fantastic, there was a great selection of food ,everyone was covered such a great variety, staff were very fast to refill and clean up,Hotel was lovely and clean ,great bar also to have an enjoyable evening and great music provided, receptionists were very friendly too

The shower in our room didn't work , and it was very awkward trying to wash my Hair in the bath which also took time to fill ,I think showers should be regularly checked in all hotels, and also I know it's probably a trivial thing but maybe some waterstations or bottles of drinking water could be provided, I don't mind using the Bathroom water when boiling the kettle for tea ,but I don't like drinking it straight from the bathroom tap so ended up going and buying bottles of drinking water

The room was lovely and comfortable, the bar food was good albeit a bit expensive, and the buffet breakfast was substantial. Although I was surprised that mushrooms weren't one of the available options.

Complimentary water in the room would've been a nice bonus. Also, while there was liquid soap in the ensuite bathroom, there was no hand lotion or a separate bath mat for the floor. While I know you can't control the behaviour of other guests, despite being in the 'quiet zone', I was rudely awoken several times between 2:30 and 4am by other guests roaring along the corridor. I wore earplugs on the second night and there were no such issues!

Rooms were big enough for a family with 2 adults and 2 kids. We booked room with 2 queen beds. Kids loved the pool. The pool person was very friendly. They have sauna as well. Perfect location - not too far from Killarney centre and steps away from group tours pick up point. Staff was so caring - we needed a fridge and microwave because we had small baby and within 10mins we had it installed in room. Bar on the property was wonderful.

I wish we had got the renovated room. Although our room on first floor was clean - no complaints about that

Bed was comfy, room was spacious and the restaurant was excellent with great food and atmosphere. Tea facilities in the room and a great smart TV with all apps you need. Receptionist was friendly.

There was an 89€ surcharge on card when paying with cash. You get it back upon checkout, but it was a blindside. Hairdryer kept cutting off. Bathroom was accessible to a point, I have mobility issues and don't use a wheelchair, but I did feel for wheelchair users the sink was too high. Red cord needs to be unravelled and touching the floor in case it needs to be used. An extra bar near the bath wouldn't go amiss. A walk in shower would ideally be the most accessible as it was difficult to use the bath.

The location was great, very accessible to the town centre, national park, pubs and convenience stores. Walkable distance. The size of the room exceeded my expectations considering the price. It was very clean and tidy. Staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good.

The lack of consumables such as slippers, toothbrush, robes, bottled water, etc, those that you expect to be provided by hotels. I haven't seen any vending machines as well (at least I don't know where), would have been handy to have one each floor just incase you get hungry in the middle of the night.

Receptionist was lovely to deal with. We were given an upgrade to a king room in one of the newer rooms. The room itself was perfect for what we needed. The hot water was instant. We didn't use the bar facilities so I can't comment on that aspect. Location was good too, not too far from the town centre and a walk away from the INEC.

The bed was a small bit hard when sleeping. (A very small thing - the lamp shades next to the bed are wonky - but that didn't affect our stay - it was just noticeable)
