Very nice room, good parking, super friendly and helpful reception staff, brilliantly located for exploring the north west of Ireland, good food (huge portions) - would gladly stay again. Thank you all, especially the lovely lady on reception.

The only “fly in the ointment” was the woman in charge of breakfast on our second morning who for some unknown reason wouldn’t let us sit at the table we had sat at the previous day - they weren’t busy and there were lots of other free tables - so we had to sit between two very noisy tables unable to converse with each other - totally bizarre.

Lovely hotel, great breakfast with lots of choices and great location in Downings. I had an issue with the room i had booked (sea view), but the room didn't have that and i paid extra for this type of room. When i explained to staff that i wouldn't have paid that much for what i got and it wasn't what was advertised on Booking.com and i was told it was it partial sea view. I was unimpressed with it all at the start but a girl at reception rang my room later and said they would offer me a better price, which i have to say that ii really appreciate that.

Very central, check in was quick & the breakfast was good. We stayed during the August bank holiday weekend during the Downings festival, it was very busy but the hotel was prepared and managed it well.

A small criticism, when we returned to the hotel the doors were shut & it took some persuasion for the doorman to let us in. He was of course only doing his job and I understand why but to make it easier for him & guests, it may be an idea to provide him a list of guests to avoid any confusion or assumptions made.

Great location in town center. Spacious comfortable bedrooms. Parking on site. Near beach front. Great breakfast - a big shout out to Angela! (I think that’s the name) She welcomes everyone makes it feel like a family breakfast. And keeps the breakfast sitting running like clockwork.

The bathroom in our room. Main Lightbulb not working in our second day. Shower water leaking out onto floor. After informing receptionist she sent up extra floor towels. But needs to be addressed properly.

Breakfast was excellent in the beautiful ballroom. Staff were all courteous and we were able to get an extra hour before checking out. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The hotel is in the centre of the village and right next to the beach.

Our room was above the nightclub but as it was new year's eve we were fine with this. Plus when we booked the room it did say it was above the nightclub and a a lower cost than other rooms. The bedroom window handle was broke so could only open one window.

This was our favorite stop on our two week Ireland trip. the location was central and a quick walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, and bars. The hotel offers breakfast and has a restaurant and bar on sight which could be booked in advanced with reception.

GPS can be confusing so just note parking is in the back of the building and can be entered between the shop & neighboring restaurant. Signs are located in the lot.

Location is excellent. Central for exploring around Donegal. Food is great, staff were brilliant. Close to 2 local bars, the Tramore and Harbour, both of which are excellent. Tramore has a great pizza restaurant attached. Hotel is beside a nice beach and within walking distance of the spectacular Tramore beach. Have stayed here before and will be doing si again.

Not a great selection for gluten free at the Thursday night supper club but breakfast was great.

Very relaxing hotel and surroundings.Staff so nice and friendly except for 1 person second morning of breakfast service.

Did not like ther was a party of 10 of us.3 double rooms booked thru hotel Wer 340 euro.And myself and another couple were booked through urselves and was 400 euros.That was a big difference of 120 euros, would actually put u off booking again with urselves.

The staff at the reception (Karen + others) were excellent! The wait staff at breakfast were very friendly and made the breakfast very enjoyable every morning!

Really lovely and helpful staff, got us checked in early to spacious, clean rooms. The bar/restaurant was great, we ate there twice in 3 days. Would happily stay here again.

Only issue was the pool/leisure centre aren't on site, it's about a 5 minute drive. Just think that could be made clearer on the site.
