Lots to like. The decor everywhere was just really lovely. I understand they just remodelled it. Well done. And the meals were gorgeous. When we went to Christies pub & restaurant, I thought it might be just pub grub but I was pleasantly surprised. We got the lamb shanks and it was amazing. The breakfast too. All high quality food, beautiful taste and really lovely presentation.

It's hard to fault them. The room was a little smaller than I expected but they did such nice decor on the inside that you really didn't notice. The bed and room were clean and very comfortable. The blankets were a bit heavy (I would have preferred a lighter blanket) but, all in all, everything was very comfortable.

Breakfast disappointing and over-priced for what was served. Cannot understand any hotel serving Tetrapak fruit juices with breakfast. Likewise cannot understand absence of fresh fruit. I don't consider watermelon , tinned pineapple and tinned peaches to be acceptable. The cooked breakfast was almost inedible. In the same vein, I don't consider that Christy's Bar can be classified as a restaurant. It serves good pub grub, and that's about it. Our visit was during a (rare) Irish heatwave, and showed up the drawbacks of no air-conditioning and inadequately sized window vents. Probably wouldn't matter during more typical weather.

How easy it was to check in staff very friendly but still professional. Breakfast was fantastic it’s nice see young staff where they took pride in their job and nothing was too much trouble. Every member of staff made us feel welcome. The room was very clean and comfortable couldn’t wish for anything else. Woollen mills has its own gift shop restaurant and bar /pub and your in centre of Blarney

Couldn’t find anything we didn’t like so we’ll done Blarney woollen mills If I could rate you out of ten it would be a TEN I will definitely recommend Blarney woollen mills As I have family in Blarney will definitely be staying again.

The location - The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Blarney, surrounded by enchanting gardens, a historic castle and the legendary Blarney Stone. We were delighted to visit the gift store at Blarney Woollen Mills, you can shop here for souvenirs, luxury gifts, clothing, jewelry and more. The food - Our breakfast was an indulgence of flavors with an extensive menu and the perfect offerings to tickle our tastebuds. The music at The Loom restaurant put us in the right mood to kick-start our day! The artworks - The hotel was adorned with beautiful artworks highlighting intricate designs and close attention to details. The staff - We got an opportunity to interact with the hotel staff at the reception and at the restaurant, they were very approachable and friendly.

We were not happy with the duration of our stay. We were so fascinated with the hotel that we felt one night did not do justice to all the wonderful sights and sounds Blarney was still waiting to show us.

Comfortable room beautiful building and great history but high price for a Best Western. We had some issues with our room but would like to commend Noreen in reception who went above and beyond to help us sort them out. She was brilliant. A great asset. The separate restaurant/pub for evening meal was very good. The huge adjoining shop was an enjoyable distraction with some nice stock. Perfect location for Blarney Castle although it's just a ruin with a pretty garden and as such quite underwhelming and expensive.

The breakfast was very good but for our most expensive stay during our three weeks away it seemed more like a canteen than a restaurant. Sadly we thought Blarney a tourist trap.

Carmel was the receptionist at check-in and she was amazing! After check-in I returned to the front desk with questions and she helped me greatly and also engaged in a great chat of my family and our experiences on this heritage trip with my 85 yer old dad. There were 12 in our group and EVERYONE raved of the location, the delicious breakfast - coffee was perfect - and the buffet was incredible. The grounds were immaculate and we also enjoyed our time in the bar for a delicious meal and drinks. The walk to Blarney Castle was lovely and I will tell everyone I know that is planning a trip to consider a stay here!

I think we were there on trash collection day. It was fine, but startling. Perhaps letting residents know when it is trash collection day that it may be a bit noisy in the morning would help. There is not much else that could be done about it, it is out of your control.

Giant tub! Very welcome after all the hiking we did in the prior days. It was easily 5 feet in length! Extremely close to Blarney castle walking path right by hotel. Large parking lot so you can leave your car and take bus into cork which we recommend! If you go to post office which is not far from hotel you can get their green leap card and take the bus into the city and back out. Or cab into the city and back. Too hard to find parking in cork. English market was fun and the city is hopping! Hit Blarney castle first before the crowds. The steps up are small and steep it was nice not to be crowded!

Loved this stay and the history behind it. Great access to sights nearby i.e. Blarney Castle and Gardens, The Midleton Distillery Experience (Jameson), Cork. Was pleasently surprised by how nice the accomodation was for and old Wool Mill. Room was sizeable and the facilities were pretty awesome. Staff were friendly and welcoming, check in was a breeze. We've loved included breakfasts on our tour around Ireland and Blarney Woollen Mills Hotel is no exception. Good size portions for breakfast and an excellent way to start your day of sightseeing. Recommend Sika Cafe for a coffee, its right near the entrance to Blarney Castle and Gardens.

Everything. It’s a mere ten minute drive from the city. But where it is , is like a break from the city too. Brilliant vibrant atmosphere in the town. The hotel is well maintained by excellent polite staff who treat you like you’re the number one priority. (Trust me I’ve stayed in places where that doesn’t happen). The breakfast staff in the Loom were all fantastic polite and most helpful. On my second day there Roy Keane was having a coffee just feet away from me. 10/10 I recommend the Omelette 🍳 for brekkie. The one with the bacon in it.

Hotel was nice , Rooms lovely and roomy and clean . Breakfast was good with friendly Staff . I Will defo go back for another visit .

Room was Freezing and even though I twisted the Radiator Valve in every direction and set the dial to 4 , the heating wouldn't come on . Reported it to Reception when checking out only to be told , You have to twist the knob , oh why didn't I think of that .... she was not very sympathetic . Bar Area was lacking atmosphere as it was open plan with the Reception Area , hence the Bar was empty as everyone either went to Christys adjoined to the hotel or The Muskerry Arms nearby .
