the breakfast is OK I had fruit and then cereal and tea and toiast with jam . but the hot buffet did not really appeal to me. the staff were very helpful and quick to respond to needs etc. it was great that the bar staff was friendly and responsive and the food was great considering i am a vegan by preferencec although I can eat some vegetarian options if without cheese but the options here were great thank you.

in my room the first night i stayed the shower didn't really have a cold option at least not one that I could find , but on my return journey the room i stayed in had a bath and the shower temperature was a lot more easy to control , so i could have a cold shower.

From the extremely warm welcome to the unrushed checkout, we felt very valued and our custom appreciated at the Ard Ri. The rooms were very spacious, clean and more than suitable for what we needed. All of us slept really well in what were very comfortable beds. The bathrooms had showers and baths, with the baths being powerful and remaining at a constant temperature while being used, absolutely perfect in fact. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both meals were excellently cooked and served by very friendly and courteous staff. Plenty of choice for both meals without being overly 'fancy'. Just good honest food at a good price, though the breakfast was included in our rate. The atmosphere in the bar/restaurant was friendly and warm too.

For the money we paid I really cannot think of anything worth mentioning, other than the awkward position of where the tea tray was located and where to plug the kettle in was not obvious, but once we realised that was fine too.

Really enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The food at the bar was lovely and served to us very promptly. A lovely atmosphere. There were events on in the hotel but we didn't hear a sound from them which was really great.

The only downfall at breakfast, especially on the second morning, we had to ask for lots of items to be refilled. The staff weren't keeping an eye on it and lots of items had run out. They seemed more taken up with cleaning off tables, which weren't urgently needed. Also I found green mould on my toast, which wasn't very professional.

Clean comfortable hotel on the outskirts of Tuam with a good restaurant and nice staff. There was a big bathroom with a bathtub. Bathtubs are a bit of luxury these days

The only window of our room faced a wall about 2 ft away. The room felt claustrophobic. Cost: The cost of the room was quite high but I think most Irish hotels have become very expensive. Maintenance: Our floor lamp needed a new bulb. The room didn't have much light so the floor lamp would have made a difference. A chandelier downstairs had only 1 or 2 working bulbs.

Very friendly staff especially Jana awhile made up a lovely bar food tray for me also male receptionist who greeted me when I arrived

Shower was scalding hot and very dangerous could not turn on cold water to adjust apologies to hotel I meant to inform them for their own benefit

Location was excellent for me , walking distance to town and friends .Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere.

unfortunately I had no wi fi all the time I was there, which was one whole werk

The location was perfect for what I needed and the cost of staying there was reasonable

The situation with breakfast first it was set menu next morning it was buffet which I really liked then again next morning set menu very confusing for me.

Location. Staff was wonderful and friendly.

Fire alarm went off at 1:00 am and it took a few minutes for staff to ascertain that there was no problem and to turn off the alarm, but I think they handled it as well as they could have done.

The location was perfect for us as we have family nearby. All the staff were friendly & very helpful. We felt very comfortable there. Room was a great size, food really good. Very happy with our stay there for 8 nights.

very good breakfast. staff were very attentive and pleasant, The hotel was very nice and easy to find.

room 103 was near the road and there was a lot of traffic noise at night. While the shower was excellent. the shower curtain reminded me of the nineties bathroom.
