The atmosphere was lovely. We arrived Sunday late afternoon and there was a great buzz around the hotel. It has a cosy welcoming feeling....a bit like coming home. We had a drink on the lawn whilst our daughter fed carrots to the pony. Then, we had dinner in the bar. The food was delicious. The staff our all so friendly and helpful. The view from our room was lovely overlooking horses in fields and swallows swooping everywhere. A lovely memory of a lovely summers evening.

Parts of the room could do with work. Bathroom floor and furniture needs refreshing. Having said the the room and bed very comfortable and clean.

Beautiful country house hotel close to Mallow town. Check in was so friendly and efficient and all the hotel staff from the moment we arrived until our departure were amazing. We were delighted that it was dog friendly and our little Yorkshire terrier loved the place and all the attention she got from the lovely staff. It was an extremely good value stay in such a gorgeous house and grounds. Food is amazing, menu isn't huge but more than enough and caters for every taste and our coliec family member was delighted with the gluten free options available.  I can't ever remember a better cooked breakfast in any country. The full Irish freshly cooked breakfast was cooked to perfection and my partner's scrambled eggs with salmon went down very well. We asked for an accessible friendly room and we were delighted that our good sized bathroom had a walk in shower with chair etc. Room was properly cleaned with really comfortable beds, tea/ coffee making facilities, iron etc. Superb value accomodation in beautiful countryside location. Highly recommended!

Relaxing and comfortable stay with attentive staff. The breakfast was wonderful, with home-baked soda bread toast the highlight and very good eggs. Room was GINORMOUS and had the comfiest bed. It was a quiet location, too and had lovely grounds and easy parking.

These are hard times, and there is evidence that they are working with a tight budget. Some of the fittings were mended or cracked, but the decor was of a high, classic standard and everything was beautifully clean, so it never felt bodged.

The location was good, a few kms outside Mallow, but very easy to get into the town centre and the Racecourse, nice friendly staff on the whole, great food and a nice room , a second chair in the room is needed, otherwise no real issues, well priced also.

Nothing really to dislike, though upon arrival the receptionist was a bit off hand/dismissive, Certainly not a Warm welcome, but this wasn't the Norm, more the exception so it Stood out, and like I said above a Second chair is needed in the room.

Unfortunately missed breakfast as slept in. The very friendly receptionist offered us coffee/bottled water as we were checking out which we really appreciated. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and again the receptionist booked us a table by the tv in the bar to watch a match. The staff in general were welcoming and friendly and there was a very relaxed atmosphere on the premises. I very much appreciated the additional parking time on site.

There was nothing to dislike but perhaps extending breakfast serving time on bank hol weekends might be a possibility.

We stayed at Springfort for a family wedding, Paul and all the staff couldn't do enough for us, Bridget at reception who made sure we were all happy with our rooms and baby monitors were all doing what they were supposed to, Michelle at the wedding reception worked tirelessly in the background so the meal and dancing went brilliantly and Justyna at breakfast the morning after was so kind to all of us, adults and tired children. All of the staff, from the front door to night porters and late night bar staff we thank ye all so much for helping make Eileen and Barry's wedding day one to remember, Paul should be so proud of all his staff and Springfort Hall is an amazing wedding venue. The ballroom looked amazing when we entered and the attention to detail was fantastic. Thank ye all again ♥️

The hotel is charming, in a lovely setting. The rooms were lovely and spacious, and it was nice and quiet. Breakfast was freshly cooked rather than a buffet which was nice The staff were friendly and helpful..

A very small thing , the service was lovely in a nice casual way, but maybe not always as 100% professional as it could be..

Wonderful pet friendly hotel. Wee Benjy was welcome everywhere in the hotel. Breakfast was great. All food was really good. Staff were all lovely and nothing was too much. Very accommodating. Beautiful garden area if the sun is shining. Defo be back 👍😃

Staff were amazing. Friendly, attentive, helpful & always at hand to answer questions. I loved the ambiance of the old house. The location is fabulous.

The bar feels a bit dated. Food is unimaginative & average. We ordered glasses of wine (Spanish) that was not the house wine & it was not drinkable but in all fairness we not charged for it.

Fantastic grounds. Great food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very prompt service for breakfast and dinner in the bar. Lovely room. Lots of hot water and a bath if you wanted it. I loved it and would be back in a heartbeat. I am a middle aged woman travelling alone for work and this place was ideal.

Very little to complain about, but two things to be aware of: Sockets are old fashioned round 3 pin. I always travel with a multi socket surge protector bracket and I needed it here. The only modern socket was about 9 feet from the bed so an extension is advisable. It's a fair compromise for such a beautiful old place! Second issue waz that the strip light over the sink didn't work. I looked amazing but I think that's because I couldn't see myself properly for applying makeup etc😎
